    Bevel 3.0

Bevel Health launches Bevel 3.0 with a more proactive AI coaching system, Biological Age, and Health Records, bringing health data, clinical records, and personal context together in one smarter app. The update also adds new training, food logging, and chart improvements.

Bevel 3.0 is the most powerful version of Bevel yet: your health data, clinical records, and personal context are finally working together in one intelligent system.

Bevel Intelligence is now a personalized, proactive coaching system that understands your goals and helps you act on your data. Biological Age gives you a meaningful long-term view of how your body is performing. And Health Records brings your clinical data into the picture, making every insight more complete.

    This release includes:

    • Bevel Intelligence V2: Coaching personalities, proactive check-ins, a new files system, artifact creation, conversational food logging, and AI-powered training plans and strength workouts.
    • Biological Age: A long-term health metric powered by your wearable data, daily habits, and bloodwork, recalculated weekly.
    • Health Records: Upload blood tests and health documents directly into Bevel, with automatic blood biomarker extraction into Biology.
    • Plus many other improvements across the app.

Please note that this is a phased release over seven days. If you want to update immediately, you can download it from the App Store here. The app will clear cache and reload all data in this update.

    All-New Bevel Intelligence

We've rebuilt Bevel Intelligence from the ground up. It's more capable, more personal, and now works proactively in the background, so you spend less time digging for answers and more time acting on them.

    Here's what's new:

    Files

Files replaces Memory with a dynamic, persistent store of everything Bevel Intelligence knows about you: your preferences, goals, training plans, and generated artifacts. Files are automatically created, updated, and deleted as things change, so your context stays current.

    Personalities

You can now choose how Bevel Intelligence communicates and coaches you, with four options:

    • Data Nerd: Analytical and detail-oriented, focused on trends, patterns, and the why behind your numbers.
    • Guardian: Calm and balanced, helping you zoom out and make decisions with your long-term health in mind.
    • Friend: Warm and encouraging, keeping you motivated and consistent.
    • Commander: Direct and action-oriented, clear on what matters and what to do next.

Personalities apply across conversations and embedded messages throughout the app. You can also give Bevel Intelligence more tone guidance, and it will adapt.

    Check-ins

Bevel Intelligence no longer waits for you to ask a question. Check-ins let you schedule proactive insights and updates, such as:

    • A morning report with last night’s stats
    • Reminders to log meals or supplements
    • Daily progress check-ins for goals like marathon training, strength training, or nutrition
    • Weekly or monthly summaries with top insights from your data

    Artifacts

Bevel Intelligence can now generate custom visual artifacts from your health data, helping you explore relationships between metrics like:

    • HRV vs. menstrual cycle phase
    • Sugar impact on deep sleep

    Food Logging

Food logging is now conversational. Send a photo or describe what you ate, and Bevel Intelligence will log it directly. If a food isn’t in our database, Bevel creates a custom food on the spot. Follow-up edits are easy too; say “I only ate half of that,” and the portion updates immediately.

    Training Plans

Bevel Intelligence can now build a complete training plan around your goal, whether it’s a 5K, marathon, or strength PR, and track your progress along the way. If life gets in the way, just tell Bevel, and it will reorganize the plan around you.

    Strength Templates

You can now ask Bevel Intelligence to build custom strength templates and link them to your training plan. Bevel calculates weights and reps based on your history and preferences. Edit templates in natural language anytime, then start the workout from Bevel Intelligence or save it for later.

    Biological Age

Biological Age is finally here. It’s the most powerful metric we’ve built, and we’ve redesigned the Biology experience around it. Biological Age surfaces the physiology, habits, and bloodwork that show how your body is truly aging.

    Weekly Age Update

Each Monday, you’ll see a new Biological Age based on a rolling average of your past month of data. Tap into the weekly change to see which biomarkers are moving the needle and view a 20-year projection.

    Age Biomarkers

Biological Age is powered by metrics across five categories:

    • Sleep: Time Asleep and Sleep Consistency
    • Activity: Daily Steps, Weekly Zone 2–3 and Zone 4-5 time, and Weekly Strength Training time
    • Fitness: VO2 Max, Resting Heart Rate, and Lean Body Mass
    • Lifestyle: Nutrition Score, Smoking Impact, and Alcohol
    • Blood Biomarkers: 9 core lab values integrated using Levine's PhenoAge model — Upload these via Health Records to unlock the full picture

    Confidence Level

Confidence reflects the freshness and completeness of your data. As lab results age or data becomes stale, Bevel shifts weight toward your most recent physiological signals and is transparent about what’s missing.

    Other Biomarkers

Your existing Biology metrics, like HRV baselines, resting heart rate, weight, and body fat, are still here with a cleaner design.

    Health Records

Your most important health data is often the most fragmented, scattered across portals, PDFs, and paper records. That changes with Health Records.

You can now upload blood tests and health documents directly into Bevel. Lab results, clinical notes, imaging reports, prescriptions — your medical history now lives alongside the rest of your health data.

    How It Works

From Bevel Intelligence or Biology, you can upload a file or take a photo from your phone or desktop.

Bevel automatically extracts your biomarkers and maps them to your Biology tab. For other documents, like clinical notes or immunization records, Bevel Intelligence can use them as context to personalize your guidance.

    Privacy

We use industry-standard security practices, never sell or share your data with third parties, and ensure all data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Read our Privacy Policy or watch our video to learn more.

    Other Fixes & Improvements

In addition to the major features above, we've made some other quality improvements and fixed existing bugs.

    • Reduced the size of the Sync banner to no longer block buttons.
    • Added a 7-day smoothed trendline to Body Fat and Lean Body Mass charts in Biology.
    • Added a way to enter your biological sex or desired reference range in Account Settings.

That's everything for Bevel 3.0! For the latest updates, follow our Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and subreddit.

If you have suggestions or want a feature prioritized, please check out the feedback board and upvote posts you support. We will try our best to prioritize posts with higher upvotes first.

Please report any bugs or issues in the Bevel app > Settings > Report a bug.

    Pricing

As part of this 3.0 release, we've updated our pricing to reflect the new features and the much more powerful AI under the hood. Pro is now $14.99/month or $99.99/year. Exact pricing may vary by region based on App Store conversion.

We know this is substantially more than the old pricing. Pro is built for members who want more out of their data: not just numbers, but a real coaching partner on their health journey. Bevel Intelligence, Health Records, and Biological Age are designed for that. And 3.0 is just the start. This new pricing allows us to keep building even more powerful features going forward.

    Free isn't going anywhere.

We're committed to making Bevel accessible to everyone. The full tracking experience, including Recovery, Sleep, Strain, Nutrition, Fitness, and more, stays free. We're still actively building new free features, and any feature that's free today will stay free forever. If Pro doesn't fit your needs or budget, we genuinely believe the free plan works great for most people.

If you're already a Pro subscriber, you're grandfathered in:

    • Annual subscribers keep their original price forever, as long as the subscription stays active
    • Monthly subscribers keep their original price through October 31, 2026. After that, you'll move to the new monthly rate
    • 60-day grace period: If your subscription lapses for any reason, you have 60 days to resubscribe at your preserved price
    • Switching plans: If you switch between monthly and annual, you may move to the current pricing for the new plan, so check the price in the App Store before confirming

You can always see your current price under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Bevel. Full details in our pricing FAQ.

    Bevel 2026 Winter Release

Happy New Year! We have some new updates to Bevel, like Strength Builder and the new Watch App. Hopefully, this update helps you stay motivated for yo...

    Strength Builder

We've made some major updates to Strength Builder to make workouts easier to build and manage during training, especially during live sessions.

    What's New

    • Redesigned Templates & Live Sync: A refreshed layout that clearly distinguishes between completed and unfinished sets and enables full customization.
    • Rest Timers: Timers are now built directly into Templates and Live Sync. You can choose between setting rest times per exercise or per set.
    • Exercise Progression History: View your last weights and reps for a given exercise within Templates and Live Sync.
    • New Live Sync Keyboard: Automatically calculate your barbell plates with Plate Calculator, easily add or subtract weight, and copy weight and reps to upcoming sets.
    • Live Activities: Follow your workout from the locked iPhone screen and Dynamic Island, showing live heart rate, duration and current sets and reps.
    • Advanced Strength Settings: Set a default rest time, disable set-by-set confirmation of weights and reps, and auto-fill new sets using your last set's values.
    • Weight Defaults: Your added exercises will now preload with the weight used in your last performed set instead of defaulting to 20lbs.
    • Duration-based Countdown: Timed exercises now continue counting until you manually stop the set; perfect for holds where you want to push yourself even further.

    Watch App

The Bevel Watch app has a brand-new look, designed to feel more consistent with your phone and more useful at a glance.

    What's New
    • Redesigned Watch Dashboard: A scrollable layout that mirrors your phone's Home Dashboard.
    • Expanded Metrics on Watch: We've added Cardio Load, Nutrition Score, Calories, Macros & Net Energy, Glucose, Food Logs and Food Contributors.
    • Faster Access: Quick shortcuts to Sleep Alarm and Workout Templates.
    • New Complications: We've added circular, card, and corner complications for Nutrition Score, Net Energy, Calories, and Macros, and updated others. You can edit your Watch face by pressing down on the face > Edit > Add the new Bevel complications.

    Oura & Strava Integrations

Bevel now integrates directly with Oura, allowing you to use Bevel as your primary app alongside your Oura Ring. That's right, no more shortcuts!

You can also sync all of your Bevel Strength Builder workouts, historical activites and third-party workouts to Strava.

    How to Integrate with Oura
    1. Go to Settings > Data Sources > Add Integration.

    2. Tap Oura Ring and sign in.

    3. Choose whether you want to sync all historical data with Bevel. Wait a few minutes to load your data.

    4. If you already have Oura syncing to Apple Health, Bevel will prompt you to hide Oura (Apple Health) as a Data Source for Sleep, Workouts, etc. so you don't see duplicate data.

    5. Under "Manage", you will see an option to set a Temperature Baseline. Oura's API only provides temperature deviations, so this is required to show Temperature in-app. The default temperature is based on your age and sex, however you can change it if you know your typical baseline.

Note: Due to minor API delays, we recommend syncing your Oura app with your ring every morning and periodically throughout the day.

    How to Integrate with Strava
    1. Go to Settings > Data Sources > Add Integration.

    2. Tap Strava and sign in.

    3. Turn on Auto-sync for Bevel workouts and/or Other workouts if you would like Bevel to automatically sync workouts as soon as you complete them. Alternatively, you can manually sync each activity by clicking the Activity > ... > Sync to Strava.

Note: Strava enforces an initial signup limit for new integrations. If we temporarily hit that limit, you may need to wait while we expand access. We’re actively working with Strava to increase capacity.

    Other Fixes & Improvements

In addition, we've made many other quality improvements and fixed several bugs.

    New & Improved

    • Added a Cardio Load "Calibrating" status while your data is still calibrating. You will see this status if you do not yet have 6 weeks of activity and resting heart rate data, or you have not logged workouts in a while.
    • Added a way to delete individual third-party activities from Bevel. Deleting activities will remove them from your Strain and Cardio Load metrics.
    • Added a percent progress indicator to the sync banner.
    • Added a temperature baseline for Garmin as well. You will need to Resync data to see temperature data in app.
    • Updated the Energy Bank calendar to show the maximum and latest energy values for each day.
    • Improved the accuracy of Generate Workout Templates and Import Exercise AI features. Importing exercises will now parse rest times and prompt you to create custom exercises if not found.
    • Improved the accuracy of Describe Food AI to reliably match foods and return reasonable serving sizes.
    • Improved the Garmin Connect integration data loading speed.
    • Updated Liquid Glass design in remaining areas throughout the app.
    • Changed Garmin trail runs to map to runs, not hikes.
    • Improved data loading speed across the Phone and Watch apps.

    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed an issue with Supersets not saving in Activity Summaries correctly.
    • Fixed an issue with wide images in food logs causing the sheet to stretch.
    • Fixed an issue with Journal default entries not saving.
    • Fixed an issue with the Journal morning popup not appearing in some cases.
    • Fixed an issue with Garmin notifications being sent when the Data Source was hidden.
    • Fixed an issue with the Cycle Tracking period phase not extending in some cases.

That's everything for the 2026 Winter Release!

    Cycle Tracking

We’re excited to introduce Cycle Tracking: a feature built to bring more context, care, and personalization to Women’s Health in Bevel. Health isn’t one‑size‑fits‑all; hormonal changes affect how you sleep, recover, train, and feel, and we wanted Bevel to reflect that. By adding cycle awareness to your existing Bevel metrics, your recommendations now adapt to where you are in your cycle, helping you make better decisions every day.

Cycle Tracking can be enabled in Settings > Customization > Cycle. You can press Edit Home to customize where it appears on your Home Dashboard.

    What You'll See

    • Flow & Symptom Logging: Log flow and over 20 symptoms from the Cycle Tracking page, calendar, or the Action Button.
    • Phase Predictions: Bevel predicts four cycle phases (Period, Follicular, Ovulatory, Luteal) using historical patterns and temperature trends, and pausing predictions if irregularities occur.
    • Cycle Summary: See key metrics like cycle length, period length, and variability with indicators for irregularity.
    • Trends: See how Temperature, Resting Heart Rate, Heart Rate Variability and Recovery Score deviate across phases, including the Temperature rise used to predict the Ovulatory phase.
    • Typical Recovery: Your Recovery Score now has a Typical Recovery range, to show where your Recovery lies during each cycle phase.
    • Contraception: Log up to eight types of contraceptive methods. You can log flow and symptoms, however hormonal contraceptives will pause phase predictions.
    • Bevel Intelligence: Opt-in to find daily insights and recommendations based on your logs and Trends. You can ask questions about your cycle, hormone fluctuation, nutrition, workouts and more.

    Privacy

All reproductive health data, including flow, contraception, and symptoms, is stored securely in Apple Health. Bevel does not store reproductive data on our servers and never sells your information. You can view or delete your data anytime through Bevel Settings or Apple Health. If you enable Reproductive Health in Bevel Intelligence Settings, only the necessary data is accessed to support your insights. You can review our full privacy policy here: https://docs.bevel.health/privacy-policy.

Bevel Cycle Tracking is a wellness feature, not a medical device. It should not be used for conception, contraception, or diagnosing conditions. All cycle phases, including ovulation, are estimates. Always consult a medical professional for health concerns.

    Nutrition Score

We've redesigned the Nutrition Score to give you a clearer, more accurate view of how your daily food choices support your health. The new approach is grounded in leading evidence-based nutrition research from AHEI, USDG, EU, and WHO guidelines, reflecting the patterns shown to reduce chronic disease risk.

Instead of scoring each food individually, you'll now see Food Quality Contributors like vegetables, whole grains, or red meat. These contributors add or subtract from your daily score so you can see at t aglance how your choices are shaping your overall diet.

    Why We Made the Change

You shared that the previous score sometimes felt unclear or didn't reflect the true quality of your meals. It leaned heavily on macros, sodium and sugar, which meant certain foods were over- or under-valued.

The new Nutrition Score better captures what actually matters: the quality of ingredients, the balance of your day, and the eating patterns linked to long-term health. To reinforce that balance, the score now includes diminishing returns so no single food group can carry your entire day.

    How It Works

Each day starts with a locked score. After your first meal, a score from 1-100 appears and updates as you eat. Foods can move the score up, down, or stay neutral, depending on how they fit within the evidence‑based guidelines. For example, about 2.5 cups of vegetables can earn up to +10 points while more than one serving of processed meat can subtract up to −10 points.

If you track glucose, Glucose Impact continues to contribute to your Nutrition Score.

    Positive Contributors

These Contributors will add to your Nutrition Score:

    • Vegetables (+10): Whole, minimally processed vegetables are strongly linked to lower risk of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.
    • Fruits (+10): Whole fruits provide fiber and antioxidants that protect against chronic disease and support metabolic health.
    • Whole grains (+10): High-fiber whole grains improve gut health and lower risk of heart disease and diabetes.
    • Healthy oils (+10): Unsaturated fats from healthy oils reduce inflammation, support hormones, and protect cardiovascular health.
    • Nuts & Legumes (+10): Rich in plant proteins and healthy fats, nuts and legumes improve heart health and longevity.
    • Omega-3s (+10): Omega-3 fats support heart, brain, and metabolic health and lower inflammation.

    Negative Contributors

These Contributors will subtract from your Nutrition Score:

    • Red meat (-5): High intake increases risk of cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain cancers.
    • Processed meat (-10): Processed meats raise risk of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer due to sodium and preservatives.
    • Alcohol (-10): Even moderate alcohol use increases risk of cancer, hypertension, and liver disease.
    • Excess sugar (-10): Added sugars increase risk of obesity, insulin resistance, and cardiovascular disease.
    • Excess sodium (-5): Too much sodium raises blood pressure and risk of stroke and heart disease.

    Garmin Integration

By popular demand, Bevel now integrates directly with Garmin Connect™. You can now use your Garmin device exclusively with Bevel, or switch seamlessly between your Apple Watch and Garmin devices.

    How to Integrate

    1. Go to Settings › Data Sources › Add Integration.
    2. Tap Garmin Connect™ and sign in.
    3. Sync up to 1 month of historical data with Bevel.
    4. If you use multiple devices, choose which to show/hide in Data Sources for Sleep, Workouts, etc. If you have existing Connect data via Apple Health, make sure to disable "Connect" data sources to prevent duplicate data.
    5. If you previously had Garmin Connect™ write to Apple Health, you should disable this to prevent overlap moving forward.

    Data Loading and History

Additionally, due to limitations of the API, the following metrics will not be available within Bevel: Temperature, Daytime HRV, Time to Fall Asleep, RPE in workouts, and Resting Calories. Resting Heart Rate will be calculated based on the samples, so it may not match exactly what you see in Garmin Connect™.

    Other Fixes & Improvements

In addition to Cycle Tracking, the new Nutrition Score and Garmin Integration, we've made many other quality improvements and fixed existing bugs.

    New & Improved

    • Added Liquid Glass design effects across the app including the navigation bar, menus, calendars, pages and more.
    • Enabled double tap and action button integration to start and stop sets in Strength Builder.
    • Added Nutrition shortcuts for Search, Camera, Describe, Import, Barcode Scan and My Foods.
    • Added a Camera Control to log food directly from your camera (iPhone 16 & later).
    • Improved Bevel Intelligence memory generation, data fluency, added onboarding & minimized hallucinations.
    • Improved the speed of Nutrition Search.
    • Updated the 1RM calculation to be the max 1RM for each exercise in the last 14 days.

    Bug Fixes

    • Fixed a bug where some heart rate data was being dropped from workouts for certain Data Source configurations.
    • Fixed a bug with the back button freezing in Strength Builder workouts.
    • Fixed several language translation issues.

That's everything for the 2025 Fall Release! For the latest updates, follow our Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and subreddit.
