A new Content Helper Topics endpoint has been released. It identifies the topics covered by top-ranking pages for a keyword and can score a target URL against them.

The default value of traffic_mode on Site Explorer API endpoints has changed from static to adaptive. Pass traffic_mode=static explicitly to continue using the previous organic traffic calculation model.

The search_volume_type=keyword_volume option remains available on Brand Radar API endpoints until Sep 30, 2026.

After that date, all requests will use AI-adjusted volume.

The Brand Radar prompts endpoint now returns each prompt's tags field. A new Update Brand Radar prompts endpoint lets you update the countries and tags assigned to prompts.

The SA Project Issues endpoint now returns AI Discoverability as an issue category.

The SE AI responses count endpoint now supports all_platforms in select and returns its combined citations and pages counts.

The substring and isubstring filter operators are no longer supported for the search_queries field in Brand Radar API endpoints. Use phrase_match or iphrase_match instead.

The SE Crawled pages endpoint now returns languages, page_category, page_type, and publish_date fields. These fields can also be selected, filtered, and used to order results.

The Batch Analysis endpoint now supports the top_countries parameter to return up to 10 countries in the org_traffic_top_by_country field.

The free Domain Rating endpoint now requires an API key. Requests to it remain free and do not consume API units. The warning field about unauthenticated access has been removed from the response.

The SMM Post metrics endpoint now returns the youtube_metrics field with the comment count for YouTube posts.

A traffic_mode parameter has been added to the SE Metrics, Metrics by country, Metrics history, Organic competitors, Organic keywords, Pages by traffic, and Top pages endpoints. It selects the organic traffic calculation mode, static (default) or adaptive, and affects organic traffic and traffic value.

A new Top domains by Domain Rating endpoint has been released. It returns the top 1M domains ranked by Domain Rating, with from and to to request a range of rank positions.

The SE Top pages endpoint now returns AI citation counts per AI platform: ai_responses_chatgpt, ai_responses_copilot, ai_responses_gemini, ai_responses_google_ai_mode, ai_responses_google_ai_overviews, ai_responses_grok, and ai_responses_perplexity.

CSV is no longer an accepted output value on the SE Organic keywords endpoint. The supported values are json, php, and xml.

The target_mode parameter of the KE Overview endpoint has been renamed to mode.
