ahrefs API Updates & Release Notes

The SA Projects endpoint has been updated with major improvements:

• Support for historical crawl data.
• Ability to query a specific project.
• Always-on Audit (AOA) support.
• Additional metrics, including counts of crawled URLs, errors, warnings, and notices.

Additional Brand Radar API endpoints have been released:

• Mentions distribution
• Impressions history
• Mentions history

The first Brand Radar stats endpoint has been released:

• Impressions overview: Returns brand impressions across AI clients with the same filters as in the UI.

A new RT Competitor stats endpoint has been released. It returns SoV, traffic, position counts, and other competitor metrics from Rank Tracker projects.

The new SA Page Explorer endpoint has been released. It provides programmatic access to Page Explorer metrics and supports historical comparisons and issue-based URL filtering.

The is_spam field has been added to all backlink-related API endpoints. This field matches the spam filter available in the Site Explorer UI.

The first Brand Radar API endpoint has been released:

• AI responses: Returns AI-generated responses with the same columns and filters as in the UI.

A new SA Issues endpoint has been released. It returns the list of issues for a Site Audit project and supports historical comparisons with metrics such as newly affected and fixed URLs.

The new SA Page content endpoint has been released. It allows retrieving raw HTML, rendered HTML, or extracted text content from Site Audit crawls, including historical snapshots for verified projects.

Several updates have been made to APIv3:

• A new RT SERP Overview endpoint has been released to retrieve SERP data from Rank Tracker projects.
• The SE Organic keywords endpoint now includes the all_positions field with all ranking URLs and positions.
• The RT Overview endpoint now returns search intent data and mobile/desktop volume distribution.
• The Projects endpoint now includes the number of keywords tracked in Rank Tracker.

New API endpoints to manage Keyword Explorer keyword lists have been released:

• GET keyword-list-keywords: Lists all keywords in a keyword list.
• PUT keyword-list-keyword: Add keywords to a list.
• PUT keyword-list-keywords-delete: Remove keywords from a list.

A second batch of endpoints to manage Rank Tracker projects has been released. These endpoints allow modifying RT projects programmatically:

• POST project: Create a new project.
• PUT project-keyword: Add keywords to a project with locations and tags.
• PUT project-keywords-delete: Remove keywords from a project.
• POST project-competitor: Add competitors to a project.
• POST project-competitors-delete: Remove competitors from a project.

The new volume_monthly_history fields has been added to the KE Overview endpoint. It returns historical monthly search volumes for requested keywords based on the period set by the volume_monthly_date_from and volume_monthly_date_to parameters.

The RT Competing pages endpoint has been released.
