App Store Connect adds regulated medical device declarations in App Information and new compliance information fields in Business to help meet regional reporting requirements, with minor editorial fixes included.

- You can now declare your app's regulated medical device status and provide the necessary details in the App Information section for your app in App Store Connect. Apps that are distributed in the European Union (EU)/European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), or United States (U.S.) and meet either of the following criteria are required to indicate whether they’re regulated medical devices:
- Have a primary or secondary category of Health & Fitness or Medical
- Have indicated your app contains “frequent” in the Medical or Treatment Information field in the age rating questionnaire in App Store Connect
- In order to comply with regulatory requirements in certain jurisdictions, you can now enter your compliance information in the Business section of App Store Connect. This is to align with requirements for Directive on Administrative Cooperation-7th Amendment, Part XX of the Income Tax Act, Model Reporting Rules for Digital Platforms, and Sharing Economy Reporting Regime.
