The submission process for In-App Purchases and subscriptions has been updated. You can now submit In-App Purchases, subscriptions, subscription groups, and non-renewing subscriptions directly from the In-App Purchases and Subscriptions sections in App Store Connect using Add for Review.

As announced in June, the age rating questionnaire in App Store Connect now includes questions about your app's social media capabilities to help ensure your app appears correctly in Time Allowances. You can review and answer these questions starting today.

TestFlight update

You can now submit apps built with Xcode 27 beta 3 using the SDK for iOS 27.0 beta 3, iPadOS 27.0 beta 3, macOS 27.0 beta 3, tvOS 27.0 beta 3, visionOS 27.0 beta 3, and watchOS 27.0 beta 3 for internal and external testing.

You can now upload apps built with Xcode 26.6 using the SDK for iOS 26.5 RC, iPadOS 26.5 RC, macOS 26.5 RC, visionOS 26.5 RC, tvOS 26.5 RC, and watchOS 26.5 RC for the App Store, and for internal and external testing through TestFlight.

TestFlight updates

• You can now submit apps built with Xcode 27 beta 2 using the SDK for iOS 27.0 beta 2, iPadOS 27.0 beta 2, macOS 27.0 beta 2, tvOS 27.0 beta 2, visionOS 27.0 beta 2, and watchOS 27.0 beta 2 for internal and external testing.
• TestFlight 4.2.2 is now available on the App Store for iPhone, iPad and Mac. This update includes stability improvements and bug fixes.

• Updates to alternative distribution, alternative app marketplaces, and alternative payment options, including support for Brazil.
• You can now drop support for Intel-based Mac computers if your universal macOS app has a minimum system version of 13 or later. Remove the x86_64 architecture, then upload and submit your build to the Mac App Store.

Minor editorial fixes were also made.

You can now provide localized assets in Apple-hosted asset packs and create up to 200 Apple-hosted asset packs for an app. Additionally, you can create and test non-localized asset packs on the Linux operating system using the Managed Background Assets Developer Tools for Linux.

You can now submit apps built with Xcode 27 beta using the SDK for iOS 27 beta, iPadOS 27 beta, macOS 27 beta, tvOS 27 beta, visionOS 27 beta, and watchOS 27 beta for internal and external testing, with support for the following:

• Localized asset packs for Apple-Hosted Background Assets to help reduce app size by delivering only the localized assets relevant to the user based on their device settings.

TestFlight 4.2.1 is now available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad. This update includes stability improvements and bug fixes.
