Boomi Platform Updates & Release Notes

New Features

• Introduced Boomi Concierge from your first login during your trial. The concierge answers your product questions, creates assets based on your goals, and guides you directly to the right features for your needs. Refer to Boomi Concierge to learn more. (UU-20172)

Enhancements

• Updated CORS handling so boomi.com origins no longer need to be added to account CORS configurations. (PS-14354)
• Updated the Authentication page under Settings with a modernized interface for setting up, changing, and reconfiguring two-factor authentication methods. This update doesn't change existing MFA functionality. Refer to Two-factor authentication to learn more. (PS-14471)
• Enabled the Solution Graph Canvas to automatically synchronize assets as you create, update, connect, or delete them, keeping your graph in sync with your solution. You can also manually manage assets directly in the canvas. (UU-19786)
• Added Marketplace templates and accelerators directly within the Overlay panel in Orchestrate, so you can discover and use reusable assets without leaving your solution design workflow. (UU-19787)
• Added a workspace switcher to the global navigation (platform masthead), letting you switch between workspaces and view every workspace you have access to from a single, consistent entry point. (UU-19939)
• To align with Boomi's updated feature release stages, all connectors currently labeled "Tech Preview" will be renamed to Early Access to be consistent with updates to Boomi's Early Access program. This is a label change only: how these connectors work, how you access them, and the terms of use remain unchanged.

Fixes

• Resolved an issue where custom connection encrypted values failed when Environment Extensions were saved or updated on KMS-enabled accounts. (PS-14985)
• Resolved an issue where Platform API endpoints returned duplicate headers for boomi.com origins, which caused browser requests to fail CORS checks. (PS-14354)
• Resolved an issue where the Platform API returned a different account group list compared to the list in the Platform UI. (PS-14751)
• Resolved an issue on the Integration canvas where the unsaved changes warning did not appear when navigating away from the Build page. This warning now displays correctly, letting you save changes before you leave. (ONE-1480)

Boomi AI Gateway

• Introduced Boomi AI Gateway, which manages and governs LLMs, MCP servers, and Skills in a single solution. LLM Gateway manages and secures your organization's AI model and related API traffic, while MCP Gateway governs how AI agents discover and access tools through the model context protocol (MCP). Skills let you package reusable, agent-ready tools that any connected agent can invoke.

We added these features

• Orchestrate now supports manual editing of solution diagrams. You can add, remove, and connect asset nodes in the diagram instead of using chat prompts only. When you save changes, Orchestrate updates the solution and asset summaries to match. Some assets allow only certain connections, so you may not see every option for a node. Refer to Editing a solution to learn more. (AGCT-5406)
• Introduced asset synchronization for Orchestrate, which updates the Solutions view and Asset view canvas when an asset is renamed or deleted in its home product.
  • Deleted assets remain visible with a status label instead of disappearing. You must acknowledge a banner before you can save a solution with a deleted asset.
  • Renamed assets update automatically with no action required.
  • Removing or deleting an asset node in Orchestrate does not delete the corresponding asset in its home product. Refer to Building a solution to learn more. (ONE-1245, ONE-1247, ONE-1248)

We added these features

• Added Boomi Connect as a selectable service on the Licensing & Usage page, giving you visibility into tool call consumption and connector usage alongside your other Boomi products. Refer to the Usage tab to learn more. (ONE-25)
• The Recommended Filters feature is now available in the EU Platform. This feature allows you to select recommended query filters for your connector. It will take some time for the new platform to build up usage patterns before you will see filter recommendations. Refer to Using recommended connector Query filters to learn more. (PLAT-7737)
