Enhancements

Exclude Inactive Timekeepers

• If users wish to exclude entries for inactive timekeepers, they can now check the Active Timekeepers only box when generating the following reports:
  • Timekeepers Time Report
  • Timekeepers Expense Report
  • WIP Summary
  • Time Expense Flag Report
  • Billing By Timekeeper
  • Collection By Timekeeper
  • Collected Fee Allocation
  • Financial Productivity Report
  • Fee Recovery Report

Fixes

• When previewing or downloading invoices using the [#AddChargeItems#] merge field, the Additional Charge Items(Cost) table will include date, timekeeper initials, description, quantity, rate, and amount.
• Users will be able to save any changes made to matter settings such as billing frequency, fixed fees, etc.

Fixes

We have fixed a few bugs in the system.

• If a user deletes a trust transaction, the action will immediately update the activity log under Dashboard > Recent Activities.
• When previewing invoices, the merge field [#cost-tax1-amount#] will display the correct tax on (soft and hard cost) amount.
• After undoing a split, system will display the correct time and amount for the timecard.
• When using the custom import feature, all the entries of a file will display regardless of the file having headers or not.

When generating reports, if users wish to exclude inactive matter owners from the list of matter owners in the drop-down, they can now check the Active Matter Owners only box for the following reports:

Filter Summary in Report

Each report that a user generates will include a summary of the applied filters at the bottom of the report to give users the criteria for data that appears on the report.

Enhancements - System Emails

Users will see a greater degree of detail in the system emails for task completion, task reminder, comments, event reminder, event invitation, event update, and event cancellation.

Fixes

• Users will be able to access all the SMS messages shared with a client from the Matters section.
• Client Portal users will be able to view invoices when they are uploaded to their portal if they switch between tabs.
• Bank COA in the General Ledger report will not include duplicate entries if the transaction is associated with matter expense.
• When selecting “Active Matter Owners Only” in reports, the filter summary will display the selected option.
• Client-Matter Ledger report will display all the trust transactions for selected date range for the matter.
• When adding an expense, taxable setting will be based on the selected expense’s settings defined under Setup > List Items > Expense.

eBilling Classification

• To allow law firms to accurately categorize their timekeepers in e-billing reports, we have added a new Senior Associate classification under Edit Timekeeper > Advanced Settings > E-Billing > Classification.

Fixes

• While editing a transaction in the reconciliation screen, users will be redirected to the hard cost screen when they click on the Include Matter Expense option.
• When you import a QBO file with missing elements, you will get the correct error message.

Enhancements

Invoice field information, new invoice merge field, and more.

Invoice Field Information

If you check the box to Include Invoice field with no information, under Setup > Invoice Settings > Invoice Print Settings, it will display merge field in Invoice template as $0.00 if there is no data available. This will ensure that financial reports remain transparent.

New Invoice Merge Field

With the new merge field for invoice templates, users will be able to see the following columns:

• Date
• Description
• Timekeeper Initial
• Hours
• Amount

Fixes

• While importing a QBO file if there is an error in the upload system will provide a specific reason in the error message.
• User can add/edit deposit slip without any error.
• User will be able to edit calendar event or task without getting any error.

Fixes

We have fixed a few issues in the application.

• Firm email address will now receive an email notification when client downloads an invoice using invoice link if they have enabled Send Invoice Download Notification to the Firm’s Email Address under Setup > Firm Settings > Invoice Settings > Invoice delivery option.

• Users will be able to see the key for the Top 5 Clients graph in the widget on the firm dashboard.

• Users will be able to select specific pages for custom export in the Recent Activities dashboard.
