SCIM groups sync has now entered open Beta

Jira integration improvements

• Added support for mapping Jira Team field to airfocus single-select field (2-way).
• The Jira item key (ex: AAA-1) now consistently shows in all view types when users show the integration field in their view.

Added support for more Azure DevOps mapping, including: area path (2-way), area name (1-way) and iteration path (2-way).

Duplicate document detection

If you have more than five duplicate documents in your personal workspace, a new cleanup option will show on the Lucid Home Page. You can review the documents and determine whether you’d like to move them to trash or keep them in your workspace. Learn more.

Document publication update

When a user publishes a new document in a repository, the document is directly moved in rather than copied. Learn more.

Draft publication update

Any drafts created with the "suggest edits" button will be deleted once the draft is published in the repository. Published drafts will also be required to have a unique name. Learn more.

Organizational chart detection

If you’re building an org chart manually, after five shapes have been added with names and titles, Lucid will detect that activity and prompt you to switch to our org chart shape, offering more specific features and views to assist you in developing your diagram. Learn more.

ERD enhancements

Skip adding data tables to your Lucidchart document one by one. Instead, automatically create an entity-relationship diagram by dragging and dropping your entire imported database onto the canvas to generate an organized ERD with all tables and relationships. Learn more.

Ability to exclude multiple groups for group sync with SCIM for organizational groups

To support unique membership in organizational groups, admins can exclude specific identity provider (IdP) groups via SCIM sync. Excluded groups won't be created in Lucid or assigned to users, though users will still be provisioned and added to other valid groups. This is helpful when users belong to broad groups like "all company users" but should only be assigned to a specific licensing group (e.g., IT) in Lucid. Learn more for Okta and Entra ID.

Control Accelerator manager permissions through the admin panel

Admins can utilize the “Add-ons” tab to manage Accelerator managers (i.e., Agile managers, Cloud managers, etc.). Learn more.

Self-serve SCIM for organizational groups

Accounts no longer have to contact support to request that SCIM be enabled for their account. Admins can now enable SCIM for org groups from their admin panel. Learn more for Okta and Entra ID.

Updated footer

The new footer is simplified to make the most used features more prominent and easier to access. You’ll see a facelift for pages, while features like layers and selected objects have moved to the left side of the footer. Learn more.

Database import and export for ERD

Lucid has expanded ERD support to include Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, Azure SQL Database, and Google BigQuery. Quickly import database schemas, and automatically visualize tables and their relationships. Learn more.
