Localizations — Added missing localized strings in the Inspectors and Sidebar.

Mac

Multiple Window Support — When column sorting is enabled, rows immediately sort in all windows as new rows are added.

Multiple Window Support — The current window remains active when saving.

Pasting Support — Pasted data will attempt to convert to a compatible value for the column type.

Image Attachments — Image attachments display with the correct resolution when scaled.

Image Attachments — Image attachments display with the correct resolution at all zoom levels.

Localizations — “Highlight 1”, “Highlight 2”, and “Highlight 3” are translated in applicable templates.

Quick Look — Corrected display name of the Quick Look preview generator.

Scroll Bar — The Inspector does not cover the outline view scroll bar when visible.

Paste with Original Style — “Paste with Original Style” works when the clipboard contains a URL or image.

Omni Crash Catcher — Fixed compatibility with newer macOS versions.

Localizations — OmniOutliner 6 has been updated for German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, and Simplified Chinese.

Styles (PRO) — Styles that match the value it already inherits can now be explicitly set on that element. For example, Named Styles can now specify 12pt text and a row can explicitly be set to blue when the Whole Document style already specifies that same color.

Apple Vision Pro

Omni Links — Selecting ‘Copy Omni Link’ from the filename menu does not hang when a Connected Folder needs to be added for the current document.

Omni Links — Fixed a crash that could occur when the app is launched through an Omni Link.

Omni Links — When an Omni Link that specifies a specific row is used from a different window or app, the target row(s) are selected.

All Platforms

Omni Automation (PRO) — The Omni Automation menu is now always available from the overflow toolbar button. It is still available to be added to the iPad toolbar for even quicker access.

iPad Menus — ‘Connected Folders’, ‘About OmniOutliner’, and ‘License’ has been added to the OmniOutliner iPad menu bar.

Stability (PRO) — Fixed a crash pasting text that parses into multiple columns when the document contains non-Rich Text Columns.

Color Picker — Fixed a hang that could occur when using the system color picker to set a color.

Free Viewer Mode — When launching into the Free Viewer Mode with no documents being restored, the first run UI appears to make the licensing state obvious.

Named Styles (PRO) — Named Styles can be applied to the selected text by clicking the checkbox for it when an Omni Automation Plug-In has been added to the toolbar.

Open Panel — Open panel is now presented when OmniOutliner launches with no documents to restore.

Open Panel — Added a New Document button to the Open panel.

Sections List — Reordering in the Sections List works reliably.

• iCloud Drive Syncing — Added sync conflict resolution for iCloud Drive syncing. Select the version to keep or save copies of every version to review.

• Closing Documents — Fixed the blank screen appearing when closing a document. This was happening when an unresolved sync conflict existed.

• Notes — Fixed note text displaying with the wrong indentation after changing the style of the row.

• Image Attachments — Restored the Preview option to Quick Look image attachments.

• Styles — Fixed text color changes made through the system Format panel not correctly saving when using the Light Color Palette.

• Licensing — App remains licensed on launch when an internet connection is not available.

• Filtering — Fixed the Refresh Filter option.

• Inspector — Inspector visibility does not change when Undo is used.

Apple Vision Pro

• iCloud Drive Syncing — Added sync conflict resolution for iCloud Drive syncing. Select the version to keep or save copies of every version to review.

• Closing Documents — Fixed the blank screen bug when closing a document. This was caused by an unresolved sync conflict existing.
• Outline View — Fixed a situation where the Outline View briefly displays no content when expanding or collapsing groups.
• Image Attachments — Restored Preview option to Quick Look image attachments.
• Keyboard Shortcuts — Copy, Paste, and Duplicate keyboard shortcuts work for the selected rows.

Mac

• Localizations — Removed outdated localizations that referenced the Resource Browser. Localization updates are in progress.
• Filtering — Hiding the filter field unapplies the filter but retains the search term for next time.
• Styles — Duplicating a row preserves all custom set style attributes.
• RTF — Fixed the RTF representation added to the pasteboard.
• Outline View — Scroll position is retained when moving the cursor to a Checkbox Column cell.
• Sorting — Sorting correctly takes column summary values into account.
