• Requires visionOS 26
• Templates — Fixed minor style and content bugs in the Classic with Level Styles, Class Notes, Arctic Blue Theme, and Modern Theme templates.

Apple Vision Pro

• General — Added an Open… action to the document title menu and an Open in New Window action to shortcut menu in the document browser making it easier to have multiple documents open at once.
• Editor State — The Sidebar and Inspector visibility state is saved and restored separately from other platforms.
• Stability — Fixed a crash setting up the toolbar for a document.
• Stability — Fixed a crash on newer visionOS versions when the app launches due to using an Omni Link.
• General — Documents can be opened from any folder location without needing to be added as a Connected Folder.
• Grouping — The Group function can be used on level 1 rows.
• Add Parent — The Add Parent function can be used when a level 1 rows is selected.

• Stability — Fixed a hang on launch with the App Store version.
• Menus — Show Inspector menu item updates to Hide Inspector when appropriate.
• Licensing — The last unlock state is used at launch until the license state check completes.
• Named Styles — Fixed a bug with the Named Styles list not activating correctly when an Omni Automation Plug-In has been added to the toolbar.
• Free Viewer Mode — Open panel appears on launch when in Free Viewer Mode.
• Printing & PDF — Image attachments use their full resolution in print and PDF output.

Apple Vision Pro

• Tooltips — Added tooltips to all toolbar and ornament buttons.
• Column Headers — When Column Headers are set to Automatic display mode they will immediately show or hide when appropriate.
• Document Browser — The Document Browser automatically closes when opening a document and reappears when closing a document.
• UI — The applied Filter or Focus scope text uses the appropriate color with the Light Color Palette.
• Columns — Added the Autosize setting to the Column Inspector for the outline column.
• Attachments — The Record Audio option requires a Pro license.
• Menu & Keyboard Shortcuts — Focus and Unfocus options require a Pro license.

• Menu & Keyboard Shortcuts — Added View > Unfocus with a shortcut of option-shift-command-F.
• Menu & Keyboard Shortcuts — Added Automation > Manage Plug-Ins with a shortcut of control-option-command-,.
• In-App Purchase — The link to upgrade to Pro from the export format view successfully presents the In-App Purchase options.
• Column Headers — Selecting Edit from the Column Headers shortcut menu opens the Inspector to that Column’s details.
• Inspectors — Improved the appearance of the header view in the Inspectors when content scrolls behind it.
• Inspectors — Increased the tap target for multiple style attribute buttons.

• Tooltips — Added a tooltip to the Audio Recording toolbar button.
• Templates — Using File > Save as Template will prompt to create a Connected Folder when none are available for Template use.
• Image Resizing — Image resizing will end if a drag of the attachment is started.
• Named Styles — Named Styles applied to runs of text display the correct font color when changed.
• Licensing — The Welcome UI no longer shows on every launch when the app is unlocked by an In-App Purchase but not signed into an Omni Account.
• Multiple Windows — The Theme Picker appears for the window it was summoned from.
• Links — When Edit > Link is used with no selection, the title field is first selected.
• Trial Alert — Clicks on the trial alert do not pass through to the outline view behind it.
• License Window — The License window is not allowed to go full screen.
• Stability — Fixed a crash when trying to open an invalid URL.

OmniOutliner 6 requires macOS 15 Sequoia, iPadOS 26, iOS 26, or visionOS 26.

Backwards Compatibility: OmniOutliner 6 can be installed and run alongside previous versions of OmniOutliner for Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Outlines created in OmniOutliner 6 can be opened and edited by previous versions of OmniOutliner. New features such as Dynamic Theme style customization and enhanced filter rules will be discarded by previous versions of OmniOutliner.

Document Management — Updated document manager supports quick document creation and seamless iCloud Drive integration.

Document Styling — Advanced document styling features previously only available on Mac are now available on all devices.

Style Attributes Inspector — Use the new Style Attributes Inspector view to see and remove the custom styling affecting your selection.

Notes Span Columns — Row notes can now display across multi-column documents.

Grid Lines — Horizontal and vertical grid lines are now displayed and can be customized on iPad and iPhone.

Row Indentation — Child row indentation can now be turned on or off on iPad and iPhone.

Saved Filters — Saved Filters can now be created and edited on iPad and iPhone.

Attachments — Easily add attachments from your Photo Library, camera, or Files, with the new Attachment button.
