Mac

Open Panel — Open panel is now presented when OmniOutliner launches with no documents to restore.

Open Panel — Added a New Document button to the Open panel.

Sections List — Reordering in the Sections List works reliably.

iPad & iPhone

• iCloud Drive Syncing — Added sync conflict resolution for iCloud Drive syncing. Select the version to keep or save copies of every version to review.

• Closing Documents — Fixed the blank screen appearing when closing a document. This was happening when an unresolved sync conflict existed.

• Notes — Fixed note text displaying with the wrong indentation after changing the style of the row.

• Image Attachments — Restored the Preview option to Quick Look image attachments.

• Styles — Fixed text color changes made through the system Format panel not correctly saving when using the Light Color Palette.

• Licensing — App remains licensed on launch when an internet connection is not available.

• Filtering — Fixed the Refresh Filter option.

• Inspector — Inspector visibility does not change when Undo is used.

Apple Vision Pro

• iCloud Drive Syncing — Added sync conflict resolution for iCloud Drive syncing. Select the version to keep or save copies of every version to review.
• Creating Documents — New files created in folders other than the OmniOutliner directory are saved to that chosen folder.
• Closing Documents — Fixed the blank screen bug when closing a document. This was caused by an unresolved sync conflict existing.
• Outline View — Fixed a situation where the Outline View briefly displays no content when expanding or collapsing groups.
• Image Attachments — Restored Preview option to Quick Look image attachments.
• Keyboard Shortcuts — Copy, Paste, and Duplicate keyboard shortcuts work for the selected rows.
• Licensing — App remains licensed on launch when an internet connection is not available.
• Filtering — Fixed the Refresh Filter option.
• Inspector — Inspector visibility does not change when Undo is used.

Requires macOS 15

Mac

• Localizations — Removed outdated localizations that referenced the Resource Browser. Localization updates are in progress.
• Filtering — Hiding the filter field unapplies the filter but retains the search term for next time.
• Styles — Duplicating a row preserves all custom set style attributes.
• RTF — Fixed the RTF representation added to the pasteboard.
• Outline View — Scroll position is retained when moving the cursor to a Checkbox Column cell.
• Sorting — Sorting correctly takes column summary values into account.

All Platforms

• Templates — Fixed minor style and content bugs in the Classic with Level Styles, Class Notes, Arctic Blue Theme, and Modern Theme templates.

Apple Vision Pro

• General — Added an Open… action to the document title menu and an Open in New Window action to shortcut menu in the document browser making it easier to have multiple documents open at once.
• Editor State — The Sidebar and Inspector visibility state is saved and restored separately from other platforms.
• Stability — Fixed a crash setting up the toolbar for a document.
• Stability — Fixed a crash on newer visionOS versions when the app launches due to using an Omni Link.
• General — Documents can be opened from any folder location without needing to be added as a Connected Folder.
• Grouping — The Group function can be used on level 1 rows.
• Add Parent — The Add Parent function can be used when a level 1 rows is selected.

Templates — Fixed minor style and content bugs in the Classic with Level Styles, Class Notes, Arctic Blue Theme, and Modern Theme templates.

iPad & iPhone

• Editor State — The Sidebar and Inspector visibility state is saved and restored separately from other platforms.

• Stability — Fixed a crash on newer iOS and iPadOS versions when the app launches due to using an Omni Link.
• Grouping — The Group function can be used on level 1 rows.

• Filter and Focus Bar — The menu for the current Focus or Filter state presents from the center of the label.
• Pop-up List Columns — Removed the background fill from behind the search field in the Pop-up List value picker.
• Select Mode — The Select mode bottom buttons are accessible after selecting multiple rows.
• Inspector — The Column Inspector always inspects the chosen Column.

• Templates — Fixed minor style and content bugs in the Classic with Level Styles, Class Notes, Arctic Blue Theme, and Modern Theme templates.

Mac

• Stability — Fixed a hang on launch with the App Store version.
• Menus — Show Inspector menu item updates to Hide Inspector when appropriate.
• Licensing — The last unlock state is used at launch until the license state check completes.
• Named Styles — Fixed a bug with the Named Styles list not activating correctly when an Omni Automation Plug-In has been added to the toolbar.
• Free Viewer Mode — Open panel appears on launch when in Free Viewer Mode.
• Printing & PDF — Image attachments use their full resolution in print and PDF output.
