26.9.1

Pasting or dropping a Markdown file into the note edit panel now asks whether
to add it as a new note or insert it as an attachment
(for #3721)

Added a Username field to the LanguageTool settings so LanguageTool Premium
accounts, which authenticate with a username and API key together, can be used
for grammar and style checking (for #3718, thank you @gregoreficint)

Text inside code blocks, inline code, bold, italic and link text can now be
selected with the mouse in the note preview panel, instead of only being
selectable by dragging over the surrounding text

Added an Insert footnote action to the Edit menu and the note editor context menu that inserts a footnote reference with the next free number at the current cursor position, adds the footnote definition at the end of the note, and jumps there to enter the footnote text (for #3714)

The Joplin importer now preserves notes' original modification dates, allowing imported notes to be sorted by their actual update time
