Android Automotive OS 12 update enables Google Automotive Services, adds a new Messages app and mic indicator, auto heater with remote start for older cars, Range app tweaks, offline road sign support, a center-profile button, and CarPlay/Bluetooth improvements.
Note: Software update should not be installed whilst the vehicle is charging, as this will interrupt the charging.
Please schedule your software update for when charging is complete- Android Automotive OS 12.

- New Messages application, where the user can interact with some of the latest received messages directly on the screen, as a complement to the Voice assistant messenger functionality.

- Range App improvements: “Medium consumption” added to existing consumption meters.
