• Sync — App states which transitorily block sync are no longer incorrectly reported as continuing to block sync.
• Sync — Fixed a bug that could cause sync to silently fail after creating items via the Share sheet.
• VoiceOver — Improved VoiceOver rotor reliability on iOS and iPadOS 26.
• VoiceOver — VoiceOver no longer reads navigation bar button labels more than once.

• Stability — Fixed a crash that could occur when navigating to a perspective via Quick Open.

• New items are no longer created in unexpected locations after navigating via arrow keys.

• Quick Open results can now be opened via cursor.

OmniFocus 4.8.5 is a minor update focused on bug fixes.

• Repeats — Repeat rules can now be cleared in rare instances in which the previously configured repeat schedule is corrupted.

• Focus — Focus bar now lays out correctly after Focus is applied.
• Search — Improved reliability of selecting “Show in Projects” or “Show in Tags” for an item returned in Search results.

• Navigation Bar — Fixed a bug that could sometimes block re-expanding the Navigation Bar when tapping the current perspective icon.

• Perspectives Bar — Perspectives Bar is now always scrollable (this change avoids a bug in which tap targets could become misaligned in the Perspectives Bar).
• Keyboard — Corrected position of hardware keyboard selection highlight on iPadOS 26.

• Notes — Link labels are no longer modified when editing at the start or end of a paragraph.
• Notes — Paste and Merge Style now correctly strips styles from copied HTML text.
• Notes — “Send to Inbox” clipping service no longer captures text with unreadable colors in Dark Mode.
• OS Compatibility — Two-factor authentication codes are no longer offered as autofill optons within OmniFocus.
• Outline — Columns layouts now respect “Show full item title: When Selected” appearance setting.
