You can now use 1Password for Claude to let Claude sign in to websites on your behalf. After you approve each request, 1Password fills your login or one-time code without sharing your credentials with Claude.

You can now use 1Password as a macOS AutoFill provider to natively fill and save credentials in Safari and other apps.

We’ve fixed an issue where unsaved changes could be lost while editing an item type created with a custom template.

We now show a clear error message if you try to move or duplicate an item with a custom icon when file storage is disabled by an admin policy.

You can now run a local MCP server from the Developer tab, allowing AI assistants to access 1Password Developer tools.

Developer Watchtower descriptions on the Developer homepage and in Watchtower now mention scanning for plaintext secrets, including .env files and SSH keys.

When a device’s location can’t be determined during sign-in or setup, “Unknown location” is now shown without an IP address.

Confirmation prompts now say “app” or “browser” instead of “device” when linking another 1Password app or browser to your account.

The “Clear keyboard shortcut” button in Settings > General > Keyboard Shortcuts now has an improved label for screen readers.

1Password CLI, 1Password SDKs, and the integration with MCP clients are now grouped into a single section in Settings > Developer.

The Developer Watchtower page will now properly refresh when you turn .env file scanning on or off.
