1Password for Claude can now sign in with logins set up to use supported sign-in providers.

We’ve fixed an issue where the 1Password browser extension wouldn’t sync properly after you switched to SSO if it was enforced by your administrator, assuming the browser extension was connected to the 1Password app.

We’ve fixed an issue where the 1Password browser extension pop-up could crash if you filtered your list of vaults in the Accounts & Vaults menu.

We’ve fixed an issue where 1Password would offer to save a login from email address fields on some newsletter and marketing forms.

We’ve fixed an issue where the 1Password browser extension wouldn’t properly enforce applied policies when you first signed in or after you reset it and signed back in.

You can now use 1Password for Claude to let Claude sign in to websites on your behalf. After you approve each request, 1Password fills your login or one-time code without sharing your credentials with Claude.

You can now choose whether 1Password offers to save API credentials for shell plugins in Settings > Autofill & save. Saving shell plugin credentials now uses the same autosave notification as other logins.

If you try to paste your Secret Key for your 1Password account into a website, 1Password now blocks the paste and opens the extension to help protect your account.

We’ve fixed an issue where you could be asked to sign in multiple times after changing your account password.

1Password now prevents automatic sign-in to 1Password.com during an Agentic Mode session.

The phishing warning settings have moved to Settings > Security & privacy > Phishing prevention, and there’s now a separate setting for the popup phishing warning.

When you select “Hide on this page”, all other 1Password notifications are now hidden on that page too, except Device Trust notifications.

Notifications that offer to save a login or passkey now use a question instead of a statement (for example, “Save login?”) so it’s clearer you can save or dismiss it.

We’ve fixed an issue where suggested item titles could be shortened when the site name ended with text that looked like a domain extension, such as “Intercom” becoming “Inter”.

We’ve fixed an issue where the browser extension could show a blank tab instead of an error page.

In the General settings, the button to add an account now reads “Sign in” when no accounts have been added yet.

During SSO account migration, the desktop app now comes to the front only if that account is already set up in the desktop app.

In Safari, pressing the down arrow in a field now focuses the first suggestion in the inline menu.

If you haven’t set up 1Password, and you click the 1Password icon in your browser’s toolbar, you’ll now always be taken to the welcome screen in that same window.

You’ll see a migration banner in the extension if your account is being moved out of a family account into your own. The banner will guide you to sign in on 1Password.com to complete the process, including helpful links to continue or learn more.

Passkey filling and passkey saving are now separate settings, so administrators can enforce each one independently.

The 1Password browser extension for Safari now shows a message to people using Safari versions earlier than 18.6 that Safari 18 or later will soon be required to receive extension updates.

In 1Password Business, administrators can now control the item categories that team members are allowed to autofill. Sign in on 1Password.com, then navigate to Policies > Sharing and permissions > Autofill access to control this policy.

We’ve added settings that let you choose which item types appear as autofill suggestions in the inline menu.

The setting to save items in the inline menu is now turned off by default.

We’ve made visual improvements the inline menu.

We’ve reorganized the Autofill settings for easier navigation.

The inline menu will now automatically hide when you’ve filtered all possible options by typing in a field.
