1Password Browser Release Notes

Localization has been improved for a number of our supported languages using new translations from Crowdin.

You now see a reminder notification in the 1Password pop-up to help you review your security settings.

We’ve fixed an issue where item suggestions wouldn’t filter correctly when you typed in a field on Safari Technology Preview.

We’ve fixed an issue where the “Save passkey” notification could incorrectly appear on certain websites.

We’ve fixed an issue where the “Save in 1Password” prompt could incorrectly appear on qbo.intuit.com.

We’ve fixed an issue where the “Account Menu” tooltip could incorrectly appear after you closed the account menu panel.

We’ve removed the hamburger menu from the toolbar in the 1Password pop-up. Notifications and options such as "Lock 1Password" and "Settings" are now available in a side panel, which you can open from the account menu in the top left of the pop-up.

We’ve made improvements to how 1Password interacts in form fields in the upcoming releases of Safari.

The correct prompt now appears when reauthenticating 1Password accounts with Duo MFA in the browser extension.

We’ve fixed an issue where the "Save passkey" prompt appeared unexpectedly on certain websites.

If you use 1Password Enterprise Password Manager and 1Password Device Trust, we've added a new Kolide Device Trust Check that allows admins to require you to have the 1Password browser extension downloaded on your default browser. We've added the message "1Password wants to fill your credit card details on [website name]" to the authorization prompt to fill credit card details. Localization has been improved for a number of our supported languages using new translations from Crowdin. We've fixed an issue where 1Password wouldn't offer to save a passkey on some websites, and instead your browser offered to save the passkey. If your account uses multi-factor authentication and you select Offline, you'll now see the message: "Offline. Changes won't appear on your other devices until you sign in with 1Password in the browser". We've fixed a visual issue where notification titles weren't wrapping correctly.

Localization

• Localization has been improved for a number of our supported languages using new translations from Crowdin.

Passkeys

• Passkeys now work for related URLs and subdomains. For example, if you have a passkey saved for facebook.com, it’ll also work on meta.com.
• We’ve fixed passkey authentication for Google accounts using older passkeys.
• We’ve fixed an issue where trying to sign in with a passkey wouldn’t prompt you to unlock the extension if it was locked.

One-time passwords / Autofill

• One-time passwords now fill on payhoa.com.
• Captcha fields are now ignored by Autofill.

Logins

• Logins are now suggested on ticketmaster.com.
• Usernames are now suggested when signing in to chexsystems.com.

Browser/Extension issues

• We’ve fixed an issue where the 1Password browser extension could become unresponsive in Firefox and cause abnormally high CPU usage.
• We’ve fixed an issue where the tooltips for the “Settings menu”, “New item button”, and “Password generator button” could linger in focus.

Improvements
