• Backups run automatically when your device is idle, and can be limited to Wi-Fi only, paused when the battery is low, and retried automatically if an upload fails.
• You can see your last backup time and status at a glance, with clear per-app information showing exactly what is backed up and what can be restored.

/e/OS Passwords

• A brand-new built-in password manager: save, automatically generate and autofill your passwords across apps and websites.
• An offline cache lets you retrieve your passwords even without a connection, and your vault can be securely backed up and synced.

Voice to Text (offline)

• Murena Voice to Text can now run entirely on your device, so you can dictate without an internet connection. The language model is downloaded on demand. Now available to all users - no premium account required.

App Lounge

• App updates are fetched faster and with fewer network calls for a smoother experience.

Browser

• Autofill is now enabled by default so it works seamlessly with the new /e/OS Passwords manager.

Camera

• On the Gigaset GS6/GS6 Pro, the camera can now capture full-resolution 64 MP photos.

• ⚠️ Back up your data before upgrading from AOSP 12 to AOSP 15. The device will indeed factory reset during the upgrade due to a change in the encryption method.

🛍️ App Lounge

• App download and installation flow improved with better error handling and code organization.
• Support for shared libraries added during application installations.
• Chrome is now supported on /e/OS and has been removed from the blacklisted app list.

🌐 Browser

• Autofill functionality is now enabled by default to seamlessly integrate with a password manager.

🔢 Calculator

• Adjusted the interface design to properly accommodate the new Clear button.
• Calculator now has a new icon

🌅 BlissLauncher

• Introduced a new set of brand new wallpapers and a couple of new icons!

🦸 Third Party Apps support

• Apps that support GMS-free devices can now run on /e/OS thanks to a new option to hide microG from selected third-party apps. This should help apps like Swisscard and BoursoBank.

🕙 Software updates

• ➕ /e/OS Browser has been updated to version 148.0.7778.178.
• ➕ microG has been updated to its latest upstream version 0.3.15.
• ➕ LineageOS 22.2 latest bug fixes and security updates are part of this new /e/OS version (lineage-22.2 and main)

🛍️ App Lounge

• Fixed an issue with the "Update all" button failing if the screen changed during the process.
• App updates no longer get stuck or skipped when many updates are available simultaneously.
• Fixed a bug where App Lounge would sometimes reinstall an old version of an app instead of the latest one.
• Fixed an issue preventing the MicroG re-login process from working properly.
• Fixed the Updates list auto-scrolling to the top during an update.

👤 Account Manager

• Fixed an issue where Murena Workspace would sometimes get logged out after the initial login.

🕗 Clock

• Fixed the Clock app icons displaying the wrong color in the system notification panel.

📷 Camera

• Fixed a bug on some devices where switching between front and back cameras would cycle through the wrong lenses.

⚠️ Security fixes
