[Fathom Beta] Configure Slack Huddle recording preferences

the Settings page now has a section under the Video Conferencing header to set an auto-capture preference for impromptu Slack Huddles.

Send test webhooks - pressing the Send Test Payload button on the API key configuration page will fire off a test from the user's meetings.

Shared With field in the API

The Fathom API now includes a shared_with field for meetings indicating whether it is shared with no_teams, single_team, multiple_teams, or all_teams. Learn more.

[Fathom Beta] Short summaries in Desktop App - the My Meetings view in the Desktop App now displays short summaries of recordings to give more context before viewing an individual meeting.

Meeting URL in the API

the Fathom API now returns a meeting_url field on meeting responses and in webhook payloads.

Highlights in the API

you can now pull meeting highlights through the API by adding include_highlights=true to your /meetings request. The response includes a highlights field for each meeting with the highlight type, a summary of what was captured, and when it happened in the meeting. Learn more.

[Fathom Beta] Change recording mode

When you click Cancel while a bot is joining a call, you're now taken back to the pre-call window instead of only stopping the bot. This allows you to change your capture mode before rejoining if you choose to capture the recording with Fathom.

Meeting types in the API

[Fathom Beta] Botless video recording

We've enabled a botless video recording option for Zoom for all users on the Fathom beta.

Team Calls page update - the Team Calls dropdown now includes any team a user has been granted access to through their View Access permissions.

Ask Fathom model upgrade - most Ask Fathom models (single-meeting chat and multi-call surfaces like folders, deals, and team/company views) have been upgraded to our latest and greatest. Ask Fathom is now also aware of who you are, so prompts like "draft a follow-up email" will write from you using your name and company.

[TE] Team invite email during self-service trial onboarding

When a Team Admin invites new users during a self-service team trial onboarding, those users now receive a team invite email instead of the generic sign-up email. Once they sign up, they're taken directly to the team invitation screen.

[Fathom Beta] Recording indicator in MacOS toolbar - based on your capture mode, you'll see indications of recording and paused states in the toolbar, matching our previous Desktop App experience.

Chronological summary deprecated - the General/Enhanced AI Summary template is now available to all users, including Free users. Chronological templates have been removed and replaced with this more advanced one.

If you previously had Chronological set as your default template in user preferences, or applied to a Meeting Type, it's been automatically switched to General/Enhanced.
