    Updates In Software Version P4.2.5

Aimed at driving ease and reliability, this release brings stability improvements, a new edit button for the Favorites app and Shortcuts widget, and a dismissible speed limit warning. ADAS gets a major upgrade with Pilot Assist lateral control, lane keeping options, higher speed support, smootherACC

    • Center display stability improvements
    • Edit button now added to the Favorites app and Shortcuts widget
      • Previously, the widget could only be edited by holding and pressing the app or shortcut you wanted to edit. An edit button has now been added to the top right corner of the widget.
    • Speed limit warning turned off. Function now includes a dismiss button to allow the driver to actively dismiss the notification
    • A/C climate calibration improvements
    • Parking sensors are now deactivated when Car Wash mode is active
    • General stability improvements

    ADAS improvements

    • Pilot Assist now uses a new AI-based method for lateral control, following the drive path within the lane instead of just the center. The steering control will now handle road curves in a more natural manner.
      • This does not reduce the driver's responsibility to operate the vehicle as safely as possible.
    • Lane Keeping Aid now improved to include a setting for steering wheel vibrations only
      • Previously the Lane Keeping Aid system only offer ON and OFF settings, with the ON setting using both steering interventions and vibrations. You can now select "vibrations only" or "vibrations and steering interventions" when selecting ON. Please note that steering interventions will still be active for solid road lines and edges.
    • Pilot Assist now works at speeds up to 150 km/h. If your speed exceeds 150 km/h while using Pilot Assist, lateral control will automatically resume when the speed drops below 150 km/h
    • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) now works at speeds up to 180 km/h
    • Tuning improvements to ACC and Pilot Assist to provide a smoother acceleration and braking experience
    • Pilot Assist improved to avoid unnecessary brake interventions while driving.
    • “Driver Not Detected” warning system improved to reduce the number of false alerts

    Updates in Software Version P4.2.4

A product-focused update introducing a dozen new in-car apps usable when parked via Google Built-in, plus changes to driver profiling so the driver’s profile is selected when the driver’s door opens if a key is connected. It also revises default profile behavior, adds more functions to the favorites

    • Launch of a dozen new apps through Google Built‑in, all of which can be enjoyed while the vehicle is parked. Check out the full list of apps in the Google Play Store.

    • The driver’s profile will now be selected when the driver’s door is opened, even when the passenger door has already been unlocked and opened by another key. The driver’s profile needs to have a key already connected for this to function.

      • Previously, the vehicle would always default to whichever profile’s key opened the vehicle first, not to the driver entering the vehicle.
    • More functions have now been added to the favorites shortcut

    Updates In Software Version P4.2.2

Climate and comfort: fewer condensation issues and better airflow. Battery pre-conditioning now targets an arrival SOC of 7% (down from 22%), with destination-to-DC charger requirement. ACC and Pilot Assist now keep your set speed when switching between modes. New instrument panel alert for driver‑d

    • Climate system performance improved, reducing the likelihood of condensation on the windows and improving airflow

    • Battery pre-conditioning improvements: minimum estimated state of charge at arrival now reduced from 22% to 7%. Battery pre-conditioning requires a destination to a DC charger to be set.

    • Improvements when toggling between Adaptive Cruise Control and Pilot Assist functions. Your set speed now remains when switching between ACC and PA instead of using the current speed limit as a target speed.

    • Introduction of an instrument panel message alerting you when the driver alert system is temporarily unavailable. This may occur if, for example, you cover parts of your face during driving, and the system cannot detect you.

    • Climate system improved to avoid issue with automatic steering wheel heating not activating at low temperatures.

    • General stability improvements.
