Release highlights

Automation Cloud Administration and Test Cloud Administration

• Relay access is now controlled by dedicated Relay permissions instead of administrator group membership, so Tenant Administrators can manage Relay Groups without an Organization Administrator role. Custom roles that granted Relay visibility through the Centralized Access Administration page permission must now include Relay > Relay group > View (breaking change).
• Relay now supports TCP-based connections to on-premises systems, starting with SAP BAPI, through an on-prem executor. Container deployments of the Relay client (Docker and Podman) are supported as of September 10, 2026.
• Deleting a Relay Group now immediately stops all Relay clients connected to it, with no drain period.
• The platform API now returns per-tenant robot runtime allocation and usage, and a per-tenant consumption breakdown by process.

Agents

• UiPath Agents in Flow is now generally available. You configure the agent's system prompt, model, schemas, and tools directly on the Flow canvas, and you can chain multiple agents in a single flow.
• You can now build conversational chat agents and real-time voice agents as a Maestro Flow.
• The LLM as Judge guardrail is available in preview. It uses an LLM to evaluate agent prompts, responses, or LLM calls against instructions that you write in natural language.
• Agent design policies in the Studio Web governance policy are now generally available.

Automation Hub

• You can now upload Markdown (.md) process documents and preview them in the document viewer. Custom roles can also be granted view-only access to the Users and User Roles pages.

Automation Ops

• Agent design policies in the Studio Web governance policy are now generally available. They enforce a minimum agent score, a maximum temperature range, maximum tokens per response, human-in-the-loop escalation, and a maximum number of iterations per agent execution.
• The AI Trust Layer policy adds Enable Context Grounding and Enable LLM as Judge guardrail product toggles, both set to Yes by default.

Data Fabric

• You can now model Data Fabric entities inline in VS Code, in preview, using a new Data Fabric Entity project type. Four new Maestro Flow nodes (Query, Create, Update, and Delete entity record) consume these entities without an Integration Service connection.

Integration Service

• You can now call the Integration Service API from a registered external application using OAuth 2.0.
• Connector Builder adds a Global Scripts tab for JavaScript that runs before and after every request a custom connector makes.
• The Snowflake connector adds Microsoft Entra ID authentication, and the Database Hub connector can now connect to Databricks Lakebase.
• The Coupa connector adds a Requisition Comment Added trigger.
• The Microsoft Azure OpenAI connection form now takes the full endpoint URL instead of the resource name.
• Connector search now matches tags and descriptions in addition to names.

IXP

• Bring your own subscription (BYOS) is available in preview, letting Unstructured and Complex Documents projects run on your own Gemini or GPT subscriptions, with discounted consumption rates for projects that run entirely on them.
• Requests from the United Kingdom region for the Gemini 2.5 Flash model now stay in the United Kingdom.

Maestro

• Evaluations for Maestro BPMN are available in preview, letting you group expected outcomes into evaluation sets and score each run with deterministic or LLM-judge evaluators.
• In Maestro Case, the Case Manager Agent (preview) can make orchestration decisions for events that your deterministic rules don't cover, and you can build a case with a coding agent of your choice (preview).
• Maestro Flow Autonomous Agent nodes gain richer MCP tool controls and a Refresh schema before call toggle that keeps tool schemas up to date.
• The v3 CaseApp API adds endpoints to close a case instance and to trigger ad hoc tasks, with an optional taskInput payload.

Orchestrator

• AWS Secrets Manager can now be integrated as a credential store through an Integration Service connection, which supports IAM role-based authentication.
• Orchestrator Credentials Proxy 2.2.2 updates the framework to .NET 10.0.11 and adds Delinea Secret Server as a read-only credential store. Install the .NET 10 Hosting Bundle before you upgrade.
• The Solution deployments, Processes, and Resources registry pages add a Group by option, and the Resources and Processes pages add Labels and Properties columns.

Studio Web

• You can now organize the projects in a solution into nested folders from the Solution Explorer.
• Local debug sessions now upload only the files that changed since the last session, so they start faster.

Test Manager

• Playwright test automation is available in controlled availability to eligible tenants, letting Test Manager run test cases backed by existing Playwright suites (Test Cloud delivery only).
• The UiPath Test Manager connector in Integration Service adds seven activities, including Create Test Step, Get Requirements, and Get Test Cases.
• The requirement details page is redesigned, and the Logs tab of a test execution adds a full-message pop-up with a Copy message button, message search, and a Level filter.

Supply Chain & Retail Solutions: Inventory Management

• Rows whose only problem is an unresolved foreign-key reference are now kept in the destination table and flagged, and a new async_foreign_key validation clears the flag once the parent row is loaded, so tables no longer have to be ingested parent-before-child.

Supply Chain & Retail Solutions: Commercial Pricing, Inventory Management, and Merchandising

• Foreign-key checks now report to the Data Quality Dashboard, with a new FK validation issue rows panel and an Async foreign-key checks panel.

• The Microsoft Entra ID directory integration now supports the Delegated and app-only access scope and the Use cached user tokens for group membership checks option, extending group membership evaluation to unattended automations and service-to-service scenarios.

Integration Service

Automation Cloud Dedicated Admin / Test Cloud Dedicated Admin

• Organization Administrators can now use the Check access API to retrieve effective access for a user, group, or external application across the organization, including tenant-level assignments from every active tenant.

Orchestrator

• Orchestrator now supports multiple NuGet feeds, npm registries, and PyPI indexes instead of a single feed per category.
• The per-queue monitoring dashboard adds a Queue item failures by reason widget, and the Start job dialog lets you pin the Execution settings panel open.
• You can set the maximum job recording duration, up to 15 minutes on the Enterprise plan (Unified Pricing) or the Advanced plan (Flex), and the Job state history timeline now shows why a job was stopped.

Studio Web

• You can now open a solution in read-only mode and share a solution with read-only access without granting edit permissions.
• You now receive a notification when someone shares a solution with you.

Test Manager

• The manual execution assistant now shows the test case description above Precondition, and Excel export of requirements and test cases is now asynchronous with one column per custom field.
• The iText PDF library dependency was removed: reading PDF attachments in the cloud is now text-only, and image extraction from PDF attachments is no longer supported (breaking change).

Medical Record Summarization

Added September 10, 2026: Medical Record Summarization added a Policy Engine, letting you turn a written policy document into a decision model the solution applies to clinical records, returning an outcome, confidence rating, rationale, and per-criterion breakdown. This feature was released on August 20, 2026 but was not included in the release notes at the time. See About policies for details.

Automation Cloud Administration and Test Cloud Administration

• In-app notification retention is now limited to 30 days; older notifications are no longer available regardless of topic. This is rolling out progressively across regions and applies to cloud environments only.
• Administrators can now grant more than one AI and Agentic usage top-up to a user in a single action from the User usage dashboard, with each top-up recorded as its own consumption event.

Action Center

• A one-time Microsoft Entra admin consent is required by August 26, 2026 for actionable notifications in Outlook to keep working, following Microsoft's move away from legacy authentication for Actionable Messages.
• The Validation Station compact view adds a filter bar to search and hide fields by state (confirmed, not extracted, no flagged issues).
• Quick Form tasks are now available in public preview, letting you add human-in-the-loop tasks to any process (Maestro BPMN, Case Management, Flow, or Agents) without building or deploying an app, including inline debug support.

Agents

• Agents can now retain and reuse what they learned from past executions (episodic memory) and past escalation resolutions (escalation memory), available in preview.
• Conversational agents now support personal connections in public preview, letting individual users choose which of their own Integration Service connections an agent uses on their behalf.

Integration Service

• The Snowflake Cortex connector adds two new authentication methods (OAuth 2.0 Authorization code and Client credentials) alongside the existing Programmatic Access Token.
• The Microsoft Azure AI Foundry connector adds an Invoke Agent activity for agents created in the Azure AI Foundry portal.
• The MCP connector is now generally available.

Maestro

• Maestro Flow's Autonomous Agent nodes gain richer MCP tool controls: per-argument descriptions, full input/output schema view, and a Refresh tools action that can pull tools live from Agent Hub.
• Two new BPMN activities, Get queue items and Wait for queue event, support read-only queries and blocking waits against Orchestrator queues.

Process Mining

• The UiPath data extractor data-loading option has been removed due to low adoption; use one of the other supported data-loading options instead.

Studio Web

• You can now open a solution in read-only mode, and share a solution with read-only access without granting edit permissions.
• Deploy is now the primary toolbar action for packaging and deploying a solution in one guided flow; Publish moved to the dropdown.

Test Manager

• Performance Testing adds per-scenario report comparisons, dry-run probe timeline data in production, and asynchronous Excel export with per-custom-field columns.
• Autonomous Test Execution and Autonomous Exploration runs can now target a specific runtime, robot account, and machine template via a new Configure tab, instead of always auto-selecting an available runtime.
• The iText PDF library dependency was removed: reading PDF attachments in the cloud is now text-only, and image extraction from PDF attachments is no longer supported (breaking change).

IXP

• A new Layout model intelligent pre-processing option is available in preview for Unstructured and Complex Documents projects.

Loan Origination

Added September 10, 2026: The Loan Origination Solution entered Controlled General Availability (CGA), automating loan analysis and risk assessment (Loan Setup) and document validation across pre-funding and post-closing stages (Quality Control). This feature was released on August 7, 2026 but was not included in the release notes at the time. Both capabilities moved to full general availability on August 12, 2026, also not included in the release notes at the time. See About Loan Origination Solution for details.

Automation Cloud Administration and Test Cloud Administration

• User licenses now include a single monthly AI and Agentic usage pool shared across Autopilot, Agent Development, ScreenPlay Development, Conversational Agents, and Autopilot for Everyone, replacing the separate per-product AI entitlements. Administrators grant top-ups and monitor per-user usage from Admin > Licenses > Consumables > User usage.
• Transactional Billing is a new charging model for agentic solutions orchestrated by Maestro. It packages a solution run into a single, tiered transaction cost based on a universal consumption unit called an AI Step. Component-based pricing remains available in parallel, and a solution runs under one model or the other. Transactional Billing is available to organizations on Unified Pricing and is enabled per folder.
• SCIM User Sync is now generally available, synchronizing user creation, updates, and deprovisioning between UiPath and Microsoft Entra ID or Okta.
• The Community plan is now available for organizations on Unified Pricing, giving individual developers and builders free access to the UiPath agentic platform.
• The GPT-4o model version gpt-4o-2024-05-13 will be removed from the platform on October 1, 2026, following its retirement by Microsoft. Automations and Bring Your Own (BYO) configurations that use it require migration to GPT-5.1 before the removal date.
• Organization Administrators can now use the Check access API to retrieve effective access for a user, group, or external application across the organization, including tenant-level assignments from every active tenant.
• The Licenses page now warns when a host-level license update no longer includes a unit type that was previously allocated to an organization. The existing allocation is preserved until you de-allocate the unit types that are no longer available. The consumables API key is also hidden by default on the Consumables tab.
• Firewall configuration pages were audited. Apps monitoring, Sentry, and SignalR domains were added, and obsolete or duplicate domains were removed from the Automation Cloud Portal, Action Center, Apps, Data Fabric, Document Understanding, Orchestrator, and Studio Web entries.
• Free organizations that had Legacy User License Management disabled before an Enterprise downgrade now enable User License Management automatically 14 days after the downgrade, unless you upgrade back to Enterprise within that window.

Action Center

• The Actions list replaces the Timer Status filter with a multi-select Due Status filter, covering Due later, Due soon, Overdue, No timer, and Completed in time on the Completed tab. It also adds a Due Time filter and sort, and each action row shows its due status with the completion due date in a tooltip.
• Timers configured with Task assigned as the end criteria no longer appear in the interface. They continue to run, and their configured outcome still triggers when they expire.
• A future release will change the Due soon threshold from 80% of the completion timer duration to a fixed 24 hours remaining. Completion timers shorter than 24 hours will then report Due soon for their entire duration.
• Document Validation and Document Classification actions add a Report a technical issue button. Reports can attach an anonymized copy of the taxonomy and the extraction or classification result, and never capture the document or the text values read from it.
• When a Document Validation action opens in the classic view, the Validation Station now offers to switch to the compact view and back. The choice is remembered per reviewer and browser.
• The document viewer used by Document Validation and Document Classification actions was updated to pick up upstream security fixes, and now requires a more recent browser. In older browsers, the document fails to load and an error is displayed in its place.

Agents

• Agents can now use coded functions as tools. The coded function tool, available in preview, runs custom Python code as a deterministic, process-based tool, so an agent can reason over the structured result.
• Conversational agents support client-side tools, which execute on the user's browser or host application rather than on the UiPath server. This lets agents access client-local data, trigger UI actions, and use device capabilities.
• The gemini-3.5-flash model is now available for Agents.

Automation Hub

• Process Repository process models add a Step Details panel for documenting individual tasks and steps, covering files and links, applications, risks, controls, optimization notes, and the roles responsible for the work. Roles, Risks, and Controls accept values from an existing list or custom values.
• The History tab now records when a process model is created or updated, and identifies the user who made the change.

Automation Ops

• The Azure Repos integration in Source Control is now generally available. You can connect your Azure DevOps organization and manage the source code of automation projects stored in Azure Repos.

Document Understanding

• Customer managed keys (CMK) are now available in Helix Extractor 2.0 and Helix Classifier 1.0.

Integration Service

• Fields that reference an existing file or folder in Microsoft OneDrive or SharePoint now offer an Enter URL option, so you can paste a URL directly instead of browsing for the item or writing an expression.

IXP

• The new IXP Project Creator role grants the Project - Create permission, which lets a user create IXP projects in the tenant without a service or organization administrator role. The user who creates a project becomes project admin of that project automatically.
• Custom roles can now include four tenant-level project permissions: Project - Create, Project - Read, Project - Write, and Project - Delete. Each one applies to every project in the tenant.
• New IXP projects, both Communications Mining and Unstructured and Complex Documents, now include the Administrators group as IXP Project Admin from the moment they are created.
• In Unstructured and Complex Documents projects, importing and exporting taxonomies now requires Dataset - Review instead of Dataset - Write. Dataset - Write now gates updating a project's Model configuration settings.
• Generative AI features in Communications Mining are now recorded in the UiPath AI Trust Layer audit log.
• At the end of a batch in Check label or Missed label training mode, you can now continue with the next messages in the sort order instead of returning to the Train page.

Orchestrator

• Google Cloud Storage is available as a new storage bucket provider, authenticated with a service account key.
• Azure Storage buckets can be authenticated with Integration Service service-principal connections instead of storage-account access keys, so security teams can enforce Entra-based identity and access management policies.
• The default API specification is now the OpenAPI 3.0 Public profile. The previous V20 specification, based on Swagger 2.0, is deprecated as of this release and will be removed in September 2026.
• The tenant-level Jobs view now offers every column available in folder-level Jobs views, including Started/Ended, Creation Time, Source, Priority, Machine, Hostname, User interaction, and Healing Agent status. All added columns are hidden by default.
• Side panels render on top of primary content instead of pushing it aside. They are resizable, keep the chosen width for the session, and leave the underlying grid or list interactive.
• For queue triggers on Maestro processes, Minimum number of items to trigger the first job and Another job is triggered after each are now fixed to 1.
• Automation Cloud Robots - Serverless in the United States delayed update (GxP) region support static IPs. Enable the option in your serverless robot template, then add the corresponding IPs to your allowlist.
• Automation Cloud Robots - Serverless in the Japan region now run redundantly across Japan East and Japan West, which adds outbound IP ranges you must allowlist if you restrict serverless robot traffic. Data residency is unchanged.

Solutions

• The button for abandoning an in-progress deployment is renamed from Delete draft to Cancel. Its confirmation dialog now states that changes will be lost, and offers to save your progress as a draft instead of discarding it.

Test Manager

• Performance Testing adds a Workflow Analyzer that scans an automation before a run starts and flags unsupported activities and Studio version or activity-package mismatches, so problems surface before robot minutes are spent.
• Capacity Planner runs a short series of safe load probes against your actual hardware and extrapolates a data-backed virtual-user recommendation, with guardrails that keep it within limits already proven safe on your infrastructure.
• Elastic Robot Pools generate load from your own Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud capacity instead of shared, multi-tenant infrastructure, scaling load injectors up and down as a test requires.
• When port 5671 is blocked, Performance Testing falls back to WebSocket communication over port 443, and then to API-based metric delivery, so metrics no longer depend on a new firewall rule.
• Robot logs are viewable and filterable, by load group and by severity, directly inside the Performance Testing results screen, alongside application logs.
• Every performance test run generates a dedicated report view for each stakeholder who acts on the result: Program Managers, Developers, InfraOps, and QA/Testers.
• GPT-4o is deprecated in Autopilot, with support ending October 31, 2026. Switch to a supported alternative model in your AI Trust Layer policy before then to avoid disruption to test generation, quality checks, and other Autopilot capabilities.

• Azure Storage buckets can now be authenticated using Integration Service service-principal connections instead of storage-account access keys.
• Side panels now render on top of primary content instead of pushing it aside, and are resizable with a persisted width.
• The default API specification is now OpenAPI 3.0 Public profile; the previous V20/Swagger 2.0 specification is deprecated and will be removed in September 2026.

Task Mining

• Task Mining in Automation Cloud Public Sector is being retired, effective September 1, 2026, to redirect resources toward Delegate - Cartographer.

Test Manager

• The API key for consumable license types, such as AI Units and Platform Units, is now hidden by default on the Consumables tab of the Licenses page. Organization Administrators, License Administrators, and License Viewers can unhide it.

Orchestrator

• The job side panel header now links to the parent process, displaying process details in place of the job side panel.
• Triggers can be created in a disabled state, so you can complete configuration and testing before activating them. This applies to queue, event, and time triggers.
• A serverless machine provisioned with a tenant is now assigned automatically to the default modern folder, instead of requiring manual assignment.
• The job grid shown in a side panel hides the Type and User interaction filters, which do not apply in that context.
• Webhook secrets are no longer displayed in plain text in the interface, and are now hidden by default like other sensitive credential fields.

Test Manager

• GPT-4o is deprecated in Autopilot, with support ending October 31, 2026. Switch to a supported alternative model in your AI Trust Layer policy before then to avoid disruption to test generation, quality checks, and other Autopilot capabilities.

• Local setup for RPA workflow and app project editing is rolling out to Enterprise accounts, with a grace period through February 1, 2027. Maestro Case and Maestro Flow (Preview) project types are now available in Studio Web. Queue support and Base64 file-conversion activities were added for API workflows.

Test Manager

Automation Cloud Administration and Test Cloud Administration

• The Consumables Center is now generally available, giving Organization Administrators a unified, drill-down view of consumption unit allocation and usage from the organization level down to tenants, folders, and processes.
• Model hub in the AI Trust Layer (preview) gives administrators and compliance teams a central view of which LLM providers and models back each product feature across every tenant, with routing region controls, custom model replacement, and configuration history.
• The License Viewer role can now be assigned at the tenant level, giving team leads and business stakeholders read-only access to a single tenant's licensing data without wider visibility.
• Anthropic Claude Sonnet 4 and Claude 3 Haiku are deprecated on the platform, with removal on October 14, 2026 and September 10, 2026 respectively; automations and BYO configurations using these models must migrate to Claude Sonnet 4.6 or Claude Haiku 4.5 before the removal dates.
• The AI Trust Layer audit now records the inputs and outputs of IXP Unstructured and Complex Documents extraction operations.

Agents

• New assignment criteria — Workload, All users in group, Round Robin, and LLM inferred — give more flexible routing options for agent escalations.

Apps

• The Apps API now supports authentication using personal access tokens (PAT), in addition to OAuth-scoped external applications.

Automation Hub

• Administrators can archive and restore categories, create shared option sets reused across assessment questions, display inline assessment answers as a dropdown, and scope Business Areas to ideas, business processes, or both.

Automation Ops

• A new Use Bring Your Own Model only toggle in AI Trust Layer governance policies restricts model usage to custom LLM configurations, hiding UiPath-managed model controls and blocking requests to them.

Document Understanding

• A new artifacts API supports a decoupled validation flow: prepare extraction validation artifacts in Orchestrator Storage Buckets, then use them to create a UiPath App Task for human validation (preview).

Insights

• A data sync issue that caused some Automation Hub KPIs (such as time and cost savings on the Automation ROI Comparison dashboard) to display up to twice their actual value is now fixed; affected values may appear lower going forward, reflecting the corrected figures.

Integration Service

• The Snowflake Cortex connector adds a Run agent without an agent object activity for inline multi-turn conversations, plus generic HTTP Request support for uncovered Cortex API endpoints.

Maestro

• Maestro BPMN processes can now be triggered by and interact with Orchestrator queue items, using a new Queue start event and a set of queue task activities.
• The Flow add-node menu is reorganized: transform and Data Fabric nodes move under a unified Data category, Delay moves to a new Wait for event category, and conversational and voice nodes are grouped under Tool.

Orchestrator

• MCP OAuth flow (public preview): UiPath MCP Servers now include a built-in OAuth proxy so any MCP client implementing the MCP Authorization specification can authenticate automatically, with resource-bound tokens, Client ID Metadata Document support, and a per-organization callback-domain allow list.
• Coded processes running on Serverless Automation Cloud Robots can now call on-premises APIs through Relay.

Solutions

Studio Web

Automation Ops

• From the AI Trust Layer policy, you can enable or disable specific UiPath-managed models at the provider or individual model level, on a per-product basis. You can also control whether newly released models become automatically available.
• You can cap the number of iterations an agent runs before a workflow is published from the Studio Web policy, preventing runaway loops at design time.

Healing Agent

• You can see the reason why Healing Agent has failed by navigating to Robot logs in Orchestrator.

Industry & Department Solutions

• In Supply Chain and Retail solutions, you can declare standard-schema columns as optional, allowing you to omit non-required fields from ingest payloads. The system stores omitted fields as NULL or their default value.
• The Data Quality Dashboard is rebuilt as a single scrolling overview with a Current health snapshot of five KPI cards, three trend charts, a ranked Top error codes table, searchable Breakdown by table and Breakdown by request views, and a table-level drill-down scoped to a selected table, solution, and date range.

Maestro

• Maestro Case, a new project type for goal-driven work, lets AI agents and rules drive cases forward automatically, with humans stepping in only when judgment or policy requires it, and includes a Case Plan Designer, Case Manager, Case App, and Case Instance Management.
• A new Start and wait for Function Service Task type lets you run deterministic Python logic published with the uip CLI directly from a process, with inputs and outputs mapped automatically from the function's schema, available in preview.
• The canvas adds an element toolbar with boundary event and marker buttons, a quick add menu for placing nodes directly on the canvas with pre-associated automation types, and a Properties panel that opens the implementation area automatically for unconfigured elements.

Orchestrator

• The Processes Registry and Resources pages add inline chip filters for fixed-value columns, letting you filter the grid in one click without expanding a dropdown.
• Maestro process type labels update throughout Orchestrator: Agentic process becomes Maestro BPMN, Case Management becomes Maestro Case, and Flow becomes Maestro Flow.
• Create and edit forms across Orchestrator use a card layout with shadow and rounded corners, consistent spacing, and a sticky breadcrumb bar that stays visible as you scroll.

Solutions

• When configuring a version change in the resource explorer, you can unlink resources previously linked to an existing component, then either let them be created fresh in the solution folder at upgrade time or link them to a different existing component.

Studio Web

• Studio Web updates project type names: Agentic process becomes Maestro BPMN, API Automation becomes API function, and Automations becomes RPA workflow.
• The project creation view is now organized by category. The New project dropdown, Start building modal, and Add project to solution context menu group project types under Business orchestration, Task automation, and Building blocks.
• You can now run an RPA workflow locally from Studio Web without publishing it first. The debugger no longer pauses on handled exceptions caught by Retry Scope or Try Catch activities.
• Activities now show a warning hint when their bound resource has a different definition at debug time than it had at design time. The hint includes a direct link to update the resource mapping.

• Autopilot adds Romanian as a supported language for system prompts.
• Performance Testing reporting differentiates expected retry behavior from genuine execution failures, so retries that ultimately succeed no longer inflate error counts or appear as errors in charts.
• A new Workflow Analyzer in Performance Testing automatically scans test automation projects during dry runs to identify selectors, interaction modes, and workflow patterns incompatible with or unlikely to scale in performance testing.
