This week's updates help new work start with the right structure and keep plans grounded in who's actually around. Automations can create Lists from templates, personal time off flows into Scheduling and Workload, parent task dates sync automatically from subtasks, and so much more!

✨ Create Lists from templates using Automations

Every new project can launch with the right tasks, views, and timelines already in place. The Create List action in Automations lets you apply a List template and remap dates relative to the triggering event, so repeated processes always start with the right structure. Add the action to any Automation in a Space, Folder, or List.

✨ Add personal time off so plans reflect your team's real availability

Mark vacations, sick days, and other absences from your profile or Teams Hub, and that availability flows into Scheduling, Workload, Calendar, and Timesheets. When you assign or schedule work, ClickUp shows conflict warnings in the date picker and assignee picker if someone is off during those dates. Available on Business Plus and Enterprise Plans.

✨ Mention people, tasks, Docs, Channels, and more from a single picker

Find anything from a single, unified picker: people, agents, teams, tasks, Docs, Channels, Spaces, Folders, Lists, Whiteboards, Clips, and connected apps like GitHub and Google Drive. Plus, the picker opens 4x faster than before!

✨ Parent task dates now sync automatically from subtasks

Parent task dates automatically update when subtask dates change. Enable date sync for a List, and the parent's start date, due date, and duration automatically recalculate from the earliest and latest subtask dates. Available on Business Plus and Enterprise Plans.

✨ Forward comments and messages to a Chat or task

Click Forward on any comment or message, choose a Channel, DM, or task, then add an optional message and send. You can forward from Chat to task, task to task, or task to Chat, and your message arrives with a quoted preview and a link back to the original.

✨ See who reports to whom with Org Charts

Org Charts in ClickUp give you a live, interactive map of reporting lines and team connections, and toggling on Agents lets you see each person's Super Agents as direct reports. Open it from the Teams Hub sidebar, any profile's Org Chart tab, or type "Go to Org Chart" in the Command Bar.

Group by each individual assignee, tag, or label in List view

When you group by Assignee, tasks with multiple assignees normally land in a single group like "Maya, Noah, Liam." Turn on One assignee per group, and that same task appears once in each person's group instead, so every owner sees it in their own lane. It works the same way for tags, labels, and any people-type field. Find the toggle in the Group by menu in List view.

Find your meeting notes instantly in Meetings Hub

Open Meetings Hub to see every note and recording from SyncUps, Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams in one place. Filter or search to jump straight to the meeting you need, and use Brain to pull decisions, action items, and topics across all your meetings at once. You'll find Meetings Hub in the Home menu on any Workspace with AI Notetaker access.

Clone or templatize any Super Agent

Stop rebuilding agents from scratch. Two new ways to leverage what you've already built: Clone creates an instant duplicate of any agent, preserving its instructions, tools, knowledge, and Workspace connections in a customizable copy. Great for spinning up a variant for a different team or use case. Open the ellipsis menu on any Agent Profile and select Clone.

Agent Templates let you save an agent as a reusable template that anyone in your organization can deploy across Workspaces. Unlike a one-time clone, a template is a saved version you can publish and share, so teams can stand up proven agents without needing access to the original. Create a template from the same ellipsis menu on any Agent Profile.

Super Agents section in the Home sidebar

Get back to your agents without hunting for them. A dedicated Super Agents section in the Home sidebar shows your recent agents and lets you open a DM, view a profile, or create a new agent in one click. The section appears automatically for anyone with at least one available agent.

Connect your ZoomInfo account through the App Center

Search contacts, enrich company records, and pull intent signals directly from ZoomInfo without leaving ClickUp. Connect your ZoomInfo account through App Center's MCP Templates, then ask Brain or a Super Agent to look up verified emails, phone numbers, org charts, scoops, and more. Requires a ZoomInfo SalesOS or Copilot subscription.

PayPal as a payment option for ClickUp is starting to roll out in India.

You’ll be able to use PayPal anywhere card entry is currently supported today, including billing settings, checkout, and add-ons.

A couple quick notes:

• This is an additional payment option, not a pricing change
• India is the first rollout market, with availability expanding country by country over time

Custom Fields by Task Type

Different types of work call for different data. Tasks now group Custom Fields by task type first, so bugs, accounts, and campaigns each show the fields most relevant to them at the top. Assign fields to task types from the Custom Field Manager, Fields sidebar, or task view.

Import Slack history into ClickUp Channels

Want your Slack history in a Channel that already exists? Now you can. Map incoming Slack channels to existing ClickUp Channels, Spaces, Folders, or Lists instead of creating new ones every time. Start a new import from Settings > Imports / Exports.

Connect any MCP server to Super Agents

Super Agents can now use tools from any external MCP server: your CRM, support desk, data warehouse, whatever you connect. Connect a server from the App Center, authenticate with OAuth or an API token, and then add its tools to any Super Agent. Both personal and Workspace-level connections are supported.

AI Notetaker captures in-meeting chat

Your video call's chat history is now captured in AI Notetaker. Every message sent in Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams chat during a meeting is automatically pulled into your generated notes with sender attribution, so you get a complete record of what happened, not just what was said out loud.

This week's release automates work between ClickUp and Google Drive, provides more detail into team capacity in Workload view, and lets you onboard invitees to teams faster.

Automate Workflows between ClickUp and Google Drive

Google Drive Automations can create folders and Docs when tasks are created in ClickUp, and alert your team in ClickUp when new files are added in Drive. Spin up a shared project folder automatically, then notify reviewers as soon as the latest files land.

See Team Capacity at a Deeper Level in Workload View

Add a second layer of grouping in Workload view to break down capacity by team, project, or department, then by assignee. Spot who's at capacity and where there's room to take on more, so you can make faster decisions when prioritizing and assigning work.

Assign Invited Users to Teams Before They Join

Prepare your Workspace for new members before they log in by adding invited users to Teams while their invite is still pending. When they accept, they'll instantly have the right access and permissions across your Workspace. This way, when your new teammate first logs into ClickUp, they'll see the Spaces and resources their team uses every day.

We’re so excited to announce that Subfolders are ready for you to sign up for the beta! This has been one of our biggest community requests of all time, and we can't wait for you to dive in!

With Subfolders, you can:

• Add a whole new layer of Hierarchy to your Workspace.
• Keep your sprints perfectly organized with nested sprint Folders.
• Customize settings at the subfolder level, including permissions, statuses, Custom Fields, and Automations.
