Here’s a quick look at what’s new and fixed in the latest developer build:
- Improved address bar interaction – buttons now respond instantly on mouse down
- Fixed an issue where song title and artist text were cut off in the miniplayer
- Resolved a bug where adding custom adblock lists didn’t update status correctly
- Fixed a bug where Opera processes continued running after closing the last private window
- Addressed a missing page for the “How does it work?” link in History

Opera 130 Stable
Opera Desktop introduces Opera 130 on the stable channel with a Chromium update, a round of stability and crash fixes, UI refinements, and sidebar additions for Early Bird users including Threads and Twitch.

Today we’re introducing Opera 130 on the stable channel.
What’s new?
Chromium update:
- Opera 130 is based on the Chromium version: 146.0.7680.178
Stability and crash fixes:
- This release includes a number of fixes targeting crashes reported in previous builds, regarding:
- Tab interactions and hover previews
- UI rendering and view conversions
User interface improvements:
- Improved settings design and descriptions
- Fixes for Easy Setup UI, including layout gaps and visual inconsistencies
- Better positioning of the download popup in Split Screen mode
- Fixes for tab island controls, including the “+” button behavior
- Corrections to miniplayer text layout
- Improved visibility of the cursor in History search (dark mode)
- Fixes for extension notification popup visuals
Sidebar and integrations:
- Updated messenger landing page URL
- Early Bird users can now access:
- Threads in the sidebar
- Twitch in the sidebar
Fixes for browsing and features:
- Fixed YouTube push notifications
- Improved behavior during onboarding and tab import
- Addressed issues with adblock custom lists and UI display

This time it’s a small release focused on stability. We’ve fixed a crash that was showing up quite frequently:
- DNA-124731 Crash at base::(anonymous namespace)::EarlyFeatureAccessTracker::Fail
This fix should have a noticeable impact on overall stability for some users.

Key highlights
- Stability improvements
- A crash related to session handling has been resolved.
- Split screen tab and window behavior
- We fixed an issue where dragging a domain chip to create a new window could cause a tab from the background to be selected instead. Additionally, in split screen mode, the close button no longer appears in a way that could lead to accidental tab closures.
- Settings and feature consistency
- Guest tab keyboard shortcuts were previously visible in Opera One despite being exclusive to Opera GX. This inconsistency has now been corrected.
- Theme editor fix
- An issue causing the theme editor to become blank after modifying certain themes has been resolved, restoring proper functionality.
- Early Bird update
- YouTube-in-sidebar feature flag has been enabled for Early Bird users, allowing for easier access to video content directly from the sidebar.

Here’s what’s new and fixed in this update:
- Chromium upgrade: Opera now runs on Chromium 145.0.7632.117.
- Security updates: Chromium 0-day CVE-2026-3909 & CVE-2026-3910.
- Crash fixes: Multiple stability improvements across Mac, Windows, and Linux, including session restore, split-screen, content rules, and tab management.
- UI improvements:
- Fixed broken tab orders when opening bookmark folders.
- Adjusted hover and active colors in split-screen domain chips.
- Fixed tab bar, address bar, and top bar display issues on macOS.
