We’ve fixed an issue where you could be asked to sign in multiple times after changing your account password.

We’ve fixed an issue where separate windows (such as Settings) could show the main 1Password window’s title instead of their own.

We’ve fixed an issue where some attachments didn’t upload when adding multiple files to a Document item using drag and drop.

Item date fields now use the date format you’ve chosen in your system settings. If you’ve set a language in 1Password that’s different from your system, dates use that language’s format instead.

We’ve fixed an issue where some fields of a Bitwarden Identity item weren’t imported into 1Password.

We’ve fixed an issue where unsaved changes could be lost while editing an item type created with a custom template.

We’ve fixed an issue where rich icons of some imported items didn’t appear until the item was edited.

We’ve fixed an issue where typing in an item’s Title or Website field and pressing Enter could save an autocomplete suggestion instead of what you typed.

We’ve fixed an issue where 1Password appeared to be offline when some changes hadn’t synced, instead of telling you those changes were still waiting to sync.

We’ve fixed a typo in the 1Password MCP server setup instructions.

We’ve fixed an issue where updating 1Password could fail on Fedora Silverblue, Bazzite, and other rpm-ostree-based Linux distributions.

You can now run a local MCP server from the Developer tab, allowing AI assistants to access 1Password Developer tools.

Developer Watchtower descriptions on the Developer homepage and in Watchtower now mention scanning for plaintext secrets, including .env files and SSH keys.

When a device’s location can’t be determined during sign-in or setup, “Unknown location” is now shown without an IP address.

Confirmation prompts now say “app” or “browser” instead of “device” when linking another 1Password app or browser to your account.

The “Clear keyboard shortcut” button in Settings > General > Keyboard Shortcuts now has an improved label for screen readers.

We’ve fixed an issue where the Home screen could open to the All Accounts view when you had multiple accounts but only one unlocked.

We’ve fixed an issue where changes to the pre-filled Secret Key weren’t saved when adding an account from the Found Accounts list, causing the old Secret Key to be pre-filled the next time you added the account.

We’ve fixed an issue where the 1Password menu bar or system tray icon could show a blank image or not update properly when you locked or unlocked the app.

We’ve fixed an issue where dragging files onto the sidebar could leave destinations in the sidebar highlighted.

We’ve fixed an issue where you could get stuck when setting up the 1Password browser extension if you’d already pinned 1Password your browser’s toolbar.

We’ve fixed an issue where a new Developer Environment could incorrectly show an error loading destinations before you added any variables.

We’ve fixed an issue where pressing Enter to confirm Japanese text in search or Quick Access could erase text you already typed.

You can now put double quotes around a search query to look up an exact phrase, including special characters like dots and dashes (for example, "10.1.2.3").

1Password CLI, 1Password SDKs, and the integration with MCP clients are now grouped into a single section in Settings > Developer.

The Developer Watchtower page will now properly refresh when you turn .env file scanning on or off.

We’ve fixed an issue where the option to import .env files could appear in Developer Watchtower, even when 1Password Environments support was disabled.

We’ve fixed an issue where a field viewed in Large Type wouldn’t refresh to show changes if you edited that field.

You can now choose what section of 1Password is shown when you first open the app or haven’t opened it in a while (Settings > General > Defaults).

We’ve updated the title of the crash report pop-up to clarify when 1Password quit unexpectedly.

We’ve changed the audit event that’s logged when an item is moved or duplicated between 1Password accounts to an Export Vault event.

We’ve improved an error message shown on the lock screen for a specific SSO-related unlocking issue.

If you use the 1Password browser extension, Brave Origin can now automatically connect to the 1Password app.

Expiration banners no longer appear for the date in the “Issued on” field in Passport items.

We’ve fixed an issue where search results didn’t include contents from some fields, such as the Type field for credit cards.

We’ve fixed an issue where Watchtower banners could be hidden for up to 24 hours if 1Password couldn’t update Watchtower data when you first opened the app.

You can now use Codex to interact directly with 1Password Environments using a local MCP server (currently in beta).

We’ve improved support for importing your data from Bitwarden using CSV files.

You’ll no longer see the option to share an item if item sharing is turned off for your 1Password account.

Secondary windows of the 1Password app will now open on your active display instead of your primary display.
