Introducing Adobe for ChatGPT: Create, edit and get work done — all in ChatGPT
Acrobat brings Adobe’s pro-grade creative and productivity tools into ChatGPT with a new unified plugin for creating images, videos, designs and polished PDFs. Available globally on ChatGPT web and app, it connects users to Acrobat and other Adobe apps right in conversation.
If you're one of the hundreds of millions of people or two million businesses using ChatGPT to brainstorm, research and solve problems, you can now take those conversations further — creating high-quality images, videos, designs and documents.
Today, we’re introducing the Adobe plugin in ChatGPT
Today, we’re introducing the Adobe plugin in ChatGPT, bringing Adobe’s pro-grade tools for creativity and productivity together in a single unified plugin that works across ChatGPT Work and Codex. Simply activate the Adobe plugin, describe what you want to create, and it automatically brings together the right Adobe tools behind the scenes to get you there. Drawing on more than 70 tools across Adobe’s creative and productivity suites, the Adobe plugin in ChatGPT supports a wide range of workflows, from editing photos and creating campaign videos to designing marketing assets and generating polished PDFs — all through rich, interactive experiences right in the flow of the conversation. That breadth of capabilities means the plugin can adapt to the needs of your project, and when you want advanced editing, creative control or pixel-level precision, you can continue your work in Adobe’s apps right where you left off.
"We're building ChatGPT to connect our users with the best capabilities for the task at hand. Adobe's category-leading creative and productivity tools help people express their creativity, communicate and be more productive, and we're excited to expand our partnership with Adobe to bring those capabilities into ChatGPT with the Adobe plugin in ChatGPT.”
– Vibhor Chhabra, product lead for ChatGPT Ecosystem, OpenAIWhat you can create with the Adobe plugin in ChatGPT
The Adobe plugin in ChatGPT brings together tools from our previously released Adobe apps for ChatGPT, along with additional tools and capabilities across Adobe Express, Photoshop, Firefly, Premiere, Acrobat, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign, Stock and more. One unified Adobe plugin now takes you from idea to finished work in a single connected experience in ChatGPT.
Create high-quality creative for your campaign: Upload your campaign photos and describe the look you want. The Adobe plugin applies a consistent style across the entire set, saves the finished assets to Creative Cloud and transforms your strongest image into a product or packaging mockup.
Create eye-catching video for every social platform: Turn a long-form video into an eye-catching highlight reel, then adapt it for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels and other social platforms.
Create a design and share it anywhere: Browse thousands of design templates with interactive previews, select the best one for your project, customize the copy and colors, then animate it for social media or convert it into a polished PDF that's ready to share or print.
Transform data into customer-ready documents: Upload a spreadsheet or dataset and describe the result you need. The Adobe plugin transforms your information into professionally formatted PDFs, including event badges, catalogs, infographics and other customer-ready documents.
What makes the Adobe plugin in ChatGPT different
Over the past few months, we’ve expanded access to Adobe’s tools across leading AI chatbot platforms, including ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot, with Slack and Gemini coming soon. The Adobe plugin in ChatGPT builds on that work by bringing the power of our creative and productivity apps together in one unified plugin that draws on the same tools and capabilities that power our own agents in Adobe apps. That means you're creating with the same trusted pro-grade tools that creative professionals and digital workers use every day, backed by Adobe's expansive creative and productivity app ecosystem, the only one with the breadth and depth to support end-to-end creative and document productivity workflows.
How to get started with the Adobe plugin in ChatGPT
- Open ChatGPT, go to Plugins, and add the Adobe plugin.
- Start a new chat, then type “@Adobe” and select Adobe from the menu or use the “+” button to choose it from your installed plugins.
- Continue as a guest or sign in with your Adobe account for an even richer experience.
You can start creating immediately as a guest using a broad set of Adobe tools. Sign in with your Adobe account to unlock generative capabilities, access your Creative Cloud files, and save your work across sessions, making it even easier to pick up where you left off in ChatGPT.
Push your ideas even further in Adobe’s apps
The Adobe plugin in ChatGPT is designed to meet you where you’re already working, making it easy to move from ideas to high-quality content inside ChatGPT. When your project calls for deeper creative exploration, advanced editing or pixel-level precision and control, Adobe’s apps are where you can push your ideas even further. For example, you might batch edit a set of product photos in ChatGPT with the Adobe plugin, then open your hero image in Photoshop to explore different creative directions, composite multiple assets, refine every detail with layers and masks, and perfect the final image.

The Adobe plugin in ChatGPT is available globally starting today on ChatGPT web and app. As we learn from how you're using the Adobe plugin, we'll continue evolving the experience with new creative and productivity tools and capabilities, helping you do even more in ChatGPT and other popular AI chatbot platforms.

Acrobat brings powerful PDF workflows to WhatsApp
Acrobat brings PDF viewing, markup and editing into WhatsApp Web and Windows, letting users open, review and act on documents directly in chat without downloading files or switching tools. It also adds access to Acrobat’s advanced editing and AI Assistant features for faster document workflows.
Adobe and WhatsApp are bringing Acrobat-powered PDF experiences directly into WhatsApp Web and Windows, so you can open, review and act on your documents right in your chat without needing to download files or switch tools.
Many of WhatsApp's three billion users already use the platform to share files and move work forward. Adobe Acrobat has long delivered trusted PDF viewing, collaboration and AI-powered productivity in the places where people work with documents. Integrating Acrobat into WhatsApp extends that value, so you can stay in the flow whether you're reviewing an invoice, checking a contract, looking over a design or confirming details.
“Acrobat is built to power document workflows wherever they happen," said Abhigyan Modi, senior vice president, Creativity & Productivity Business. “Bringing PDF capabilities into WhatsApp Web and Windows extends that vision into one of the world’s most important communication platforms.”
Now available, globally
Acrobat-powered PDF experiences are now available globally on WhatsApp Web and Windows and include:
- Acrobat-powered PDF previews that open directly in your conversation
- Full-screen PDF viewing in chat, including for password-protected files
- Markup tools for you to highlight, strike through text and more
- Access to advanced Acrobat tools so you can edit and send the revised PDF right back to the chat
Open PDFs instantly without leaving your chat
Now, when someone shares a PDF in WhatsApp Web or Windows, you can open it instantly in the conversation. Scroll, zoom and read the full document without downloading the file or switching apps. Password-protected files stay secure, helping ensure only the intended recipients can access them.
With Acrobat powering the experience, your documents render exactly as intended, preserving layout and formatting. Documents shared within your chats remain end-to-end encrypted like all other personal messages, meaning that only those in the chat can read them.
Make lightweight markups right in the chat
Once you've reviewed the document, you can quickly add feedback right in the chat with PDF tools that allow you to draw, highlight, underline and strike through text. Circle a clause you want someone to double-check, cross out an outdated line or underline the details that matter most. You can make you markups without ever leaving WhatsApp, so you don't interrupt the chat.
Edit, share and unlock more with Acrobat
For more advanced needs, click “Edit in Acrobat” to access additional Acrobat tools so you can edit, organize, sign, apply password protection and more. With Acrobat AI Assistant, you can also summarize documents, ask questions and surface key insights in seconds. Advanced editing and AI Assistant capabilities are available with an Acrobat subscription. Once you’re done, just share the updated file back into the same WhatsApp conversation, so everyone stays aligned on the latest version.
This makes everyday workflows smoother. Whether you’re browsing a catalog and confirming selections, sending an invoice, reviewing contract terms, flagging changes or sharing edits, everything happens in one thread without breaking your flow. From first open to final version, everything stays connected.
Built for how you actually work
For many people around the world, WhatsApp is where professional and personal work gets done. Documents play a central role in that experience.
Whether you’re sharing invoices or catalogs with customers, reviewing contracts with collaborators, submitting assignments or forms or coordinating plans with shared itineraries, PDFs are part of an ongoing exchange that drives decisions.
On larger screens, this becomes even more powerful. The Acrobat integration in WhatsApp Web and Windows gives space to read, compare and respond in real time while staying connected to the conversation. With Acrobat powering the experience, everything looks as intended.
Keep work moving at the speed of chat
Work moves faster when your documents are right where you need them. By bringing Acrobat-powered PDF experiences into WhatsApp Web and Windows, you can go from receiving a document to acting on it instantly. And with Acrobat’s full capabilities, including AI Assistant, every document in your chat becomes something you can understand, edit and move forward.
