Depositions by Filevine

• When creating clips or exporting video, users can now choose between Witness spotlight and Exhibit spotlight.

FVDA & Outlaw

• When the system disables a webhook due to repeated failures, Owners on the team now receive an email alert with instructions to re-enable it.
• Documents exported to .docx format now include activity logs and a Certificate of Completion page.
• Fix: Columns in variant tables no longer lose data or configuration when renamed or edited.
• Fix: Calculated columns and table totals now display as expected in tables with configurations.
• Fix: When inviting users to bundles via email, custom messages now include personal notes as expected.

Outlook Add-In

• Filevine’s Outlook Add-in has been refreshed with a sleeker, more modernized interface. All existing functionality is available in the new version, though the placement has changed for certain options.

Activity Feed

• After creating phone call items, users can now create and assign related tasks.

Documents

• Fix: Long filenames no longer overflow outside of the fax modal.
• Fix: Folder filtering now works as expected in the Documents page.
• Fix: Users will no longer experience interruptions when editing collection items while a DocGen is running.

FVDA & Outlaw

• Users can now create configurations for collection item fields, allowing multiple references to the same collection in a document.
• Fix: Columns containing nonbreaking characters no longer overflow into the right margin.
• Fix: Document borders now connect as expected on all sides when exporting to .docx format.
• Fix: The Set all instances option now consistently applies selections to all address fields.

LOIS

• Ask LOIS responses now include citations from the project calendar.
• When creating a note from a LOIS response, citations are now included in the note.

Med Chron

• Fix: Introduced an upper limit on simultaneous case initiations to maintain stable dashboard performance.
• Fix: Users can now download MedChron information to their Filevine projects as expected.

Documents

• DOCCONTENT and DOCTITLE search syntax parameters now work on the Documents Page.

User Activity Log

• API logs can now be included in the User Activity Log. By default, the API logs are filtered out. Include the API logs by removing the filter.

Billing

• In the Timesheet, you can now view your personal time totals per day, week, and month in a calendar format.

Depositions by Filevine

• In Depositions by Filevine, LOIS now provides insights about your transcripts in an AI-assisted, conversational format. Learn more.

Documents

• Documents now show the section name and icon for Med Chron and contact sources in LOIS.
• Fix: Notes and tasks now appear in the appropriate project when chatting with LOIS.
• Fix: The move/copy modal now displays the folder tree from the current project rather than the previous project.

Vinesign

• Documents will now auto-advance to required fields when being signed.

FVDA & Outlaw

• Connected Table Configurations: You can now create multiple named configurations for a connected table, each with its own column selections. This lets you display the same collection table data in different ways throughout a document using dot-notation to reference each variant.
• API support for updating template variable options: External integrations can now update variable definitions on templates via the API, including display names, default values, placeholders, and dropdown options for List and Multi-Select fields. For more information, refer to our API documentation.
• Improved Template repository search: Template search now uses all entered words to match (AND logic), so searching "settlement calc" only returns templates containing both terms — making it much easier to find exactly what you're looking for.
• Fix: Clause Library title updates were not propagating to linked templates. When you rename a Clause Library item, the updated title now correctly syncs to all templates that use it, including caption titles edited via the template section or sidebar.

LOIS

• Ask LOIS now supports fullscreen mode. When chatting with LOIS, click the expand icon in the top right of the window to launch an expanded experience.

• Firms with Med Chron can now draw from Med Chron as a data source when chatting with LOIS. Questions about medical overviews, summaries, and related topics will automatically pull from Med Chron data for more accurate, relevant answers.

Depositions by Filevine

• The workflow to import a transcript has been streamlined for a quicker and more intuitive user experience.

Client Portal

• For clearer analysis of project types with split timelines, CPM reports now display data for each timeline separately using a second dropdown selector.

Lead Docket

• Firms can now send the following external phone call details from their VoIP providers to Lead Docket via the following API endpoints:
  • Call Recordings
  • Transcripts
  • Summaries
  • Marketing Attributes

Med Chron

• Dashboard fields for primary, phases, and tags are now included in the table.
• Made an update to improve topic classification and filtering capabilities.
• Fix: Case Overview and Patient Profile tabs no longer omit expected citations.

Tags

• The following new API endpoints allow firms to remove tags in bulk from the following items in Filevine:
  • Contacts
  • Projects
  • Notes
  • Documents

User Activity Log

• The following filter criteria have been updated for the User Activity Log project section:
  • Project-related filters are now available.
  • Log Date Within filters can now be greater than 62 days.

Vinesign

• Signers can now auto-advance to the next signature, initial, or checkbox field without clicking the Next button each time.

Client Portal

• Firms can now set up forms to auto-send to certain contact roles when the project phase changes.
• Users with over 100 messages will now see a banner stating that older messages may be hidden and the unread count may be incomplete until all messages are loaded.
• Fix: The notification preferences screen now only displays for users with more than one contact method to choose from.

Payments by Filevine

• Firms can now create and manage recurring transactions within the Payments App.

Time & Billing

• In the Billing Setup Advanced tool, billing codes can now be imported from a spreadsheet.
