Procore Release Notes

Modifying your AI chat settings in Procore AI and Datagrid is now simpler with consolidated controls. These changes help you optimize results without losing momentum:

• Streamlined agent selection: Agent selection is now the most prominent option in the chat box, and it’s easier to switch from Auto agent selection to your preferred agent(s).
• Plus + menu: Add attachments, actions, tools, or switch to a different LLM, by clicking the plus icon. This is also where you manage your agent memories, prompt library, and more. No functionality is removed — these options just live in one place now instead of dispersed across several menus.

We’ve also improved the default mode, Agents (Auto), so that it handles simple questions itself, uses tools as needed — including any you’ve added from the plus + menu — and calls a specialized agent when the work clearly belongs to one. Or, if you name an agent in your message, you stay in Auto mode, and it uses that agent to assist with your task. Instead of having the Ask or Execute toggle, Auto now decides how to handle each request for you. Learn more in Manage Your AI Chat Controls.

• Changed Purchase Orders in Commitments so they group and sort by vendor to match Subcontracts.

• Fixed Document Management filters so Originator works on large projects, the result count stays in sync, and selections narrow correctly.

• Fixed Specifications search so hyphenated titles match and the typed query is fully highlighted.

• Fixed an issue where markup from web or Android did not appear promptly, and where the Project Map list disappeared after creating an RFI.

• Fixed a crash when opening a form with a read-only text custom field, and oversized Tool Studio reference images on iPad.

• Fixed Taken On missing on library photos after adding a description, and leftover attachment-camera files using extra storage.

Procore upgraded the Rich Text Editor across Procore's Project Management, Quality & Safety (PMQS) tools to bring you a more powerful and intuitive editing experience. The enhanced editor now seamlessly preserves your formatting when you paste content from external sources like Google Docs or Microsoft Word. It also allows you to easily embed inline images, build tables, and use helpful markdown shortcuts directly within your text fields. These improvements appear automatically in supported tools such as Emails and Correspondence, with additional PMQS tools receiving the update soon.

Procore has modernized email notifications for the Daily Log tool across Web, iOS, and Android in all regions.

All Daily Log emails now follow a consistent new design system that notifies users of specific events—such as when a daily log is rejected, marked as complete, or when a weather delay is logged. The Daily Log email updates improves information hierarchy and increases actionability with clearer calls to action.

Project teams can quickly understand daily log updates, take clear action, and jump directly into Procore to follow up without confusion. By improving response times, teams can make faster, smarter decisions to keep projects on schedule. The updated email layouts are also easier to scan and interact with on any device, significantly enhancing readability and usability. Procore has introduced the following new insights to help you monitor and optimize your invoice and billing workflows:

• Company Owner Invoices Review and project-level Owner Invoice Review
• Company Subcontractor Invoice Review and project-level Subcontractor Invoice Review

These insights surface key invoice approval metrics by highlighting pending or overdue invoices. Additionally, they reveal owner invoice creation gaps by pinpointing lags between subcontractor invoice approval and owner invoice creation. The insights help teams pinpoint bottlenecks in billing workflows, improve cash flow, and reduce the risk of missed or inaccurate owner invoices. See About Procore Insights.

You can now use the new Workforce Demand vs. Capacity Gap Insight on the Company Insights side panel to see, at a glance, where planned labor hours are about to exceed confirmed crew capacity across your portfolio. The Insight defaults to a 4-week look-ahead and summarizes the number of projects at risk of understaffing and the number of weeks with a portfolio-level shortfall in a Quick Insight callout.

A Gap Analysis bar compares the Planned, Confirmed, and Gap hours so you can see the size of the shortfall in absolute terms, and a half-gauge highlights the total number of projects at risk. In addition, a ranked list of the top projects missing workforce hours shows the project name, the week the gap occurs, and the size of the gap in hours, so resource managers and operations leaders know exactly where to focus. You can drill into the full report or open the total hours view to rebalance crews, accelerate hiring, or adjust schedules before shortfalls reach the field. Procore’s new Submittals: Sync Distributed Items feature in Procore Connect allows collaborating companies to automatically sync and retain a permanent, read-only copy of completed submittals in their own accounts. Users can link these external submittals directly to local records and use the new "All vs. Mine" configuration to choose whether they receive all project submittals or only those they actively participate in. This seamless integration ensures Receiving partners maintain accurate and uninterrupted historical records, even if a Sending partner’s item is edited or deleted, completely eliminating manual file sharing and data double-handling. Procore has introduced the Expanded Adoption report and its corresponding User Adoption dataset in the Analytics tool.

Expanded Adoption Report

This report provides a detailed overview of adoption and usage trends among teams using the Procore platform. It can be used to monitor the adoption of new tools and features, such as Scheduling, Resource Management, Connect, and more, in addition to the tools covered by the legacy “Adoption” report. The report acts as a centralized dashboard for tracking Procore usage and assessing the return on investment (ROI) from your Procore product suite. See Expanded Adoption Report. Additionally, you can customize this report to filter usage data by specific tools, track employee activity, and set target record generation percentages for external collaborators. User Adoption Dataset

This dataset is the foundation of the Expanded Adoption report, providing clear and standardized visibility into how your teams engage with Procore. It can also be used to create or modify Analytics reports in Power BI. The dataset tracks essential metrics, including Date Created, ID, Created By, Tool, Metric, Metric Value, and Metric Definition. Organizations can leverage this information to analyze long-term engagement trends, identify high-performing teams, and monitor historical user activity records, even for items that have been deleted after their creation date.
