Procore Release Notes

Magpie 3.0 is a new AI reasoning engine behind Procore AI agents, available in open beta to Procore AI customers through Procore Explore. Like Magpie 2.5, it can work through multi-step analysis, but it has a more direct approach designed to make efficient use of advanced large language models. Magpie 3.0 brings in Procore and connector actions only when the question needs them, which helps keep answers focused when many connections are available.

Enrollment

Company Admins can enroll the whole company or individual projects from Procore Explore in the Company level Admin tool. To enroll, search for “Magpie,” click Details, and then Join Program. Because responses may differ from what your team is used to, consider starting with one project. After your enrollment, expect the following changes and options:

• Agents set to Magpie 2.5 (or with no agent model selected) will now run on Magpie 3.0. You don’t need to change any configurations.
• In Agents (Auto), agent-style turns use Magpie 3.0.
• The ‘Planning Strategy’ field in an agent’s configuration does not apply while the agent runs on Magpie 3.0. Move anything the agent must follow to Custom Instructions.
• Agents set to another model, such as Magpie 1.1 Flash, are not changed.
• To return to Magpie 2.5, leave the beta program in Procore Explore.

The Photos tool (Web) now features upgraded Timeline navigation with random-access controls, allowing you to jump directly to specific dates or navigate multi-year project histories without endless scrolling. Finding photos across long-running projects with thousands of images is now faster and more intuitive.

This release includes the following timeline navigation features:

• Jump-to-Date navigation
• Scrubbable timeline vertical scroll bar
• Sticky date headers
• Reverse sort order
• Album detail view support

The Photos tool (Web) now supports Saved Views - a dynamic, auto-populating photo collection defined by saved filter criteria. Instead of manually curating static albums, you can save custom filter sets once, allowing matching photos—including new uploads—to populate automatically in real time. Photos remain in their original albums and are never copied or moved.

You can automatically organize photos by using filter criteria - location, trade, who took or uploaded the photo, date taken or uploaded, and AI-generated tags — so you can quickly find the exact images you need and stop spending time on manual curation.

Three types of Saved Views are available - personal, project, and company level views. To learn more, see Create and Manage Saved Views for photos.

Hubs for Owners now features a Project Date Variance card on Company Home, providing centralized tracking and inline editing for standardized project milestones across an entire portfolio. Previously, owners had no way to view milestone dates across multiple jobs at once and had to navigate into individual projects one by one to review or edit schedule details. The new card displays configurable date columns, automatically calculates color coded baseline versus actual variances, and allows authorized users to update milestone dates directly from the table. Users with Company Admin permissions can now assign a company level Form Template within the Forms tool to one or more specific projects. This update is available on both web and mobile, helping admins to determine which projects a Form is relevant for and assign it to those projects. Key highlights of this update include:

• At the company level, two columns - Assigned to New Projects and Assigned Projects - have been added to the Company Admin tool > Form Settings page. With this release, all form templates are applied to all projects and all form templates are defaulted to “yes” for new projects to maintain the current state.
• At the project level, When a form template is unassigned from a project, the template is removed from the Create dropdown in the Forms tool. Any forms previously created using that template will remain fully visible and accessible within the project. To learn more, see Assign a Company Level Form Template to Specific Projects.

You can now track equipment activity directly at the project level with the new Equipment Utilization - Last 7 Days insight in the Project Insights side panel. This new Insights tool helps teams quickly identify and address idle machinery to reduce unnecessary costs.

Project teams can monitor equipment usage over a trailing 7-day window without manually cross-referencing logs and timesheets.
