Introducing our new Bulk Title Tool, created to make adding titles quicker and more efficient.

If you have a large backlog of books to add, you can now upload them all at once using our spreadsheet template—reducing manual entry and saving you valuable time

Start using the Bulk Title Tool today in the Bookvault portal.

We have put together brief user guides to help you through this process whether you plan to upload a spreadsheet, or use a Kickstarter backer export.

• Go to ‘Library‘ and select ‘Bulk Upload Titles‘.
• Download the spreadsheet template
• Fill in your title details and upload the completed file.

It’s as simple as that!

We are thrilled to announce the latest addition to our BookvaultBespoke range; sprayed edges! This new feature allows you to add a vibrant, custom touch to the edges of your paperback and hardcover books, available on orders as low as a single copy!

Sprayed edges are perfect for adding a unique flair to your special editions, creating a standout aesthetic, enabling you to offer high-end versions of your titles for those readers who want that little bit more.

When selecting sprayed edges you have the choice of either Custom or Solid Colour

Custom

custom sprayed edges allow full colour artwork designs of your choice, this option costs £3 on top of the print cost of your title.

Solid Colour

Solid colour designs allow you to select a single colour of your choice in RGB, this option costs £5 on top of the print cost of your title.

• BookvaultBespoke orders are solely produced from our UK facility, they can be shipped worldwide
• It is important to note that colours may differ slightly when printing onto cream paper stocks or if the pages have overhanging bleed (like forced edges)

Foiling Options:

• Foil on covers (for all bindings except case cloth)
• Foil on dust jackets

These foiling options will be available only on matte lamination covers, and will launch in the following colours:

• Gold
• Silver
• Holographic

Hardback Only Features:

• Ribbons in a wide variety of colours (Red, Black, Blue, Green, White)
• Head & tail bands (Black & Green, Black & Red, Black and White, Blue & White, Red & White)
• Customised printed end-papers

Upgrading Our Bespoke Printing

When we initially launched BookvaultBespoke, we planned to start with our current machinery to meet immediate needs and demand. However, due to the overwhelming response and high demand for our bespoke services, we have decided to accelerate our investment in advanced machinery sooner than originally planned. This significant upgrade will enhance our foiling precision and introduce new features to elevate your book designs. This machinery, originally scheduled for 2025, will now be implemented ahead of time in early July to better serve your needs and exceed your expectations.

As part of our commitment to continually enhance our offerings and support our authors, we are expanding our BookvaultBespoke range, focusing on machinery that allows for further special edition features that will set your books apart. We are happy to announce a £250,000 investment in a state-of-the-art embellishment machine that will significantly elevate our services and further enhance the capabilities of our UK print facility.

This new equipment will enable us to introduce more precise and visually stunning foiling to book covers, expanding the design possibilities for our authors. In addition, it will allow us to offer a new feature: spot UV, providing a sleek, glossy and raised finish to specific areas of the cover for added emphasis and appeal, as well as the ability to embellish double sided covers.

The advanced technology of this machine will require minimal human interaction, ensuring consistent, high-quality production. Most impressively, it will increase our cover production speed by over 10 times, all while maintaining a far more consistent quality level.

We believe these enhancements will provide our authors with unparalleled opportunities to create standout special-edition books on a single-copy basis, and we are excited to see the innovative designs and beautiful creations that will come as a result!

Prepare for Sprayed Edge Printing!

After much anticipation, we are thrilled to announce that we are still on track to receive our new sprayed edge machine at the end of July! This state-of-the-art equipment will enable us to enhance our production capabilities and offer even more creative and high-quality edge designs. We are currently waiting for the shipment to arrive from Germany, and as such, we do not have a confirmed release date for this service. We know you are all eagerly awaiting it, so we will keep you informed of any new developments and provide an estimated release date as soon as we have more information.

With this machine, we will provide:

• Precision Sprayed Edges: Achieve perfectly uniform and vibrant edges for all your projects.
• Custom Color Options: Match any color scheme to elevate the aesthetics of your materials.
• High-Volume Efficiency: Handle large orders swiftly without compromising on quality or price.

As with the rest of our BookvaultBespoke services, it is important to note that these options will only be available from the UK print facility for now.
