Call handling

• AI Receptionist can now be set up to answer incoming text messages.

Admin

• Admins can now view MyAccount contact cards for their Customer Care representatives directly in the Admin Portal home page.
• Create and manage the company text message templates in the Admin Portal.

Global

• Due to Australian regulations, 13, 1300, and 1800 numbers can’t be used as outbound caller ID on PSTN calls. These number types are no longer available for selection as outbound caller ID for users in Australia.
• Self-serve purchasing for Poland phone numbers is no longer available due to local regulations. To purchase numbers in Poland, contact RingCentral or use the on-demand order flow in the Admin Portal.
• Global RingEX Select India customers can now purchase a toll-free number and assign it as a secondary main company number.

Hardware

• Add or update expansion modules for existing rental hardware, including:
  • Poly VVX 450 and 550
  • Yealink EXP55 (T7 and T8 series)
  • Cisco 9800 series and CP8861/8851,
  • Avaya J169 and J179.

Analytics

• The Business Analytics Pro beta program is ending. Customers will move to Business Analytics Essentials or Pro plans based on their RingEX tier(or purchased add-ons).
• SMS analytics are now available in the Adoption and Usage Portal. The new Text (SMS) tab lets you view text message activity alongside calls, meetings, and messages.

Improvements

• MMS forwarding: You can now forward a single MMS message to one or more recipients. When you forward to a group, the message is sent as one group message, not as separate messages. This applies to the direct inbox only. (Requires the latest version of the RingCentral Web app)
• Ringing call status: Added a Ringing status for outgoing calls to help distinguish unanswered calls from active ones. This status appears in the HUD view and helps you identify when call monitoring can start. (Requires the latest version of the RingCentral Web app)
• Desktop notification check (Windows): The app now detects whether desktop notifications are turned on in Windows settings on the Operating System (OS) level. This supports an upcoming update that will guide you through setting up notifications.

VID support

• IGEL OS 12 support: Added call optimization support for Omnissa virtual environments on IGEL OS 12. This update requires installation of the RingCentral VDI Omnissa Plugin for IGEL and RingCentral VDI Universal Service.

Bug fixes

• Profile office addresses: Fixed an issue where a profile showed multiple office addresses in PBX federation environments.
• Crash recovery reloads: The app now reloads only when the screen is blank, reducing unnecessary reloads during memory recovery.
• Auto-update timing: Fixed an issue where auto-updates could start at unexpected times due to incorrect idle timer setup.
• Outlook integration: Updated the Outlook integration logic and removed a legacy VBS component to improve reliability and performance.
• Improved overall app reliability and performance.

Improvements

• HUD status update: Fixed an issue where the HUD status didn’t always update correctly after receiving a call.
• Switch between connections: Resolved connection issues when switching between a WiFi and wired connection.
• Outlook and RingCX integration: Improved integration with the Outlook app and RingCX.
• Memory errors: Addressed occasional out-of-memory errors to keep the app running smoothly.
• App freeze: Fixed a rare issue where the app could freeze when a new notification arrived.

Library update

• Updated Yarn from version 1 to version 4.

Call handling

• Introduced a new phone number search experience in the Call Log:
  • Added a dedicated filter for entering phone number searches.
  • Updated phone number search result behavior to show numbers that start with the digits entered.
  • Made Country a required field when searching by phone number.
• Route faxes and text messages sent to company or site phone numbers to different extensions.
• You can now select one or more users to send and receive text messages from a company or site phone number in an SMS Shared Inbox.

Analytics

• Business Analytics email subscription report links now remain accessible for 6 months instead of 1 month.
• Choose between Total Data and Filtered Data when calculating aggregated metric percentages in Business Analytics.

• Added support for automatic provisioning for the following Yealink devices:
  • T73U
  • T74U
  • T77U
  • T87U
  • EXP55
• Firmware updates:
  • Updated Yealink T4U devices to firmware version 108.86.25.16, enabling Sync DND and Sync contact.
  • Updated Yealink T33G and T34W devices to firmware version 124.86.25.8, enabling Sync DND and Sync contact.
  • Updated Yealink CP965 to firmware version 143.87.25.2, including bug fixes.
  • Updated Poly Trio 8300 to firmware version 8.1.7 B, including bug fixes.

Global

• Dial-plans and Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) are now available in Venezuela.
• Block sending caller ID (CLID) on outbound PSTN calls for Australia number ranges 13, 1300, 1800.

Admin

• View all licenses assigned to users, update user types individually or in bulk, and manage add-on licenses directly from a user’s details (released early January).
• The user interface (UI) for adding users to User Groups has been aligned with other Admin Portal flows. The UI now includes large list pagination and a group name search.
• Contact Center Routing Numbers (CCRNs) associated with specific sites can be published to the Directory Assistance.
• Presence can now be set up for multiple users in the User Settings template.

Hardware

• Certification of the Yealink W59R Pro as a handset for the W7OB multi-user base station.
• Certified and added support for Assisted Provisioning of the AudioCodes MP524 device using the multi-user device method and 24 FXS ports.
• Added support for multi-user configuration and merchandising for Cisco ATA 191 and 192 devices.
