[Feature] Upload Images With the Skylight Desktop App
Skylight Desktop App now lets you add photos to Frames or Calendars. You can upload single photos, multiple files, or zip archives, with automatic unzip for zip uploads. Each file up to 25 MB.
Images and movies can now be added to your Frame or Calendar with the Skylight Desktop App!
First, log in to the Skylight Desktop App:
https://ourskylight.com/Go to your photos (select a Calendar device and then select the Photos icon, or select a Frame device), and click or tap the Add button:
[image]Select the device or devices you want to add photos to, and then click or tap Pick from gallery. Use the file picker to select photos on your computer that you want to add.
You can upload a single photo, multiple photos, or even a Zip file of photos! If you upload a Zip file, Skylight will automatically open the Zip file and add any photos in the Zip file to the selected Skylight devices.
There is a limit of 25 megabytes for each upload using the Skylight Desktop App.

[Feature] Easier Recipe Access
Skylight expands with a Recipes tab in Calendar and a new Recipes section in the Mobile App, letting you view and manage all recipes in one place. You can add ingredients to your Grocery List and even use Instacart for delivery.
We’ve made it easier to get to your recipes in both the Skylight Calendar and the Skylight App!

In the Mobile App, you can easily add the ingredients of your recipe to your Grocery List using the Add to List button when viewing a recipe:

[Feature] Use Fridge Photo to Create Recipes
Sidekick launches Fridge Photo, letting you upload fridge or pantry photos to guide recipe creation from ingredients you already have. You can add extra ingredients and specify dietary preferences. This feature makes cooking with what you own faster and smarter.
When creating a new recipe with Sidekick, you can now tell Sidekick what ingredients you have with photos of your fridge or pantry.
Sidekick will use your photos to help create a recipe using what you already have in your kitchen.

With the new Fridge Photo feature in Sidekick, you can take photos of your fridge and pantry:

Sidekick will scan your photos for available ingredients. As always, you can also type in other ingredients that you have that weren’t included in the photo, as well as list any preferences or dietary restrictions that Sidekick should honor when creating the new recipe.

Skylight Apps introduce Profile customization for a personalized look. Users can add a profile photo from avatars or their own image and pick a color with presets or a custom color picker, boosting individuality and brand alignment across apps.

[Feature] A New Look for Skylight Apps
Skylight Apps get a fresh look with a redesigned home screen and a new My Skylight menu to streamline access. The colorful icon grid reorganizes features and reserves space for upcoming events across both mobile and desktop. This UI refresh paves the way for future features and easier account management.
We’ve made some changes to the Skylight Apps give them a new look, and reorganized the user interface to better support adding future features.
These changes apply to both the Skylight Mobile App and the Skylight Desktop App.A New Look
The home page on the Skylight Apps has been changed to show a colorful grid of icons, collecting all of the Skylight functions in one place.:
The new icon grid leaves space on the home screen for a quick preview of upcoming events.
The My Skylight Menu
In the upper left hand corner of the screen is a button for the new My Skylight menu:
Selecting this menu button will show the new My Skylight menu:
The My Skylight menu has everything you need to manage your skylight account.

[Feature] Get Excited With Countdowns
Countdowns
We use calendars to keep track of what we need to remember to do. Calendars are fun when we are keeping track of something we’re looking forward to. With Countdowns, Skylight can count the days for you.
Pick any event you have made and set it as a count down, and Skylight Calendar will do the rest. The count down until the event will appear in the calendar view:
