[Feature] Search for Tasks
Skylight adds Task Search in the Mobile App to quickly find tasks by name or description.
If we’re keeping track of a lot of tasks, sometimes some of those tasks can get lost in the list. We may have a task that only happens once, or only happens once in a while, and it can be difficult to find these tasks by flipping through the task list day by day.
With the new Search Tasks feature in the Skylight Mobile App, you can quickly find a task by searching through names and descriptions:
For more about Task Search, please see Tasks: Routines and Chores.

[Feature] Profiles and Labels
Skylight introduces Profiles and Labels to make calendar organization easier for busy households. Profiles help assign events, tasks, and rewards to each household member, while Labels keep shared items like holidays, garbage pickup, and home games neatly separated.
Our calendars are complicated places! We put all kinds of things on our calendars: meets we have to attend, birthdays we need to remember, vacations we need to plan for, homework we need to do, holidays when we can take a break.
With Skylight Calendar, we can have lots of different calendars all in one place: calendars for each family member, a calendar to keep track of holidays, a calendar to keep track of home games: it can be a lot!
We’re introducing a new way to organize your calendars with Profiles and Labels.
Profiles
Profiles are a way of organizing the people in your household:
Assign a Profile to each member of your household, and assign events, tasks, and rewards to the Profiles.
Labels
Labels are a way of organizing events that are not specifically connected to an individual Profile:
Use Labels to manage events like:
- National Holidays
- Garbage Pickup Days
- Home Games for Local Sports Teams
With Labels, you can keep these kinds of events organized and separated from the day-to-day activities of all the people in your household.
For more about Profiles and Labels, please see: Profiles.
