v4.17.0
antragsgruen adds major platform upgrades with a modern JavaScript frontend, CDN-friendly static assets, environment-based configuration, and a pre-built Docker image. It also expands admin, PDF, user import, translation, and workflow options while fixing several bugs.
WARNING
if you are using a PHP 8.1 or older, then update to PHP 8.2 or newer first before installing this update!
The JavaScript-based frontend components were rewritten to make use or more modern and standardized technologies (ECMAScript Modules, compiled Vue modules).
Antragsgrün now supports hosting static assets (JS, CSS, Images, ...) on CDNs, for faster loading times.
Configuring Antragsgrün via environment variables is now supported, allowing for easier deployment in Docker- and Kubernetes-environments.
An pre-built Docker Image for Antragsgrün is now provided via Docker Hub.
It is now easier possible to integrate OpenTelemetry into Antragsgrün.
More configurations for the admin list: a date column can be added, and the tags and type column removed.
Agenda items now are by default set to be included in the proposed procedure, making them opt-out instead of opt-in.
The pagination between motions is now enabled by default for new consultations. It also allows browsing through one's own not yet submitted motions.
For importing users, a new mechanism for batch-importing users by uploading a CSV file was added - designed for cases where more than a thousand users need to be added.
A way to support newer PDF files without having to use a commercial license of fpdi was added, using the qpdf command line tool.
A better PDF layout is preconfigured, if Weasyprint-based PDF rendering is enabled.
Private notes can be disabled for individual users, e.g. for designated shared accounts.
Bugfix: The "My Account" page showed consultations where the user did not actually have access.
Bugfix: In some situations, saving a motion could duplicate the initiator of it.
Bugfix: If one tried to export documents from the motion list, but no matching motions were found, the error messages were misleading.
Many text fragments that were static before (like alert boxes) can now also be translated and changed on the admin page.
A new console command
yii site/createbootstraps the first site and its admin user without going through the web installer (useful for multisite setups, where setting config/INSTALLING would force every other instance into installer mode).WARNING
the web-based updater has a known, unsolvable issue on macOS for version 4.17.0. See https://github.com/CatoTH/antragsgruen/blob/main/docs/UPGRADING.md on how to work around it.

Bugfix: Deleting agenda items was not possible when a speaking list was attached to it.
The logging mechanism now integrates with OpenTelemetry if used.

Bugfix
- The amendment admin page could break if an agenda-based home page was set up.
- The view cache of proposed procedures (used on the admin page) was not updated when modified adoptions were changed retrospectively.
- Amendments with the same prefix could not be shown on the home page when they were assigned to the same agenda item.
- Validate the login method used by logged in user.
- If a proposed procedure is that an amendment is obsoleted by a different modified amendment, whose proposal is not visible yet, users whose feedback was requested could not see that modified amendment.
- Depending on database engine, creating a proposed procedure and publishing it right away lead to an internal error.

v4.16.0
antragsgruen releases major improvements to agendas, speaking lists, exports, search, proposed procedures, and voting. It adds separate agenda editing, async background jobs, richer motion and amendment handling, better projector and mobile views, plus bug fixes for section length and vote totals.
The agenda and speaking lists were improved in several ways
Each agenda item can now have its dedicated speaking list.
Multiple speaking lists can be open at the same time, if they are assigned to different agenda items.
Editing the agenda is now done on a separate page, allowing better caching and removing long-legacy JS-Libraries.
The permission to edit the agenda can now be granted independent of other permissions.
Speaking lists now have a function to randomize the waiting list.
An optional mechanism for background job execution is introduced, making it possible to send e-mails asynchronously (therefore not blocking regular requests).
The deadline circle at the top of the homepage now also shows dates if more than one future deadline exists. It can also be deactivated entirely.
The export functions for motions in the admin list now allow to combine one or multiple motion types, with all motion types being selected by default.
The export function now also optionally allows to export old versions of motions and amendments to old versions.
The consultation-wide search now also searches for the name of proposers of motions / amendments.
The small-screen main menu now also has the full-text search.
The projector view now also shows links to the previous / next motions, if activated for the main motion view.
When collecting support before official motion/amendment submission, the "Submitted" date field now refers to the time of final submission, not initial creation.
Motion types now support a section type "Choices", to have the submitter of a document choose for a given set of options, via radio-buttons or a dropdown-menu.
Amendments are now prefixed with "AM", not "Ä". The prefix can be changed through the language-setting.
Amendments have a separate list of tags that users can choose from, different from the tags available for motions.
Amendments to Statute Amendments are now better supported
On the home page, those amendments are now shown like regular amendments, not like stand-alone motions.
These amendments now show the base statute amendment and the changed version next to each other, for easier comparison.
Many improvements regarding the proposed procedures
There can be multiple versions of proposed procedures; admins can publish one or notify users about one, and internally already work on a new version of the proposal.
When proposers of motions or amendments are being asked for feedback, they can now also reject the proposal.
When accepting or rejecting a proposal, the users can now also provide a comment to the admins, explaining their decision. They can also update their decision later on.
When sending the notification about a proposed procedure to the proposer a second time, it is possible to manually enter the notification text, as with the initial notifcation.
The internal notes / comments to a proposed proposed procedure now also log the messages sent to the submitter, the acceptance / rejection of the submitter, and the publication of the proposal.
The internal notes / comments field can now be maximized for easier reading.
Searching for specific proposed procedures or responses by the user in the admin list now also considers motions, not only amendments.
"Obsoleted by other Motion" and "Obsoleted by other Amendment" can now both be chosen as proposed procedure status.
When editing the modified version of a proposed procedure, more amendments are checked for collissions.
The internal proposed procedure list can also be opened minimalized, without showing admin comments and tags.
Bugfix: The maximum length of a section could be set to an invalid value.
Bugfix: In Yes/No-votings, the overall number of votes was not shown correctly.

v4.15.3
antragsgruen adds voting privacy controls, speaker list visibility options and fixes motion copying and SMTP bugs.
For votings, it is now possible to set if the e-mail-address, the name or the organization of the voters is to be displayed (if at all).
On speaking list, it is now possible to not show the list of applicants in the publicly visible speaking list view.
Bugfix: When copying a motion to a different consultation, the tags and the version were not transferred.
Bugfix: Sending e-mails via SMTP only worked with SMTP Servers requiring authentication. (thanks to tiran133)
Bugfix: Amending motions with list items was broken if amendments were to only affect one particular place.

v4.15.2
antragsgruen adds smoother consultation cloning, now copying the agenda by default, and fixes several issues with amendments, motion visibility, permission handling, mobile menus, support notifications, and broken drafts after motion type changes.
When cloning a consultation, the agenda is now also copied by default.
Bugfix: Editing and withdrawing amendments was not available as menu items on small screened devices.
Bugfix: When cloning consultations with user groups that have administrative permissions to only a subset of motions, these restrictions were not copied to the new consultation.
Bugfix: The "My Motions" sections could show not accessible new versions of submitted motions.
Bugfix: If motions/amendments submitted by organizations received additional support by users (not necessary for submission), an irrelevant notification about minimum support could be sent.
Bugfix: Multiple line breaks without starting a new paragraph in a motion could lead to empty deletions in the amendment view.
Bugfix: Amendments were often broken when a new section was added to the motion type after a motion of this type has already been created.

v4.15.1
antragsgruen adds a reference page link next to motion and amendment status dropdowns and fixes several issues, including home page file uploads, voting display, document group sorting, two-factor login flow, amendment creation, and activity log entries.
Next to the status-dropdown for motions and amendments, there is now a link to a reference page, explaining the uses of these different statuses.
Bugfixes
- Uploading files from the home page did not work properly.
- If a voting was set to be shown in a motion view, it was not shown on the dedicated voting page anymore.
- Sorting document groups on the separate document page did not work properly.
- Some tabs opened in parallel could interfere with logging in using a second factor.
- When logging in using a second factor, one would always end up in the site home page, not the page where one started the login.
- Some empty paragraphs could lead to problems with creating amendments if only one paragraph could be changed.
- The activity log did not show some actions related to supporting/liking motions or amendments.
