CrossWatch v0.11.6
This release includes several caching methods, which should result in faster page loads when content is cached.

Improved: Plex watcher skips metadata lookups for playback that no route accepts.
Improved: Added a Plex route option Unresolved user fallback.
Improved: Stremio episode history dates no longer drift from later show playback.
Improved: Stremio watchlist rows now keep TMDB ids when metadata is available, so watchlist covers resolve more reliably.
Improved: Main and Profile dashboard widgets now reuse cached data on refresh when nothing changed.
Improved: Watchlist API responses now include version checks so the UI can skip unnecessary rebuilds.
Improved: Watchlist page now reuses cached data and row metadata for faster refreshes.

CrossWatch ships v0.11.1 with a major SQLite-backed runtime overhaul, early multi-user support, stronger authentication, and database-based diagnostics. It also adds rewatch syncing, import tools, new PunchPlay and Scrob trackers, and improved anime ID mapping and profile-aware workflows.
CrossWatch v0.11.1
Updated to version 0.11.1 to include some improvements and bugfixes, still fully based on v0.11.0
This is a massive release. CW now uses a native SQLite database backend for core runtime data and introduces multi user support.
Managed user support (multi-users) is still in very early development, so read the wiki pages before using it.
Its simple: When using managed users, create: dedicated provider instances, Sync Pairs, Watcher routes, etc allocatd to a user profile -> user acccount. NOTE: You only need to confiure user profiles if your goal is to link them and create seperate Managed Users accounts.
This release introduces major architectural changes, so expect new bugs.
IMPORTANT:
Your config.json will be rewriten.
Existing sync data and manual overrides are not migrated.
Older .json files are moved into /config/legacy.
Gettings your data back is easy, just sync.
β¨ Highlights
Native SQLite backend for CW runtime state. Your current events database will be extended.
State, last sync data, statistics, watchlist hide rules, activity, currently watching data and sync reports are now database-backed.
Multi-user (by delegation) with administrator and managed user accounts (readonly and full access).
Managed users can be linked to user profiles, so they only see and use the provider instances/resources assigned to them.
User profiles can group provider instances, sync pairs, watcher routes and webhook routes under the same person.
Read-only managed users get scoped access to Main, Watchlist, Playback and their own profile page.
Full-access managed users can work with their assigned profile/resources without seeing unrelated users' data.
Maintenance now has database diagnostics, table counts and integrity checks.
Editor now works against the database-backed state and has improved table controls.
Rewatches option: sync repeat plays as separate watch events instead of a single "watched" flag for compatible providers.
Import: bring tracker files straight into CW tracker, no connections needed (for example for Trakt)
New tracker: PunchPlay, covering watchlist, ratings, history, progress and playback progress, plus scrobbling.
New tracker: Scrob, covering watchlist, ratings, history, progress and playback progress, plus scrobbling.
Better Anime ID mapping: episode level mapping for SIMKL, resolution out to the other providers and your own overrides.
Beter Authentication support with 2-Factor Auth, OIDC, Plex-SSO (for all users)
Providers now work without a default connection, named profiles only are fully supported.
Connection cards now show configured profile names and clearly indicate when Default is used.
π§ Fixes & Improvements
Improved: Core sync state no longer depends on state.json as the active runtime store.
Improved: State writes are more targeted and avoid unnecessary full-state rewrites where possible.
Improved: Dashboard widgets, watchlist views, recent activity and scrobble history now use database-backed reads.
Improved: Managed user views are scoped to their assigned user profile.
Improved: Currently watching cards now respect profile/resource ownership for shared media servers.
Improved: Editor pagination now defaults to 50 rows and supports 50, 100, 150 and 200 rows.
Improved: Editor columns can now be shown or hidden from a compact column filter.
Improved: Maintenance cleanup and diagnostics are aligned with the new database backend.
Improved: Sync reports are stored in the database instead of a growing sync_reports folder.
Improved: Auto-remove / dedupe runtime data is stored in SQLite.
Improved: Old JSON-backed UI paths now read from the database-backed services.
Improved: Anime ID Mapping modal reworked, includes import and exports.
Added: Audit events for account/session activity.
Added: Rewatch support: repeat plays can sync as separate watch events for supported providers.
Added: Import provider export files into the CW tracker, with a preview step first.
Added: PunchPlay provider with device code sign in, covering watchlist, ratings, history, progress and playback progress.
Added: PunchPlay scrobbling through the watcher, plus webhook ratings and a playback progress adapter.
Added: Scrob provider, covering watchlist, ratings, history, progress and playback progress.
Added: Scrob scrobbling support through the watcher.
Added: Custom anime mappings for the cases where the automatic mapping gets it wrong.
Fixed: Profile only providers were incorrectly reported as not connected.
Fixed: Status checks, counters and tooltips now use the actual configured profiles.
Fixed: Connection deletion now works correctly when no default connection exists.
Fixed: Unable to save a new TMDB key issue is solved.
Improved: Profile cards handle long names and multiple profiles more clearly.
Updated: CW Release version to v0.11.1.

Highlights
New experimental Anime episode mapping, fixes anime landing to SIMKL.

- Added: New scheduler webhook option, Alert on unresolved items.
- Added: Unresolved count pill next to the sync status badge.

- Fixed: PublicMetaDB ratings 409 conflict handling.
- Fixed: PMS probe for shared Plex servers.
- Fixed: Playback Progress provider timeouts caused by slow TMDB lookups.
- Fixed: Dashboard widgets no longer resolve TMDB artwork for every item.
- Updated: CW Release version to v0.10.10.
Anime episode mapping
SIMKL numbers anime as one long run of episodes, while Trakt, Plex, Jellyfin, MDBList and PublicMetaDB use normal aired seasons.
Dragon Ball Z S02E13 on your side is episode 52 on SIMKL, so it could previously land on the wrong episode or not sync at all.
CW can now translate between the two.
Enable it per sync pair under History -> Anime episode mapping. Off by default.
Requires a TMDB metadata key. Without one the option stays disabled.
Uses a local mapping database, downloaded once, approximately 9 MB, and used offline afterwards.
Handles split cour shows
Only writes when several anime databases agree and the show matches on SIMKL.
Applies to history syncing into SIMKL. Other pairs already agree on numbering and are untouched.
Specials, season 0, and movies are not translated.
