Dashlane improves activity logs with richer event context and updates 2FA recovery code generation for better security.

    Two updates:

    • Our activity logs now include IP address, geolocation, device context and Autonomous System Number (ASN) on every event.

    • For security reasons, we’ve disabled the link to generate 2-factor authentication (2FA) recovery codes. If you lose the recovery codes provided when you set up 2FA, you can now generate new codes directly from the Dashlane login page.

Dashlane adds Android security checks for new-device logins, ARK, and account deletion with email or 2FA verification.

In the Android app, a security check is performed when you log in on a new device, use ARK, delete your account, and more. This security check confirms that the request is genuine, so attackers can't fake the process or trick you into a fraudulent request on a fake website. You’re then asked to provide an email verification code or a 2FA token.
