Mapy.com Release Notes

In the route planner and navigation for pedestrians and cyclists, you will now find warnings about difficult sections. So that you always know in advance whether there are passages along the way that could be beyond your abilities.

With HorizontAR, you can now also photograph the peaks, and you can save and share the photo. You can also easily find out the distance to the peak from you by tapping on its name. The feature is part of Mapy.com Premium, otherwise it is available 5× for free.

With Mapy.com Premium, you can now organize your saved points and routes in the My Mapy section into subfolders. This will give you an even better overview of your plans and trips.

When updating offline maps, you now only download a portion of the map. For example, with the map of Switzerland, expect to save up to 45% of storage space. Update your maps today.

With the HorizontAR feature, you can reliably identify the mountains around you, even under a snow cap. Although the feature is part of Mapy.com Premium, you can now try it up to 5 times for free; you just need to be logged in.

Along with navigation, you can now see the route on your wrist. All you need is an iPhone paired with your Apple Watch and the Mapy.com app with a Premium subscription.

We have recently added to Mapy over a billion buildings worldwide.

Check the current water quality directly on the Maps. We now show the latest measurement results from hygiene stations. Information about whether the water is suitable for swimming, including the date of the last inspection, can be found in the details of the water bodies and in a separate search category. Just enter „water quality“.

Discover peaks in augmented reality.

The names and altitudes of peaks in your view are displayed by the HorizontAR feature in the premium version of the app.

We’ve improved the display of rocks and terrain surfaces for Switzerland and Slovenia.

You will now see more detailed rock formations, more accurate contour lines, and improved terrain shading.
