New Feature

Audiobook Listen-Through & Listener Value

Amazon Ads recently enabled US authors, including ACX creators, to advertise audiobook ASINs using Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands. With audiobooks becoming a more important part of author advertising strategies, we have expanded Book Series Stats to help you understand what happens after a listener discovers the first audiobook in your series.

Before you begin

Your audiobook editions may not have been automatically linked to their series. First, open Bookshelf & BSRs, find each audiobook, and make sure it is assigned to the correct Series Name and Number in Series. Series Stats can only include audiobooks that have been linked to the selected series.

Why it’s useful

• Listen-Thru shows how audiobook units progress from one available audiobook edition to the next.
• Cumulative Listen-Thru compares every audiobook with the first included audiobook in the series.
• Royalties Per Listener (RPL) estimates the audiobook royalties generated per listener entering the series.
• Listen-Thru Revenue estimates the downstream audiobook royalty value of one entry listener.
• Audiobook results remain separate from Sell-Thru, Read-Thru, and Royalties Per Reader, so your existing ebook and Kindle Unlimited metrics are not distorted.

How to enable it

1. Open Bookshelf & BSRs and confirm that each audiobook is assigned to the correct series and position.
2. Open Analytics → Book Series Stats.
3. Select the series you want to analyze.
4. Turn on Include Audiobooks beside the “Include free eBooks” switch.
5. The report will refresh and display Audiobook Units, Listen-Thru, Cumulative Listen-Thru, Royalties Per Listener, and Listen-Thru Revenue.

Series positions without audiobook editions are skipped when calculating audiobook progression. Any rows you manually exclude are also excluded from the listener-value metrics.

New Addition

• BookBub Featured Deals Are Now Automatically Imported
  • Starting tomorrow, 30 August 2026, BookBub Featured Deals with a recorded promotion cost will be automatically imported alongside your existing BookBub Ads data.
  • Promotion fees will be included in BookBub Spend, Total Spending, net royalties, profitability calculations, Power Table, API and Luna AI results, and daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
  • Publisher Champ will automatically attempt to assign each Featured Deal to the correct book.
  • Review your imported promotions using the new Featured Deals tab in BookBub Manager.
  • If a promotion cannot be matched automatically, use the yellow Edit button to assign it to a book.
  • Only Featured Deals with a recorded cost are displayed. Use Include in calculations to include or exclude an individual promotion from your results.
  • No action is required if your BookBub account is already connected. Your promotions will be imported during BookBub synchronization.

Publisher Champ for Mac Is Here

• Keep your latest Publisher Champ royalties visible directly from your Mac menu bar.
• Quickly switch between Today, Yesterday, and This Month.
• Choose whether the menu bar highlights your Gross or Net Royalties.
• See gross royalties, advertising spend and expenses, net royalties, KENP reads, and sales broken down by book format.
• Select between your own and authorized Shared Access accounts without changing the account selection on your Publisher Champ dashboard.
• Refresh manually or automatically every 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, or 3 hours.
• Sign in securely through Publisher Champ without manually copying your API key. Your key is stored securely in macOS Keychain.
• Optionally launch Publisher Champ automatically whenever you sign in to or restart your Mac.
• The app checks for new versions and lets you download updates directly without visiting the website.
• Publisher Champ for Mac supports both Apple silicon and Intel Macs running macOS 13 or later.

• Visit Publisher Champ for Mac to download version 0.1.5 and follow the installation guide.
• After installation, Publisher Champ will appear in your Mac menu bar—click the icon whenever you want to view your latest royalties.

Introducing Champ Ultra

• Champ Ultra is our new subscription plan for authors who want AI integrations, personal API access, and easier collaboration.
• Connect Luna AI to ChatGPT, Claude, and other supported AI assistants to explore your Publisher Champ data through natural conversations.
• Use the Publisher Champ API to access the data from your own account without needing to maintain a separate API account.
• Ultra includes one sponsored Shared Access seat for a virtual assistant, accountant, co-author, or another trusted collaborator.
• Your sponsored user can access the data you share without purchasing their own subscription, provided they do not already have an active Publisher Champ subscription.
• You can move your sponsored seat to another eligible Shared Access user whenever your workflow changes.
• The sponsored seat remains active only while your Ultra subscription is active and the seat remains assigned to that user.
• Personal API access and Luna AI connections are also available during your standard 14-day free trial.

Introducing Universe Mode for Book Series Stats

• Analyze reader progression across multiple connected series, sequels, and spin-offs within the same story universe.
• Select one or more series and arrange them in your intended reading order using drag-and-drop or the up and down controls.
• Publisher Champ keeps each series’ existing internal book order and connects the final book of one series to the first book of the next.
• See the estimated Sell-Through and Read-Through between series—for example, from Book 3 of an original trilogy to Book 1 of its sequel series.
• Track cumulative progression, Royalties per Reader, Sell-Through Revenue, and Read-Through Revenue across the complete connected reading journey.
• Temporarily exclude individual books from calculations without changing their saved series or Bookshelf metadata.
• Experiment with different universe reading orders without permanently moving or renumbering your books.
• Universe statistics use aggregated sales and KENP activity. They estimate audience progression but do not identify or track individual readers.

• Performance Goals Are Now Available
  • Set clear performance targets directly on your graphs and see at a glance whether you are on track.
  • Create separate goals for royalties, units sold, orders, KENP reads, spending, and other supported metrics.
  • Your available goal metrics automatically match the graph you have selected.
  • Hover over any date or period to compare your Goal, Actual result, and percentage achieved.
  • A green tick indicates that you achieved at least 100% of your goal.
  • Daily goals automatically scale across weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly graph views.
  • Customize the goal-line color, temporarily hide the line, update your target, or remove the goal whenever you need.
  • Your goals are saved to your Publisher Champ account and remain available across devices.

• Open a supported graph on Dashboard Visual, Dashboard Detailed, Book Stats, Historical Stats, or Ads Monitoring, then select Goals.

• Luna AI Is Now Open to Everyone

  • Luna AI is now available to all Publisher Champ users.
  • Connect Luna directly to Claude, or manually add it to any other AI assistant that supports MCP.
  • The Luna AI page includes the MCP server URL with a convenient copy button: https://mcp.publisherchamp.com/mcp.
  • If you have a paid ChatGPT plan, you can connect Luna manually while we wait for OpenAI to complete its review of our official ChatGPT plugin.
  • We have added a short step-by-step video showing you how to manually connect Luna to ChatGPT.

• Custom Book Formats
  • Create your own book formats, such as Large Print, Signed Edition, Box Set, or Special Edition.
  • Assign custom formats to editions from your Bookshelf or use them with External Royalties/Expenses.
  • Custom formats are supported across Dashboard, Dashboard Lite, Book Stats, comparison reports, Power Table, API, and Luna AI.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly email reports now display active custom formats in dedicated columns, with matching columns included in the Excel attachments.

• Royalties per Reader (RPR) in Series Stats
  • Series Stats now includes Royalties per Reader (RPR), an estimate of the royalties generated by a reader who enters your series and continues through later books.
  • See the exact contribution from every book, including estimated readers, Book and KU royalties, reader reach, royalties per reader, and the final RPR contribution.
  • Estimated readers use included units sold plus whole KU borrows, with fractional borrows rounded down per book.
  • Use Calculate from to model readers entering at a different book, or optionally enable Exclude mid-series starters for a more conservative series-funnel estimate.
  • RPR is also available in Power Table, with RPR Contribution providing the per-book breakdown.

  • Power Table is now available to everyone!
  • Explore your royalties, sales, advertising, expenses, books, authors, countries, platforms, and more in one flexible table.
  • Choose the attributes and metrics you want, arrange them in any order, and Power Table will automatically build and nest the results for you.
  • Expand detailed breakdowns, sort or resize any column, freeze columns, display percentages, save reusable layouts, and export your results as either flat or nested files.
  • Power Table also includes advanced metrics such as Sell-Through, Read-Through, ROI, ROAS, Inorganic Orders, advertising breakdowns, BSR, and more.
  • This is something we have been working on to strengthen Publisher Champ’s analytics and enhance the foundation used by Luna AI, helping Luna become even more intelligent before her release later this month.

  • We are introducing Power Table, a flexible new way to explore your royalties, sales, advertising, expenses, books, authors, countries, platforms, and more.

Enhancement

• Multi-Book External Royalties/Expenses
  • External Royalties/Expenses now lets you assign a one-off or recurring royalty/expense to more than one book at the same time.
  • Use the Book Title(s) selector to choose multiple books when adding or duplicating a royalty/expense.
  • The total amount is split evenly across the selected books before saving. For example, a $100 expense assigned to 4 books creates 4 entries of $25 each.
  • Units sold are also distributed as evenly as possible. For example, 9 units across 4 books becomes 2, 2, 2, and 3 units.
  • A preview now shows exactly how the amount and units will be distributed before you save.
  • The recurring end date field now only appears when you select a recurring frequency.

Enhancement

• Series Stats Calculation Controls

  • Book Series Stats now lets you temporarily exclude individual books from sell-through and read-through calculations.
  • Use the Include in calculation switch on any row to remove that book from the calculation while keeping it visible in the table.
  • This is useful when you want to see how your series sell-through and read-through are affected when certain books are excluded.
  • Excluded books appear faded, and the remaining included books are calculated in sequence without renumbering the original series order.
  • You can also use the new Include free eBooks switch to quickly include or exclude free units from the calculation.

Enhancement

• Smart Link Folders
  • Smart Links now support folders, so you can keep different link workflows separate and easier to manage.
  • Create folders like Ad Attribution, Back Matter, Review Links, or Book Launch by typing a folder name when creating or editing a Smart Link.
  • Filter the Smart Links table by folder to quickly show only the links you need, including a dedicated No folder option for links that have not been assigned yet.
  • When a link is moved to another folder, the visible table updates immediately so the current folder view stays accurate.

Enhancement

• Smart Table Filters
  • Performance tables now support advanced column filters, so you can quickly find books, authors, countries, platforms, or ad results matching the numbers you care about.
  • Add filters like Royalties > 700, Reads between 1,000 and 5,000, or combine multiple column rules with match-all / match-any logic.
  • Filtered table totals update automatically, so the header totals reflect only the rows currently shown.
  • Active filters stay visible with badges and filter chips, making it clear when a table is filtered and easy to remove individual filters.
