New Editor

New

Added a toggle next to color and image controls for setting separate dark theme values. It appears when "Theme Emulation: Dark" is on, so you can set the dark look of an email right in the element settings.

Editor controls

Added drag-to-adjust for counters: hold the cursor on a counter and move the mouse left or right to decrease or increase the value.

Clicking an item in the element action menu, such as Copy or Duplicate, now performs that action. Also added descriptions for these items.

Images

The stock tabs in the image gallery (Seasons, Decoration, AI Image, Photostock, Icons, GIFs) now appear according to your account permissions.

Changed the default alt text for icons in the "Social Networks" block to the full network name instead of the abbreviated one.

Fixed the missing notice in stripe style settings that says background and content colors are inherited from the general stripe settings.

Fixed scrolling in the image gallery's "Email" tab when adding images to an email.

In Smart Elements, a variable value that contains a colon is now saved when you reopen the configuration.

Smart Elements now pull values from a website even when the OG tag contains two colons, such as og:price:amount.

Fixed the widget panel staying open at the start of a drag and covering the drop area.

The "External Data Source" URL field now disappears from the interface after switching to pulling data from a website page.

Fixed an extra tag staying in the email after a calendar event was deleted.

Your Editor, your way — new «Editor» options in your profile, multi-word icon search, clearer imports and a round of fixes

New

Set up the «Editor» once and it stays that way — new options in your profile settings let you show block names next to icons, move the block panel left or right and pick your default «Image gallery» view, and anything you change inside the «Editor» syncs back automatically.

Grab icons for several ideas in one go — type a few words separated by commas in the «Image gallery» icon search and you'll get results for each word in a single list.

You'll always know what you're setting up — project and group settings now show the project name, plus its group if it has one.

Custom roles are easier to set up — «Layout & content» now sits above «Text & images», and once it's set to Manage, the redundant «Text & images» row hides itself on the Email, Template and Module tabs.

Invitations feel personal — the invite notification now says who invited you, to which organization and in what role.

Import via email keeps you in the loop — every import state now has its own clear message, including hints that attachments aren't imported and that you can close the window while you wait.

If Google sign-in is temporarily down, you'll see a heads-up with a link to the status page and a nudge to sign in with your email and password.

Fixed

Code you paste into «HTML» import stays put when you hop to another tab and back.

Editable templates exported to «Klaviyo» keep their structure, content and brand colors and adapt properly to mobile screens.

«Pardot» campaign search in «Export» finds all your existing campaigns, even when you have lots of them.

The «Email Client Testing» counter updates right after each test, so the upgrade button shows up the moment your tests run out, with no page refresh needed.

The «Localization» popover fits mobile screens with no sideways scrolling.

«Data Sources» delay settings stay steady while you edit them — the field now shows its limits and accepts values from 500 ms.

Reworked search across projects, import via email, colored merge tags, separate editor permissions per entity and fixes

Reworked search across the account — it now covers not only the current "Folder" but the whole "Project" and the entire "Workspace", so you can find an email, template or folder in any project you have access to without opening them one by one. Search starts from 1–2 characters via Enter, shows how many items were found, groups results into "Folders" and "Messages" (or "Templates"), and takes tags into account. The search depth checkbox is gone.

Added import via email — open the "Email" tab in "Import Design", copy your project's unique address, choose whether you're importing an email or a template, and forward your design there. "Stripo" processes it and shows a notification with a link straight to the "Editor", plus the status of the last import inside the import window. Available on all plans.

Added a color type to custom merge tags — the merge tag form in "Personalization" now has "Text", "Link" and "Color" tabs, the color tag replaces the preview text field with a color picker, and the tag list shows the chosen color and the tag type.

Cross-project templates are now available when a project has no saved templates and "Basic" and "Pre-built" templates are disabled — admins can keep colleagues building only from approved designs.

Added buttons on "Billing" and "Home" to buy the same extras package again and to resume a cancelled subscription, so repeat purchases no longer raise your subscription limit.

Moved the plan check for "MCP" to the server — "MCP" tools now work for users with at least one workspace on "Medium" or higher, including their "Free" workspaces. Everyone else can log in but sees a message in the chat with a link to pricing.

Added an "Applications" section on the "Integrations" page — third-party apps connected to the account are now collected in one place alongside the ESP connectors.

Migrated the "HubSpot" integration from the deprecated API "v1" to the current version — exports keep working and no reconnection is needed.

Added an expandable panel with an "admin consent" link to the "Outlook Web" connection window — in organizations where "Microsoft Entra" requires admin approval, you can pass the link to your admin instead of contacting support.

Added a "Redirect link" toggle to "Exports" — after a successful export, the notification shows a button that takes you to the email in your "ESP", either by a generated link or by your own static one. For multiple exports to "Mailchimp" with no custom link set, the button is not shown.

Split editor permissions into three independent sets — for emails, templates and modules — and built a new roles interface: read or write access can be granted separately for each entity, and "Content" now has a "Text & Images" state alongside read and write. Image actions in the editor are checked on the server too, so restricted members can't change them outside the interface.

Updated the standard roles window — "Modules", "Themes", "Project Images" and "Exports" moved to the account section, and the asterisk and note next to "Proofreader" were removed.

Fixed the grid not reloading after clearing the search field — it used to require removing focus and scrolling the page.

Fixed members with access to a single project not seeing the "Templates" tab and the shared templates shared into their project.

Fixed modules being duplicated when emails and templates were copied to another organization — repeat copies, retries and batch chunks now reuse the module already copied.

Fixed module export always updating the existing module — "As new" now creates a new module, and "Replace existing" updates it.

Fixed exports made through "MCP" not appearing in export statistics, although the quota was being used.

Play-in-email mode in the "Video" block, merge tag autocomplete in the "Text" block, link checking in mobile view, module and AMP fixes

Added Play-in-email mode to the "Video" block — upload an MP4 and Stripo generates a poster frame and an animated GIF fallback automatically, so the video plays natively where it's supported and falls back to the GIF everywhere else.

Added merge tag autocomplete in the "Text" block — start typing on the canvas and pick the tag from the list instead of entering it by hand.

Added a warning in the "Button" block when icons with different aspect ratios or heights are added — it appears above the Normal and Hover tabs.

The minimum height of the "Spacer" block in "Space" mode is now 1 px, and the interaction area is wider at minimum values.

The "Border" control (width, color, style) is now dynamic and can be set separately for desktop and mobile.

Updated the hint text in the toast shown after copying an element; the info style and the Paste button stay the same.

Replaced the hint icon with a warning icon on the "Make Entire Element Clickable" control.

Added switching between desktop and mobile views in link checking — check links in both views without leaving the mode.

Module export to Braze, Klaviyo and HubSpot, Simplelists integration, new roles interface, and fixes.

Modules now go straight to your ESP.

Added module export to Braze, Klaviyo, and HubSpot — pick the ESP right in the module editor and the module lands in the platform's content library, ready to be reused across emails. Re-export is supported, so an updated module replaces the version you sent earlier instead of creating a duplicate, with a warning before the changes propagate. Module export shares the same quota as email export, and on Free it stays visible but disabled with an upgrade prompt.

Simplelists joined the integration list.

Added a two-step Simplelists connection — enter your API key, then choose a list and set the sender address and name. Stripo creates the message on hold in your Simplelists account instead of sending it to recipients, so you keep control over when it goes out. The subject comes from the email, or from the Stripo email name if no subject is set; re-export is not supported.

You can now select several email types at once when exporting a template to Pardot, and the export no longer breaks because no type was selected — the four single switches were replaced with a multi-select that requires at least one type.

Added a Harden this connection block to the first step of connecting an ESP where credentials are entered manually, with tips on keeping the credentials you store in Stripo safe.

The module library now shows an icon on a module's preview when it has dark styles configured — easier to spot dark-mode-ready options without opening each one.

Reworked the wording and tooltips in the dark mode preview — the copy now explains that it approximates how email clients invert colors and points to the moon control for setting your own values.

Added a new role settings window where permissions are split into steps.

Added a dedicated message for accounts whose password was reset for security reasons — instead of the generic invalid credentials error, the toaster explains what happened and includes a clickable Forgot Password link.

Added recovery for deleted data sources and data services — restore them from the toaster right after deletion, the same way it already works for projects.

Added an active state to the comments button in the header — it gets a green outline on click or via the shortcut and returns to default once you place a pin.

Enabled the Themes control in account settings by default — all active organizations now have it turned on, and new organizations get it enabled from the start.

Fixed empty links wrapping images not being removed on export to Marketo.

Fixed clicks on ESP cards in a project's Integrations section sending a template instead of opening the connection settings.

Fixed the SendPulse export field placeholder — it now says Client ID instead of API Key, matching what SendPulse expects.

Fixed SSO login staying on the login screen when the user already had an active session with the identity provider.

Fixed custom roles that could not be deleted after a user had been invited with that role and then removed from the organization.

External data sources for Smart Elements, new editor shortcuts, Calendar Event Link, and block fixes

Added support for external data sources — you can now connect Google Sheets, RSS, and JSON feeds to Smart Elements.

Added an HTML Support checkbox for "Text" type variables in Smart Elements.

Disabled the "Save Configuration" button until a CSS selector is chosen for the smart container parameter, so incomplete configurations can no longer be saved.

Added the "Line Height" control for text in the "Banner" block.

Upgrade requests for teammates without billing rights, desktop and mobile switching in «URL validation», «VAT» hints at checkout, plus a batch of export and import fixes.

Teammates without billing rights no longer hit a dead end — instead of a plan upgrade window they can't act on, they now send a request straight to the account admin.

See how an email looks on desktop and mobile while you check its links — added a Desktop/Mobile switcher to the «URL validation» header.

Getting your «VAT» number right on the first try is easier — «Billing» and «Checkout» now show the expected format as you fill it in.

Heavy emails export without failing — lifted the size limit that stopped large designs from going through.

Failed «HubSpot» exports no longer eat into your quota — only successful ones count toward the limit now.

Imported emails no longer drag the file extension into their name — «Import Design» leaves the title clean.

Translations added through the «Stripo API» now apply to the email — fixed the case where they saved but never took effect.

«Iconify» icons save to your own «Image Storage» without errors — the failure on upload is gone.

Right-to-left text in Banner and Outlook button and touch editing fixes

New Editor

Added a text direction control to Banner text settings — text in Arabic, Farsi, Urdu, and Hebrew now renders right to left with letters correctly joined instead of isolated.

Fixed

The editor no longer freezes when you move elements inside an email on touch devices.

Full-width buttons set to "Adjust to width" now render at their actual width in Outlook — previously the VML width was taken from the column, so buttons overflowed their containers, spacing between columns disappeared, and the layout shifted right.

The "Restore default styles" control now works in Text blocks.

Users with the "Proofreader" and "Viewer" roles no longer hit an editor error from "Restore default styles" — the control is now disabled for these roles in stripe, structure, and block settings.

Typing a hex value directly into the border color field now applies the color to containers, stripes, and structures — previously it flickered and reverted, so only pasting or the palette worked.

Images in formats the editor converts to PNG, such as WebP, can now be added by external link to Video and Banner blocks with the external link preserved.

The image gallery now opens directly on the "Project" tab when that tab contains images — the "Photostock" tab no longer appears first.

Gmail annotations of the "Preview" type with a single image now save correctly — previously the card was not saved and no error was shown.

Reopening an annotation that already contains an image now shows the image instead of the empty drop zone.

The comment creation popover now closes when you switch from the "Comments" tab to another tab.

Email content no longer jumps horizontally in co-editing when another user's cursor moves outside the visible area.

The lock icon in the lock state control is now 20×20 instead of 16×16, making locked elements easier to spot.

AI images now carry Content Credentials, video in emails gets a workspace switch, sharing options got clearer names, plus editor and billing fixes.

New

Emails with AI-generated images now meet EU AI Act transparency requirements on their own — every image you generate in «Stripo» carries a machine-readable «C2PA» mark from generation through export, so verification tools like «Content Credentials» can confirm its origin without you labelling anything by hand.

Every AI image you generate now proves where it came from — «Stripo» signs it with a machine-readable «C2PA» manifest across all generation models and image editing.

Testing access is now yours to hand out precisely — the testing permission moved to editor permissions and controls the «Send test» and «Email clients testing» tabs, so a teammate can edit an email without sending tests from it.

Sharing options now say exactly what they do — the menus for modules, emails and templates read «Share across projects» and «Share preview link», and the module filter reads «Shared from this project».

The editor shortcuts list now fits any screen — we rebuilt the popup to the new design so it stays fully visible on smaller monitors.

Fixed

Test emails with «AMP» carousels now pass validation just like exported ones — the code generated for «Send test» keeps Outlook conditional comments properly closed, so carousels stay visible to the «AMP» validator.

Copying an email inside the same project keeps your modules as modules — in the copy they stay linked and editable as modules.

Opening a plan link for Free or Prime now lands you on the plans page — «Billing» opens checkout only for plans that actually need paying for.

Read-only teammates can browse and preview ready-made templates freely — «Templates» stays interactive when someone without create rights opens one.

Regenerating your «MCP» «Client ID» gives you a client that authorizes straight away — new clients come with all the required scopes attached.

New Editor

Save the look of an email as a Theme — colors, stripes, headings, and buttons — and apply it to any other email in a couple of clicks. A Theme can be updated, saved as a new one, or switched at any time, so all emails stay in one style.

The AMP Accordion block now has a "Title Radius" control for rounding the corners of the accordion title.

Change History now stores tags and event names, so a version can be found by what it was called instead of by timestamp alone.

Added search in Change History — find the version you need without scrolling through the full list.

Images can now be dragged from the image gallery straight into an email.

When replacing an image, the image gallery now opens on the most relevant tab.

When adding the image shown after a Timer block expires, the image gallery opens with the "Landscape" filter already applied.

Generated text in the email "Title" and "Preheader" fields is now highlighted, so the result is visible immediately.

Selecting cells with different padding values now shows a mixed state in the padding control instead of a single value.

In the code editor, "&" is now converted only when it starts a valid character reference, so ampersands in plain text stay as typed.

The "Decode special characters" control in the code editor now handles "&shy" .

Integration updates, a refreshed default device set in Email Client Testing, role and notification improvements, and fixes.

New

• Added an Auto-update linked campaigns option to MoEngage export settings — when it's on, re-exporting a template pushes the latest version to every campaign that uses it. The option is off by default, and existing connections don't need to be reconnected.
• Updated authentication in the Marketo integration to header-based tokens, so export and sync keep working after Marketo stops accepting access tokens in query parameters on August 31, 2026.
• Updated the default device set — tests now run on a refreshed list of email clients selected by market share and known rendering issues, with duplicate browser and device variants removed. Manual selection from the full catalogue is unchanged.
• Tests now run only on the devices selected in the workspace configuration instead of the full device list.
• The member count on the Members > Roles page now includes users who have a role assigned as a project or group role. A role assigned this way can no longer be deleted while someone still holds it.
• Added access management for Themes through roles — a separate Themes permission is now in the Members > Roles settings and can be enabled for both standard and custom roles.
• Switching between light and dark theme no longer reloads the editor — Version History stays open.
• Comment notifications now name the author, so it's clear who commented, replied, mentioned you, or resolved a thread.

• Fixed the Localization button in the editor header not fitting longer language codes — it now adjusts its width and keeps its padding.

• Integration keys never show up in the open — sensitive fields in «Workspace» and «Security» settings are masked and edited deliberately through a pencil icon with «Save» and «Cancel».
• You know how many seats are free before you invite anyone — the invite tooltip now reads «Bring your team in.» with a live «Free seats left» counter and an upgrade link once it drops to zero.
• Grabbing a folder or category name takes a second — breadcrumb text on «Emails», «Templates» and «Modules» is selectable, and dragging across it no longer starts a card selection box.

Fixed

• Choosing where to copy an email or template behaves predictably — the expand arrow only unfolds the tree, parent and child folders can be selected together, and no checkbox gets stuck.
• Inviting registered and brand-new users together shows one confirmation message at the end instead of two.
• The link in an SSO notification takes you to «Security» in «Settings» rather than the «Emails» tab.
• A project's custom font now carries over into the settings of a group created from it — previously the fields in the group's «Edit font» window stayed empty even though the font was set in the project.
• In «Shared preview», an email now renders on mobile devices in «Landing page view» and «Expanded view» — previously on iPhone only the preview header appeared and the email itself never loaded.
• Unsubscribe merge tags in «Personalization» are named for what they do, so a link value and a ready-made HTML link are no longer labelled the same across «Klaviyo», «Campaign Monitor», «ActiveCampaign» and «Zeta».
• Filtering stock images by orientation works with cached results too, and the square orientation returns images.
• Exporting to «ActiveCampaign» validates your token correctly instead of reporting a 404 for the API URL.
• «AI Assistant» generates a strategy without erroring out when the source list comes back empty.
• Email generation over the API handles plain data sources predictably — numbers, dates, booleans and empty values go through, and JSON structures return a clear error instead of losing the generated email.

• A banner image can have different sizes on desktop and mobile devices: the "Size on mobile" control is available in the editor's mobile view, so a wide image can be scaled down for phones without altering the main layout.
• Each URL in the testing panel shows the link title, anchor, or image alt text beneath it. That is enough to tell similar links apart without opening them.
• Empty links have been moved from the "Links" category to "Unidentified", and mailto: and tel: values are checked for correct format rather than passing the check automatically.
• Access to image actions within CONTENT now depends on the user's role: with CONTENT:textOnly a user can replace an image from the gallery and edit it in Pixie, and with CONTENT:WRITE they can also delete an image and change its URL. The same rules apply everywhere an already-added image is managed, including base blocks and background images.
• Stock images can now be filtered by orientation: the "Form factor" control next to the search bar in the "Photostock" tab narrows results to "Portrait", "Landscape", or "Square", and the selected filter is retained for subsequent searches.
• The comment window no longer covers the text you are commenting on — drag it by the drag handle to any spot in the email. The position is kept while the window is open; reopening the comment brings it back next to its pin.
• Adding an image manually through the "Image Path" field now shows straight away whether it can be edited. For formats other than PNG and JPG, the image editor button is disabled, and a tooltip on hover explains why — both in the "Image" block and in a Smart Element.
• To pick the right link from the list of previously used URLs, you no longer have to guess it from a truncated string: hovering over a shortened item shows a tooltip with the full URL.
• A warning now appears in the button settings if the hover icon differs in height from the default one. A height difference makes the email layout shift when a reader hovers over the button — the warning lets you even out the size before the email reaches the recipient.

Fixed

• The placeholder image appears again in the "Button", "Carousel", "Timer", "Video" and "Banner" blocks when a merge tag is used in the "Image Path" field, so the block stays visible while you work on the email.
• Renaming a custom font in project settings no longer resets its other weights — everything in the font file stays available in the "Font Weight" control, and the new name shows correctly in the font list.
• The "Bullets Default Color" control doesn’t appear in the styles of a "Text" block without a list.
• Stepping up a level from the extra image tab in the "Banner" block now opens the right tab: container, structure, and stripe show their own settings instead of that image's.
• Switching between "Image" blocks with the "Rollover Effect" control enabled no longer hides the rollover image in the block settings, so you can check or replace it without turning the control off and back on.
• Holding ⌘ (Mac) or Alt (Windows) while editing an email no longer changes the cursor or opens a comment window on click — that combination works only in commenting mode.
• Pasting a new URL over a selected button link (Ctrl+V or ⌘+V) now updates the VML link as well, so the button in Outlook goes to the new address instead of the old one.

Choose the language version to test, export to PDF with editable text, and get cleaner exports to your ESPs.

In the testing panel, you can now choose which language version of the email to check — the selector sits next to the test type («EoA», «Spam checker», and so on), and previous results are stored separately for each language, so you can see at a glance what was checked and where.

• You can now check every localization without reloading the editor, because you can pick the language right in the «Testing» panel. Spam checks and email client tests run on the selected localization, and previous results are shown separately for each language.
• Exported PDF files stay editable in «Adobe Acrobat», Google fonts are integrated as real fonts, so text stays text rather than outlines.
• Links to an unsubscribe page or a web version in «Klaviyo» can be attached to any text by adding 2 merge tags with clear names for all interface languages.
• In «Help Center» you can now start a search by pressing «Enter» instead of only clicking the button — that way you find the article you need faster.

Fixed

• Editable templates export to «Klaviyo» without errors; the markup «Klaviyo» refused to accept has been fixed.
• «Custom UTM» has now been added to the «VML» version of a button link, even if the URL already has its own «UTM» parameters, so emails in «Outlook» carry the correct tracking tags.
• Duplicate default merge tags for «Braze» have been removed, and the names now match the tags themselves — for example, «Subscription state (Global)» inserts the global subscription status, and «Custom Event Properties» inserts custom event properties.
• Getting an «Ontraport» key is faster; the «Export» hint links to a user guide rather than developer documentation.
• The «Export Report» is now generated for any month. Previously, opening the report on the 31st day of the month caused an error.
• Timers on a transparent background keep counting down in Outlook. These clients receive an animated «GIF», so subscribers see a live countdown rather than a static image.
• An invited member's access to projects is saved exactly as you set it. Previously, after selecting «Some projects», the notification «Member updated successfully» appeared, but the checkmarks were cleared when the window was reopened.
• Project roles work in a workspace with a single project. Previously, the form allowed you to assign a role, but an error occurred during saving.
• Signing in after a password reset works on accounts with 2FA. You get to the code entry screen and go straight in.
• Notifications about members, roles, and «SSO» explain what happened and what to do next in plain language.
• Email client test versions are numbered sequentially, with the most recent test having the highest number and appearing first.
• The «Share» window stays in place while you copy the link, so it doesn't jump to the top of the screen.
