Stripo.email Release Notes

Custom categories for modules, expansion and improvement of bulk actions for modules, emails, and templates, page redesign, fixes for project opening issues, and other improvements.

We are expanding module management functionality, and now you can create custom categories and assign your modules to them for easier organization and navigation in your module library.

New

• Added the ability to assign multiple tags and categories to modules on the “Modules” page.
• Improved bulk actions for emails/templates and modules.

• Removed email weight information from the “View information” menu of the email.

• Improved merge tag validation for spam checking of emails/templates.

Fixed

• The size of module filtering selectors changes depending on the length of the selected option.
• It is possible to create an srt rule by specifying an empty string in the name via the Stripo API.
• Shared modules within a project do not open in the editor on the “Modules” page.

Keep Module Styles — more predictable way to reuse modules — with full control over their appearance

We’ve introduced a new control when saving modules that allows you to preserve their original styles.

When this control is enabled, modules are saved not only with their content and layout, but also with all their styles — including fonts, spacing, colors, and other visual settings. This ensures that when you reuse a module in another email, it looks exactly the same and is not affected by the current email’s global styles.

In the “Carousel” block, a label has been added to options supported only in the AMP version.

Added the closing of the comment popover after its creation.

Changed the logic of applying styles for containers.

Changed the placeholder text in the comment popup for interactive preview.

Improved work with synchronized modules using the contextual popover.

Added clarification for comments left on a deleted element.

In the editor’s component panel, a shadow is now displayed for hidden elements.

Updated the selector ".es-menu td" in the default CSS.

Added the "Recently Used" filter for sorting modules in the module gallery.

Added 1:1 (square) ratio in Crop Pixi.

Optimized the weight of compiled HTML by merging adjacent strips with the same parameters.

Increased the character limit for Alt text in editor blocks.

Removed the hiding of the "Message Settings" tab when default styles are disabled.

Added a delay before sending the module search request.

Fixed:

Fixed appearance bugs in tables in the “Text” block.

After setting bold and italic in header settings, these changes do not reset individually for the text.

Icon filtering by style and category in the “Images” block does not work.

It is not possible to edit styles of the “Button” block when hovering in a module added to another email.

The size of previously edited text in the “Banner” block does not change.

Additional font links are added when dropping a module with custom fonts disabled.

Custom merge tags break when translating the “Text” block using AI.

The "Play" button type is not specified if the “Video” block was added in the old editor.

During export, the special symbol % used in UTM-parameter is not converted.

Hidden controls for the “Accordion” and “Carousel” blocks have been restored.

When adding a module to an email for the first time, the button width is incorrect in mobile view.

Fixed console errors when selecting dark mode in email display modes.

The structure of the “Image” block breaks with the Rollover effect enabled when deleting the main image.

The module is added twice when clicking “Undo” > “Redo” after switching from the old editor to the new one.

Data does not load into the smart structure from the link.

The “Menu” block alignment class is not removed from the block code after enabling the “Fit to Container” control, if the alignment was changed for mobile before enabling.

The “Menu” block does not display centered in the editor in mobile view after applying the "center" alignment in mobile view.

When adding new rows to the table, they do not inherit the background color and divider.

The "width" attribute is removed after turning off the “Fit to Container” control in the “Menu” block.

The bgcolor="transparent" attribute is removed when a transparent color is selected.

The previous version of the email is displayed in the exported HTML file.

Icons and hide borders are duplicated for desktop in mobile view.

In mobile view, the email is stuck to the right edge and does not scroll if there is a very long word in the “Text” block.

Focus is not activated in the field when switching between input fields using the TAB key.

An error occurs when selecting the date with time zones for Mumbai/India/Asia in the “Timer” block.

It is not possible to restore or update the synchronized module.

The "&" symbol is converted in the “Text” block after creating the module in the Modules section.

The modified background color does not apply in the “Success” tab if a transparent background was previously set in the “Form” block.

The active tab in the “Form” block is not highlighted if a different “Form” block was previously selected.

The width of the “Button” block in the VML code does not change when “Fit to Width for Desktop” is enabled and the number of containers is increased.

Fixed the addition of a large number of comment popovers using the ALT key.

The “title” value from a previously added image remains after replacing the image.

The username of the current user viewing the email/template is displayed on the interactive preview of the email/template.

The search field icon does not appear in the module gallery.

Styles are displayed when hovering over the “Button” block with the “Button Styles on Hover” control turned off.

The tag changes to in the block when opening in the new editor.

Container hiding for desktop/mobile does not work correctly for non-responsive structures.

Button styles are added outside the comment in the custom CSS, and the preview styles on hover do not work correctly.

Comments in custom CSS are not removed after deleting the “Button” block.

Elements disappear when turning off their display on desktop and with the “Show Hidden Elements” control enabled in the “View Settings”.

Fixed the ability to open modules from the website in the editor.

• A user with the "Admin" role but partial access to company projects cannot invite users to the company.
• The "%" symbol in the "UTM-tag" value is encoded when exporting/testing/previewing links added with them to the editor, provided UTM is enabled in the email/template.
• The screenshot of the email, created from an email/template saved in the old editor, is misaligned.
• An error occurs on the merge tag size when editing merge tags, especially if one of the added merge tags is long and contains many special characters.

Now you can customize the app’s appearance by choosing a theme and wallpaper through the built-in settings.
