Tally Release Notes

We've given conditional logic a fresh new look and feel. Cleaner interactions, better keyboard support, a more consistent design, but above all easier to use across the board.

Tally forms are now more accessible for keyboard and screen reader users. We've fixed navigation gaps across ranking, time, phone, rating, matrix, and dropdown fields, so more people can fill out your forms without friction.

Build, edit, and troubleshoot forms in plain language, Tally AI is now available to everyone. Describe the form you need, upload an existing one to recreate it, apply your branding automatically, or ask Tally AI to fix a broken logic rule or translate your form, all from a chat window in the editor.

You can now import your existing Typeform forms in one click. Connect your Typeform account, pick the forms you want, and Tally rebuilds them for free.

You can now organize your forms into folders inside any workspace. Create nested folders up to 10 levels deep, move forms with a picker, and rename or delete folders, all from the home page or sidebar. Available on Pro.

Connect Tally to Attio and trigger workflows automatically whenever someone submits your form. Each field comes through as a typed output and is ready to create records, update contacts, or kick off any automation in your Attio workspace.

If you're part of multiple workspaces, your dashboard can get long fast. You can now collapse workspaces you don't need in view, so you can focus on what's relevant without the scroll.

Finding the right font just got easier. The font selector in the form builder now has a dedicated search field — type to filter from 900+ Google Fonts instantly, without losing track of your current selection.

Write proper expressions to power your calculated fields. Combine multiple operations in one go, reference any field with @ mentions, concatenate text, and get real-time validation. No more chaining separate logic steps.

PDF exports are now available for every submission as download links when using our integration with Zapier, Make, n8n, Webhooks, Notion, and Airtable.

Use them to automatically route, store, or attach PDFs as part of a larger workflow.

Get a clean PDF copy of every submission delivered straight to your inbox. Just toggle on the new attachment option in your email notification settings. It works for both self and respondent emails.

Visualize your form responses right from the Insights tab. See bar & pie charts, averages, medians, and automatic NPS and CSAT scores, so you can understand your data at a glance, without exporting a single spreadsheet.

Export any form submission as a PDF in one click. Perfect for contracts, order confirmations, or sharing submissions with stakeholders — the PDF uses your form's existing theme and layout.

Long multi-page forms got easier to manage. Fold any page in the form builder to collapse its blocks and then move, duplicate, or delete the whole page in one go.

Until now, conditional logic let you show or hide individual blocks or questions. With this update, you can select entire pages in one click, making it much easier to manage logic in multi-page forms.

You can now send Tally form submissions to an existing Google Spreadsheet and sheet. Previously, Tally always created a new sheet by default.
