SC paperfolder: When adding an item to an not-yet-existent paper folder while being within the paper folder path, the list could throw a bogus "The system cannot find the path specified." error. Fixed.

Xyplorer improves failed searches in edit-box Find dialogs and fixes menu flipping that could crash the app.

Better handling of failure to find. Instead of being hit with an old-school message box that makes a "ding" sound, you will now silently return to the Find dialog to either cancel or refine your search.

Toolbar | Menu Flipper

Moving the mouse over the next menu button while the current menu is open should automatically and without clicks close the current menu and open the hovered menu. That's the menu flipper. But it had stopped working for a couple of versions, and in v28.40.0404 it hard-crashed the app. Fixed.

Xyplorer adds a new Info Panel tab control, improves button contrast, and fixes preview-window resizing and an Alt+S exit shortcut collision.
Glow-Up: Created a brand new TabControl. The first instance can be seen in the Report tab of the Info Panel. Keyboard focus and mnemonics not yet working.

Glow-Up: Better button contrast, especially in light mode.

Floating Preview Window State: Changing the current preview file (and thus the window title bar) would reset the window from maximized to normal, but keep the size. Fixed.

Address Bar: Pressing Alt+S in the Address Bar (or in the Live Filter Box) triggered File | Exit (Alt+F4) because of an unholy collision of ASCII "s" (115) and the keycode of F4 (115). Fixed.

Small Lists: Now you can toggle "Show Line Numbers" via context menu. FYI, this raises the LineNumbers tweak to the UI.

Xyplorer adds a SplitButton for quick actions and dropdown options, plus a one-click way to remove nonexistent file paths from lists.

Glow-Up

Created a new control, the SplitButton, a two-part button with a caption and a chevron. Clicking the caption triggers immediate action, clicking the chevron opens a dropdown menu with additional action options. Unlike the DropDownButton, the caption does not change after an item is selected from the dropdown menu, and the selection immediately triggers an action.

List Management

Lists with file paths now have the new SplitButton with exactly one option in the dropdown: Remove Non-Existent Items. Click it to clean up your list of outdated entries.

Xyplorer adds experimental ~ shortcuts for user folders and fixes mouse-wheel scrolling issues.
User Folder Shortcut: Experimentally, the new Win11 shortcut to the user profile folder is supported: ~ (tilde). For example, "~\Downloads" will bring you to C:\Users[USER]\Downloads. Alternatively, you can still use %USERPROFILE% or shell:profile as shortcuts.

Scrolling by Wheel: Issues on some system since v28.40.0207. Fixed.

SC inputselect: Since v28.30.1306, showing line numbers by flag 4096 no longer worked when line numbers were globally tweaked off. Fixed.
