Bulk request approval from Calendar view
Planable adds batch post approvals in Calendar, letting teams send multiple posts for review with approvers and notes in one action.
Select multiple posts in the Calendar and send them all for approval in one action. Pick your approvers, add an optional note, and you're done.
You no longer have to open each post individually to request approval — which can quickly add up when you're prepping a full week of content across multiple clients. Now you can batch it.
Available on Pro and Enterprise plans.

Drag into timeslots
Planable now assigns times automatically when posts are dropped into predefined calendar timeslots, cutting scheduling clicks.
When you drag a post into a predefined timeslot on the calendar, the time gets assigned automatically.
Before, dragging a post meant landing it on the right day — then opening it to set the right time. Now, if you've set up timeslots, the post snaps to the correct time the moment you drop it.
Fewer clicks, fewer chances to accidentally schedule something at 3 AM.

Sprout Social expands X Shares reporting with a fuller engagement view that now combines Reposts, Quotes, and Post Shares. It also adds separate Quotes and Post Shares metrics plus new average-per-post reporting for deeper analysis.
Enhanced X (Twitter) Shared Metrics
We are excited to announce an update to how X (formerly Twitter) Shares are calculated in Sprout Social. This change provides a more comprehensive view of how your content is being shared across the platform.
New Definition of "Shares"
Previously, the Shares metric for X only included native Reposts. To align with the full range of sharing behavior on X, the Shares metric now represents the combined total of three distinct actions:
- Reposts: Standard native retweets of your posts.
- Post Level: Contains Paid and Organic metrics
- Profile Level: Organic metrics
- Quotes: Quote-tweets where users add their own commentary.
- Post Level: Contains Paid and Organic metrics
- Profile Level: Organic metrics
- Post Shares: External shares of the post link, such as via Direct Messages or third-party applications.
- Post Level: Organic metrics
- Profile Level: Organic metrics
Key Benefits
- Increased Visibility: You will likely see an increase in your Shares count as it now captures a fuller picture of audience engagement.
- Granular Reporting: In addition to the aggregate Shares metric, Quotes and Post Shares are now available as individual metrics.
- New Averages: You can now track "Average Post Shares per Post" and "Average Quotes per Post" for deeper performance analysis.
Note: For customers whose Engagement metric includes Shares, you may also see a proportional increase in your overall Engagement totals.

Planable x Zapier integration
Planable adds no-code Zapier integration to pull content in, send alerts, and keep full approval workflows intact.
Connect Planable to the tools your team already uses, no code required.
With Zapier, you can pull content into Planable from Airtable, Notion, Asana, ClickUp, Monday, Google Sheets, and thousands more.
Push Google Drive files straight to your media library, get Slack or Teams notifications when posts are approved or published, and set up the most common workflows in minutes with pre-built templates.
The important part: posts created through Zapier still go through your full approval workflow. The integration handles intake, Planable handles quality control.
Here's how it works.

New Instagram Metrics
Later Social adds Reposts, Skip Rate, Crossposted Views, and Facebook Views metrics for deeper content performance insights.
With the new Reposts metric, you can see how often your content (Posts, Stories, and Reels) is being shared and get a clear idea of what’s resonating with your audience.
We’ve also added Skip Rate, Crossposted Views, and Facebook Views to the Reel Performance tab to give you deeper insights into how your content performs in Meta—so you can double down on what works and improve what doesn’t.
Note: Crossposted Views and Facebook Views are only available for crossposted content created within Meta (not Later).
