UNIFIDECK v0.7.6

Added itch.io as a new store, game de-dupe across stores, and a way to highlight games that you already own on other stores (happy autumn sale!)

New Features

Added itch.io. Sign in through the usual login window to install linux and windows games. You can also play HTML5 games via browser. If you want add Free games to your library, add them to a collection and they will show up after sync.

Added an "owned elsewhere" banner to Steam Store pages in Gaming Mode. It lists the other stores where you already own the game, and you can turn it off in the Quick Access Menu.

Changed Xbox sign-in to Microsoft's code-based sign-in to allow for broader entitlements, so the Steam Store banner can also show the Xbox games you own.

Added a "Group duplicates" option that shows a single tile for a game you own on several stores. Thanks @kmturley

Added Battle.net free-to-play and subscription games, such as World of Warcraft, Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm, to your library.

UI Update The Quick Access Menu now uses Decky UI elements, with scrolling labels for long names. Thanks @kmturley

Major Issues Fixed

Fixed Steam crashing when a game's details page opened before Steam had finished loading it.

Fixed the Stop button not closing some games properly.

Fixed Warcraft III: Reforged sign-in failing with a "check your VPN" error.

Fixed other plugins and themes, such as Grey Uninstalled games (CSS Loader), TabMaster's Installed filter, etc seeing every Unifideck game as installed. Thanks @HoLuLuLu

Fixed library tabs still showing for stores you had signed out of.

Fixed games failing to launch when an incomplete GE-Proton was already on disk. Unifideck now downloads a fresh copy instead of reusing it.

Notes

After this update, your Microsoft account will be logged out and you will need to login again with the new method.

UNIFIDECK v0.7.5

Added GameVault support, for installing and running DRM-Free games via Unifideck.

New Features

Added GameVault, so you can browse and install from your own GameVault server or from local folder of game files (Thanks @stm85). See guide here - Unifideck-GameVault-Setup.pdf

Added support for GE-Proton installed outside Unifideck, such as through ProtonPlus. Unifideck can now use existing protons instead of downloading them again. Thanks @EricwanAR

Added a way to open logged in stores from the plugin UI. You can use the Cart icon to open the store's landing page/launcher.

Improved the plugin updater. UI is more compact now and update options open in a new popup.

Added a visible badge when Unifideck has stopped retrying a game that keeps failing to launch, with a button to reset it and try again.

Added better support for Steam Machine and its own tab and compatibility classifications.

Fixed games launching behind Steam's loading screen instead of coming to the front.

Fixed being signed out of your stores after switching Proton version.

Fixed Battle.net sign-in failing in certain scenarios.

Fixed a finished install being marked cancelled, so the game never appeared in your library.

Fixed the Play button still offering Install for a game that had just finished installing.

Fixed a download row that could not be cancelled and never cleared.

Fixed cancelling a download leaving work running in the background.

Fixed an interrupted GE-Proton download leaving a broken copy behind.

Fixed selected Proton version not taking effect in some cases. Thanks @stm85

Fixed manually added non-Steam shortcuts being removed by a library sync.

Fixed launch options support.

Fixed the Update button on the Downloads page showing no highlight on controller focus. Thanks @FreudsCAT

Improved sync so it skips work it already did and repairs metadata left behind by an interrupted run.

Notes

If the plugin update installation gets stuck, please uninstall the plugin and install the attached installation file manually.

Restart Steam after a sync or cleanup so the library refreshes fully.

The bundled GOG CLI was updated, which seems to have fixed stalling GOG downloads.

Capture Logs now includes a short history of Unifideck's own memory use, which helps us diagnose slowdowns.
