You can now read the field layout of an entire Document Group or Document Group Template in a single API call, instead of requesting each document separately.

• New: GET /v2/document-group-templates/{dgt_id} returns the template, its documents in order, and their roles.
• Extended: GET /v2/document-groups/{dg_id} now accepts documents.fields in the include parameter.

Add include=documents.fields to either request to retrieve documents[].fields. Each field uses the same object structure as GET /document/{document_id}, including type, role, and json_attributes (position, size, required, name, label, and prefilled text).

Without this parameter, fields are not returned.

This update makes it easier to check field configurations and identify which fields to pre-fill before sending an invite.

The SignNow Power Automate connector now recognizes Workspace Team Folders across all relevant actions. You can select documents, templates, document groups, and document group templates stored in shared team folders directly from the connector's pickers — no workarounds or manual copying required. A new folder picker surfaces both your personal folders and every Workspace Team Folder you belong to, so you can build automation flows against shared team content as seamlessly as private content. Two new actions — Get Folders and Move to Folder — give your flows the ability to discover folder structures at runtime and organize items into the right team locations automatically.

When you configure any action that references a document or document group, the picker now includes Workspace Team Folder content alongside your personal items. The Get Document List, Get Document Groups, and Get Document Information actions return folder and team details for each item, so your flows can identify where shared content lives. The Move to Folder action lets you place documents, templates, and groups into any folder your team manages, with optional settings for moving related items together. All existing flows continue to work without edits — the update only adds new actions, inputs, and response fields. Once Microsoft certifies the updated connector, the new capabilities become available in both US and EU regions.

SignNow now displays a dedicated empty state when you open a templates folder that contains no templates yet. This applies to both the root Templates folder and any subfolders you create, giving you clear guidance on what templates are and how they can streamline your document workflows. Once you create your first template in a folder, the empty state automatically transitions to your template list.

When you open an empty templates folder, you see an informative illustration, a brief explanation, and a clear call to action to get started. Selecting the CTA opens the uploader, where a new "See how templates save time" menu option helps you understand the value of templates before you begin. On mobile, you can tap the Upload button to open your device's file picker directly. This guided experience ensures you always know your next step when working with templates.

SignNow now exposes two new fields in the Document Group API response, completed_at and expires_at, so you can track the full lifecycle of a document group in a single call. Instead of calculating expiration dates manually or piecing together completion times from webhook history, you can retrieve precise timestamps directly from the endpoint. This gives you a clearer, more efficient way to monitor deadlines and finalization status across your document group workflows.

When you call GET /v2/document-groups/{document_group_id}, the response now includes completed_at and expires_at as top-level fields. Both return Unix timestamps based on the group's current state. If no invite has been sent, both fields return null. While an invite is in progress, expires_at shows the active deadline and completed_at remains null. Once the group reaches a completed state, completed_at reflects the exact completion time and expires_at returns null. The endpoint maintains full backward compatibility, and the updated fields are documented in the API reference.

Templates are now built around roles instead of specific people, so you can reuse the same template for different signing scenarios.

• Role placeholders in the Recipients panel. Set up roles like Client, Approver, or HR Manager. Each role gets its own color, so you can see at a glance which fields belong to whom.
• Fill fields yourself. Choose Me (Fill Out Now) in the left panel to assign fields to yourself and complete them directly in the editor.
• Save & Send. The main button now saves your template and takes you directly to invite preparation. To save without sending, select Save and Close from the dropdown.
• Prompt before saving an empty template. If no fields are assigned, you'll be asked whether to add fields or continue with a freeform document.

Templates save a lot of time, and now the uploader shows you how right where you start a new document.

• Hover hint on Template. Pause over the Template option in the uploader and a short hint with a visual preview appears, explaining what templates do for your workflow.
• See how templates save time. A new section in the uploader area links directly to guides and videos on the support portal, so you can learn the basics and start using templates right away.

The section also appears in empty template folders and subfolders, so help is available exactly when you need it. The hover hint is available on desktop.

When users prepare a document and add fields assigned to themselves (Me 6 Fill Out Now), they can now add a signature, initials, or stamp with a single click.

Key improvements

• One-click signature, initials, and stamp. If a user already has a default signature, initials, or stamp saved, clicking the field places it immediately. No pop-up window opens, and no extra confirmation is required.
• Fewer steps for self-signing. Users can prepare and sign their own documents with fewer clicks, especially when a document includes multiple signature or initials fields.

How it works

• First-time setup stays the same. If a user hasn't created a signature, initials, or stamp yet, the usual setup window opens. After they create it, they can place it with one click going forward.
• Users can still choose a different option. Click the placed signature, initials, or stamp to select another or create a new one.
• Recipient signing is unchanged. This update applies only to fields users complete themselves while preparing a document. It does not affect the signing experience for recipients.

When you add recipients to a document, the suggested contacts list now shows the people you 6re most likely to send to.

Key improvements

• Suggestions come from Contacts. The recipient list in the editor now uses the same signNow Contacts you see in the Contacts section. Outdated or unrelated email addresses no longer appear in the list.
• Recent contacts appear first. Contacts are sorted by your most recent interaction, so the people you worked with most recently appear at the top.
• Suggestions appear right away. When you click the recipient email field, the suggestion list appears before you type anything. You can then select a contact in one click instead of entering the full email address.
• The list no longer covers the buttons below. Once the email field is filled, the suggestion list closes automatically and no longer covers the buttons below it.

SignNow introduces role-based file permissions for your Workspace public folder. Access to entities in the Workspace folder is now determined by your Workspace role, of which there are two: Administrator and Member.

Workspace Administrators are granted the Editor access level for all entities in the Workspace folder. They can edit, send invites, and view every document and template stored there. Members are granted the Sender access level. They can send invites and view all entities in the Workspace folder but cannot modify content.

These document access levels are aligned with the Single Share feature, keeping permission behavior consistent across the product.

This ensures the right people have the right level of access at all times. Whether a team lead needs to update templates while a colleague is out of the office or a new hire should be able to send and browse shared content, role-based permissions help keep your team productive and your documents protected.

Users see their assigned access level clearly in the interface. File-level permissions control only document access and do not grant any user management capabilities, such as adding members or approving invite requests.

Construction professionals using Procore can now send documents for signature directly from their Procore environment. This new SignNow integration brings e-signature capabilities into one of the construction industry's most widely used project management platforms, enabling you to send files from Procore records and use SignNow templates without switching between applications.

To get started, a Procore admin installs the SignNow app and invites team members similar to other SignNow integrations. Admins can manage templates, upload new ones, add fillable fields, configure field mapping, and set up document storage preferences. Once configured, users see SignNow action buttons within Procore and can send files for signature, select templates, preview and fill documents before sending, and track all signature requests directly within each Procore record. You can log in to SignNow from within Procore using your existing credentials, including Google or Microsoft accounts, through a secure OAuth connection.

We’ve also added a new option in Workspace → Workflow Settings — Automatically generate signatures for signers when filling out signature fields — giving organizations a smoother, more efficient signing experience.

SignNow streamlines how templates work within native app integrations by aligning them with your Workspace. When you upload templates through Admin Tools, they now go directly to your default Workspace Team Folder, making them instantly accessible to everyone in your organization. This eliminates the need for automatically created team folders and delivers a cleaner, more predictable experience — one shared folder where your team can always find the templates they need.

As an Integration Admin with Workspaces enabled, your first template upload through the Native App Admin Tools automatically saves to your default Workspace Team Folder. The system associates this folder with your organization, so all subsequent uploads remain centralized. No additional team folders are created in the background, and users joining from the native app for the first time are not automatically added to extra folders or Workspaces. Your team simply accesses templates through the single shared Workspace Team Folder that every user already belongs to by default.

SignNow now simplifies how you navigate the document editor in View Mode.

Tapping Done closes the editor directly, giving you a faster way to exit without additional steps.

The options menu — including email a copy, print, and close — moves to the three-dots overflow button, keeping useful actions accessible while streamlining your primary workflow.

This updated navigation applies consistently across both individual documents and document groups.

In Invite mode, the primary button now stays as Send whenever you prepare documents for others, providing a more predictable and consistent editing experience.

When you open a document or document group in View Mode, tap Done to close the editor immediately.

To access additional options like emailing a copy or printing, tap the three-dots button in the toolbar to open the actions menu.

If you work in Invite mode (Myself & Others), the primary button always displays Send, regardless of whether fields are present on the document.

When you sign documents yourself using the Myself option, the primary button remains Done.

These changes keep your toolbar consistent and predictable across all editing scenarios.
